We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Animl. Gabriel was very knowledgeable and attentive and the food was just incredible, especially the wagyu which just melts in your mouth. The new cocktail menu is gorgeous too. We will be back!

We loved our evening at Animl. The steak and sides were excellent. But moreover we were thoroughly impressed by the service. Adam at the front was attentive and helpful. Camila went above and beyond, her attention to detail was impeccable. She took the time to learn our names and to make thoughtful recommendations for drinks and dinner. She took note of our dietary restrictions and expanded on them, checking in with us regarding the items we had ordered to make sure they were appropriate. We’ll be back!

Cool spot; steak was very, very mediocre. The ceaser salad was one of the best I've ever had. Overpriced and wouldn't likely go back.

AJ was awesome! We enjoyed his passion on Mixology and his personal invention that he had us try. Food was awesome as was our server (whom I believe was Sophie or Sophia).

The service at this restaurant went above and beyond to make our evening special. The pastrami was delicious, although tough competitors in Toronto. The creamed kale and spinach needed to be a touch reduced. 10 oz ribeye was cooked perfectly, had an amazing crust and just the right amount of salt. Wonderful job in a city with top tier steakhouses. Highly recommend for a beautiful romantic dinner.

The overall experience was great, the service is really good but the steak was not hot enough, if the plate could be warmed up, the steak will not be cold when it comes to the table.
