The restaurant was top clean only. Dirty serviettes under table, dead flyson on windowsills. Service was friendly and welcoming. Food was just OK pub grub but not reflected with the price. Wine overpriced for quality. White wine served warm, ice bucket provided but too small for ice to be in and container that needs chilling wasn't. Will not be returning.

Booked a table for 14.30 for 4 of us . Arrived and seated in a timeley manner . We were then told that there was an hour wait for food . No sorry , have a drink on us while you wait . It was that even though we took the trouble to book and even verified our attendance we were treated poorly . There was no priority over booked guests to walk ins . Disappointed . Won't be back.

Food was lovely. However we waited over an hour for our starter to come out which was a cold meats and cheese sharing platter. Our mains then came out before we had a chance to finish the platter. Although the pub was rarely busy it was by no means full. This somewhat soured the experience.

We enjoyed an excellent meal with friends yesterday evening and despite there being a wedding reception outside, our food was quickly delivered to us and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Gone down hill a little. Sharing my board very disappointing, main was ok but not good value. Not sure what’s happening but we won’t be back for a while.
