The steaks were good the Bearnaise sauce is amazing. We also had the Oysters Rockefeller which I highly recommend any oyster fan try. The chocolate cake was good but a little on the dry side. The service was admirable and you felt you were important to the staff. It was a little on the high price side I feel that the entrees should have come with a choice of side. Not the choice of side being separate and an additional cost. When you pay $40.00 for a rib eye it should have been included with a choice of veggie or starch.
Angry Butcher only gets better, excellent food , great service by Daryl and a wonderful greeting by Anna. I can't ask for much more!!!!
The food was good, but some of the side dishes where a little to salty for me.
the Waiter was excellant
My steak was dry this is the 3rd time this has happenef
Excellent steak au poivre, terrific service, even the French onion soup was good. I love this place
Prime Rib was excellent very well seasoned, this was my second visit the first time my fillet wasn't seasoned very well but cooked perfectly, this go around everything was great.
Another excellent meal, I sit at the bar, but even Anna the hostess said hello. The food and service again was excellent.
Food over priced and cold. Tuff prime rib very small filet and everything is extra. Not a good value for the price
Food and wait service excellent; however: 'open table'? Had a 4:30 reservation and upon arrival requested a booth but was told by receptionist that all booths had been reserved for 5:00 diners. Took a table, which was pleasant enough, but observed that NONE of these 5pm diners showed up and the booths were still empty when we left. Other than that , as stated above, had a great dinner with great service.
The food was great! The service was great!! Everything was great!! Loved it!! We're coming back on March 24th and we're bringing a couple of friends to try it out!!
This is one of the best hidden steak houses in Las Vegas !!! The food is Delicious , the service is great and the ambiance is comforting !! If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy a great meal without all the hassle then this is the place for you .... Two thumbs up I love it !!!
So far we have enjoyed each visit. The service is great. I feel The hostess lack a little of organization
The filet minion was cooked very nicely. I liked that they substituted the mashed potatoes for sweet, even when it was a special menu that night.
Was very good food, reasonably priced, and service was good
We reserved Angry Butcher for a Valentines Day dinner. The food was very good and attentive service was very good, would recommend to a friend
Excellent service and food. Prime rib was great...prices are reasonable. Have eaten there several times and plan to return.
I had reservations for 7pm and it was date night for me and my wife. It was inside of Sam’s Town Casino. It was quiet and peaceful. Our waiter was Chalan, he was good. He was courteous and answered our questions. I had fried chicken and wifey had filet mingon. Steak was cooked perfectly. Sides were good too. Loved the fresh bread and butter. It was great to get out for a while. Restaurant was great, will definitely come back.
I have been a customer for approximately one month eating here five times. Each time it has been excellent, food great and service outstanding. Sitting at the bar with Daryl has been wonderful. I have tried a number of different menu items, appetizers, entrees, and salads. It would be easy to recommend all.
Go here every time we go to Las Vegas. The Cleaver Salad and Lobster Chowder are must haves. Had the Shrimp and Scallops instead of my usual Halibut and they were excellent. Looking forward to next time we are in Vegas
They were very nice and let us order exactly what we wanted. Food was great. The creme brulee was decadent!!
The food was fine, however our server was awful, forgetful, inattentive, etc.
Great steaks and sides. Nice atmosphere and good service all at reasonable pricing for what you get. A local favorite.
This was our second visit to the Angry Butcher with our friends. We tried other restaurants that have prime rib. By far, this is the best prime rib in Vegas.
i sat on the patio and experienced the very cool and kitsch light, water and animal
show in the atrium. very analog, very cool.
the halibut and sauteed spinach were delicious.
Great service, delicious food in an intimate setting and at a reasonable price.
Sister's birthday. 7 people; 4 had Prime rib nice size portions; Sister had the Ribeye steak (large); 2 had Steak au poivre. Sides were a la cart, but items were good and enough to share with others. Baked potatoes were large but were over cooked as skins were dark and hard. Only one person displeased about Prime rib being being just warm. Steak au poivre was excellent with the sauce and served with what appeared to be homemade potato chips but somewhat soft with a little chew, delicious. Dessert was a big slice of Cheesecake for the birthday girl. Service was excellent. The server was friendly, funny and interacted well with everyone.
Excellent service, tasty food and a nice, relaxing atmosphere at a reasonable price.
Great service and staff
Food was great as usual and the head waiter was ok but the wait staff was bad, they were like this was first day at work and noise was over powering from Christmas show, should have eaten inside
looking forward to nice dinner on new years eve, when food came every dish was stone cold.
VERY disappointed. left without eating.
We had a lovely meal. Everything was top-notch quality. The server was cheerful and attentive. The wine was reasonably priced, and the food perfectly prepared. The portions were generous. I liked that the menu offered so many options in side dishes. A little skillet held hot rolls and soft butter so yummy they could be a meal all by themselves.
Nice place to eat and great for the whole family
After an agonizing delay in being seated (15 minutes past my reservation time) and an equally agonizing wait for our drink and food orders to be taken, the food and the balance of the service was good. My guess is that they were horribly understaffed which exacerbated the frustration. Our server was good, but harried. And then the dessert selection was limited due to over-booking and under-staffing. We will go back, but not on Christmas Day.
Service started out slow, but had gotten better. Appetizers came quickly and other courses followed. Food was excellent!
The food was delicious and the price outstanding. So much value for the price. We went for Christmas Day and had their Christmas menu. Everyone walked away completely satisfied. It was a wonderful evening. I highly recommend this dining experience. We will certainly be back.
Delicious Christmas Eve dinner with family and friends. Great variety. Friendly staff.
The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. The portions are huge. My husband and I split a dinner and still took food home. Go with a good appetite!
This is our 3rd visit to Angry Butcher. We will probably not be back. Service was not good. We had to open our own wine, hot rolls were not replenished, we had to ask for water and after the meal, we had to ask for coffee. The "special birthday dessert" was practically thrown on the table with a "we ran out of candles". We were quite disappointed, as we live very close and it is a convenient restaurant for us to visit. We will continue to give our business to the Yukon Grille at Arizona Charlies. Too bad, but we did give the Angry Butcher 3 tries and poor service seems to be the main complaint.
We took my mom out for dinner there so that she could see the Christmas decorations in the atrium. The menu choices were very good. Nice variety. Not too many and not too few. Nice variety of wine by the glass as well since I was the only one ordering wine it did not make sense to order a bottle. Service was excellent. Everyone was very pleasant and attentive. Definitely would go back.
Sat at a table near the front of the restaurant. During the automated display out front it was hard to have a conversation for the 5-10 mins it was a little loud. Food was good, I had the prime rib and my wife had the Salmon. Baked potato was huge. Had a side order of mushrooms that were not good and didn't eat.
