   We went on a Wednesday and it was a slow night but the chef (Simon!) came by our table and told us we didn't need to order off of the menu as he'd make "anything we wanted". It was fantastic!

   Delicious food. I look all over for good Italian restaurants since moving to the Poconos from N.J. and they did not disappoint. They have a large selection too which I liked. Maybe less salt on the fried calamari but my stuffed veal chop and my husband's lobster in franchise sauce were very good.

    Went here for an early Valentine's day dinner on a recommendation from friends. So very glad we did! The whole experience was top notch. I'll surely be back and would tell anyone to go.

    Angelo’s is always a great dinner out. The food is delicious, but the service is one of the best things about the restaurant. We feel very welcomed here and enjoy it immensely.

    We had an AWESOME meal at Angelo's, highly recommended! From appetizers to dessert all was served with great presentation and food was hot - and delicious. Seating is somewhat tight in parts of the main dining area and can be a bit loud when full. Live music provided is a plus for those who enjoy it. We look forward to coming back to this excellent restaurant!

    Overpriced and limited menu for NYE. $36 for Penne with Vodka! Sat in a cold corner near the door and when asked to be moved, was told it was first come first serve (we had reservations and there were open tables that were sat after us.) we watched another table being served a delicious looking meal that wasn’t on our limited menu. When I asked our server, we were told they had arranged a special order in advance. While the food was decent, it is not worth going back.

    Attentive service at a clean and well decorated room. Good menu and interesting specials. We had a delicious portobello appetizer and very well made Caesar salad. Everyone enjoyed their entrees too, including veal chop, pasta and chicken, shrimp, and seafood fra diavlo Coffee and dessert were on point !

    To begin, we were sat right by the door so I froze for most of the night, every time the door opened. It took 30 mins to get our drinks and 60 mins to get bread and appetizer. The portions were laughable for the price. My date left hungry and so did I because I gave him some of my dinner. The server was kind and pleasant, apologizing for the delays of basically everything. After an hour and a half, she brought us a complimentary glass of wine. The dinners tasted good, but $18 for an appetizer which was the size of a silver dollar is ridiculous. We won’t go here again.

    Angelo's is one of our favorite Restaurants. The cocktails are yummy and the warm bread is served with a soft garlic butter. The appetizers and salad are prepared with fresh ingredients. The entrees are scrumptious and served at the perfect temperature. Best of luck choosing a desert from the tray of beautiful delicacies. The meal delivery is paced perfectly and the waitstaff are superb.

    The food was very good! The cocktails were also. We dined at the bar, and we were greeted quickly and drinks came right away. It was a busy weekend night and only one bartender for the entire restaurant, so I hate to criticize the bartender. However my husbands meal was not as he ordered it, and a side was completely absent. He was also charged for substituting pasta for potatoes and wasn’t told this would be the case. And finally, when we tried to order another round of drinks, we were told that there were other orders ahead of us, we would have to wait, and that’s what you get for eating at the bar. As I said, the food was very good, but we won’t be visiting again anytime soon.

    One waitress, taking care of 5 tables. Barely stopped back. Never asked if we wanted extra Parm cheese etc. We asked for a description of a bone marrow appetizer and had the understanding that there was beef in the bone. Was described incorrectly. The Carbonara was the worst I have ever had… very yolky! Terribly disappointed!

    Blackened Delmonico was not blackened. Veal chop Milanese had breading soaked in the oil it was fried in. Overall, we love Angelo’s! However, the food this time disappointed us. As usual, service and ambiance were terrific.

    We were seated promptly for our reservation time. However, waitress took 20 minutes to arrive for drink order. Drinks took a while but food was over an hour. Outside may have been busy but restaurant was only 1/3 full on a Saturday, I will say - everything was absolutely delicious! Artichoke appetizer with crab was amazing as were all 3 of our entrees. We split pistachio dessert which was also very good. We will return in hopes of better service.

    Kudos to the manager Liz & bartender Sam for turning our bad experience to a pleasant one. They both stepped up to the plate after our initial server decided to walk out last night. We will return due to Liz and Sam’s kind service & of course for Angelo’s delicious food! Btw- love the outdoor seating.
