   Our reservation was for 6 pm, yet when we got there the restaurant was empty. We learned that dinner menu only started at 7 pm, but we could have food from the late lunch menu. The staff and sommelier were forthcoming, friendly and professional; we have only great remarks for our service. The food was not great. The fig and prosciutto focaccia was too sweet, figs being a jam on top of the bread. The stuffed calamari was bland. The fish of the day was served in a bread pocket, opened and removed from its baked shell by our waitress. It was served with a zucchini side that would have been nicer if not cold. The pasta dish was the weirdest, spaghetti in an orange tomato sauce that was much too sweet, and the pasta slightly harder than al dente. The Riesling was nice, thanks again to the friendly staff.

   Anima at the Edition Hotel was a wonderful experience in the beautiful heart of Rome ! The entrance garden is gorgeous and the restaurant was charming with amazing food. The service was impeccable and friendly . Also, we went to the Rooftop after dinner which was a very special experience as well ! Bravo Team Anima / The Edition Rome ! P.S. the Edition in New York City & Miami Beach are great too !

   Il posto bellissimo tutto, dall’entrata, alle varie salette e molto carino il giardino con musica dal vivo, avrei pranzato fuori volentieri, ma faceva freddino. Cibo cucinato bene, solo un po’ fredda la calcio e pepe. Abbiamo aspettato un po’ per le prime portate, ma la caesar salad ottima con tanta pancetta bella croccante, crostini ottimi; avrei preferito iceberg come insalata. Abbiamo chiesto del pane ed hanno portato focaccia calda buonissima. Il toast con burrata e alici veramente ottimo ! Omelette cucinata alla perfezione!!! Ci torniamo volentieri! Peccato poca gente in un posto così !

   We did not have a reservation on a busy Friday holiday, but the manager seated us within 15 minutes. Grazie

   Siamo stati al ristorante Anima nel giorno di Pasqua, atmosfera bellissima, ottimo cibo, servizio eccellente. Accompagnati dalla musica di un sax e lontani dalla confusione, immersi in una vegetazione rigogliosa. Da consigliare

   Location bellissima, pulita e curata. Personale gentile e adeguato in particolare Cristian disponibile, attento e preparato. Menu completo anche con offerta ottima per pranzi/cene “veloci”. Ritorneremo di sicuro!

   Very bad steaks. Almost not edible. Do not assume that this is a good restaurant thinking this is at the Edition Hotel

   Fabulous experience, the cocktail bar was awesome, we were made to feel very comfortable, couldn’t have asked for anything more and played pool afterwards 😳

    The food was lacking aroma and spices in general and the beef was very poor for the price we have paid.
