In my opinion, this restaurant has the best pizza in NYC. Always crispy, never soggy and the cheese they use is high quality and the red sauce is very smooth. We always come here when we visit the city and are never disappointed.

As always, pizza was outstanding. We enjoyed the family style salad which was large enough to feed 6 people and was delicious. The cannoli was also very good. Traditional Italian style. Overall experience was great!

Nothing spectacular. The wine was horrible and the cheapest bottle available was $58. Other places in the neighborhood offer better choices for less. Definitely a tourist trap. The sauces were starchy, the breading on the veal sub-par, but the pizza was good. Stick to the pizza. Pasta was Al dente and decent but the sauce was average.

This was a great spot to eat before going to see a Broadway show. I personally wouldn’t order appetizers again because we ended up having too much food, but the pizza was FANTASTIC. Service was friendly and quick.

Service was great, but food was average at best. We had Caesar salads, which were good, baked ziti, which was just OK (sauce is way too sweet), and a personal pizza with pepperoni, which seemed almost like a frozen pizza I would buy in the supermarket. People were great, place was clean, but food only so-so.

Angelo's is always a stop during our New York visits. Disappointed we were not able to attend the Stephen Colbert Show due to writers' strike, but still had to make the trip to Angelo's to enjoy New York Pizza. It has definitely become a staple!

My husband and I were strapped for time so we decided to eat at Angelo’s Pizza and Restaurant before a show at the NY City Center. They sat us at the window, but the tables are tight, so you wind up overhearing conversations. We split the mozzarella sticks that were very good, but had a little too much breading for my liking. My husband ordered the chicken parmigiana and I ordered the salmon with grilled vegetables. Both meals were delicious and arrived promptly. I would have liked to try dessert and definitely want to try their pizza and salad next time, but we were running a little late. I would love to dine their again, but may request to sit upstairs since the table spacing appeared better upstairs.

Passed by this place several times and decided to try it. We were surprised with how big it is inside with more seating upstairs. Food was great! We had spaghetti and meatballs and a white pizza with chicken and arugula; excellent flavor on both and we learned how tasty a coal-fired pizza can be! Excellent service and ambiance was great, especially for groups.

Never imagined there was an upstairs restaurant which was an oasis - right on Broadway. Airy and cozy at the same time. The pizza was delicious and the servers attentive. We had tickets for a play at Studio 54 and this was the perfect location for dinner before. Will definitely be back!

This was our first time at Angelo’s. We will definitely be back. The food is amazing - wood fired pizza, the meals and starters were all excellent. Downstairs is cozy and upstairs is suitable for larger groups or more room. Service is attentive without being intrusive. Everything was wonderful.
