   A lovely meal today. Absolutely love the menu. We weren’t rushed and the meal was relaxed.

   Have been many times to Anglesey arms and this was unfortunately the worst although staff are fantastic the food was rubbish the portions were tiny and way overpriced. The crabacado burger was not a burger just a tiny bit of crispy crab in a tiny cold brioche bun with some oven chips for £21.50 and the babychino sundae was so small the spoon did not fit in the tiny glass bowl it was in and that was £10.50. Wish i had taken photo.So disappointing probably won’t go back.

   Excellent food and drink, reasonably priced as well. Service was good . Very friendly place and our dog was made welcome. We would go back again without hesitation.

   First time here, recommended by a friend for lunch! Absolutely outstanding food, service and value. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely return! (The fish finger sandwich was the best I’ve ever had!) Thankyou

   Nice Sunday lunch. Ate early so not too busy. Beef was cooked past medium, on its way to well done, but still easy to eat and tasty. Not a problem for me but may be for others.

   The food was very good. However towards the end of the meal we felt we were being rushed and at 9.50 we were given our bill and told they were closing in 10 mins. At 10 o'clock we were told that they were now closed and we had to leave

    Visiting UK from Australia and happened across this pub by chance. Everything we have envisioned a good UK pub would be. Kirsten, our waitress was fantastic, not overbearingly attentive, just enough check in on our needs. Fantastic service from her- Thankyou! Food was just fabulous, beautifully presented, cooked just right and “proper” gravy like my Granma used to make. Camembert was excellently paired with other flavours. Pork belly just melted beautifully. Chicken was cooked perfectly, maintaining its moisture and the crumbing was spot on. Portions were more than enough for us. Well done Chefs! Quite a busy place so highly recommend booking. My only concern, which more personal safety, is having to step over dogs lying on the floor and not interested in moving, nor was the owners interested in encouraging them to move, to get out of the dining room. I’m allergic and not always completely steady on my feet all the time and the fact they were allowed to sit anywhere they pleased, previously seated in one spot they then moved to the front, including the seats near walk ways just gave me worry of tripping. There was room for the group to be seated away from the doors. Would definitely be back if we are in the area again.
