   Angelo Mio has a large menu with many excellent choices. We've been dining here for years and it has always been a warm and pleasant experience. We can't wait until our next visit.

   Our family loves Angelo Mio. The food is always consistently good, the service is excellent and it is easy to park in downtown MP. Highly recommend

   The carpaccio was ok...needed a little olive oil very dry! The “special” artichoke was very small and not much taste. Very pricey for what we ordered. We were the onl,y customers in the restaurant so it was nice and quiet

   Very few things prompt me to write a poor review, knowing how damaging they can be. That said, my experience today warrants the effort. This is a charming facility, well laid out, spacious and comfortable. The maître d’ was welcoming and we anticipated a very pleasant experience. Two people were dining, myself and a friend. I ordered a pasta special and when it came, it was very obvious that it did not resemble the description. I asked the waitress if I could return it, but she unfortunately spoke very broken English, so I told her that I would keep it and see if it worked. It was a few steps short of inedible, so I asked her to return it and exchange it for a salad. I’m not sure if she was arguing with me or if she simply did not understand the request, but it got a little awkward before the exchange was made. In the meantime, my very easy to please friend, commented that her Chicken Caesar salad was probably the poorest she had ever had. I had ordered their salmon salad as a replacement dish and literally could smell the fish as the waitress put it on the table. I didn’t touch it, for obvious reasons, and we both would up sending the salads back essentially uneaten. It’s really unfortunate, as it’s a darling facility and in a great location, but I can’t imagine ever returning. What was wrong with the lunch suggest a very serious sanitation and customer service problem, not just a one off.

   We went for a friend’s birthday and had an overwhelmingly disappointing experience. The house Cabernet is awful, our artichoke appetizer came out cold and flavorless, my spaghetti tasted awful and for there only being a few tables sat the service was overall pretty slow. Do not recommend, would not go back.

   What a quaint little gem. I was in town on business and needed an enjoyable dinner after a hard day. I found this restaurant on a small downtown street lined with multiple types of businesses. It reminded me of downtown Laguna Beach, very nice. The service was outstanding as my servers were friendly and attentive to my every need. Most importantly, they let me be to enjoy my peace and quiet. It's always a pleasure to have servers enjoying their job. The food was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the fresh baked bread (with oil/balsamic dipping sauce), chicken piccata, cauliflower soup and iced tea. It was plenty, but unfortunately left me no room to try their eye catching desserts (which I happened to see as they were served to the table next to me). I would say the prices are a little high as $40 is a little stiff for a business meal for one. Would I return and take the wrath of accounting, FOR SURE!!!

   Angelo Mio serves excellent Italian fare at moderate prices. Their decor is very Italian trattoria and the outdoor area, where we sat, was perfect on a summer evening. Their food is fresh, always tasty, and well-seasoned. The emphasis is on Tuscan cuisine, but there are standard favorites as well, such a traditional pasta dishes and good bread served with herbed olive oil. The giant stuffed artichokes were fabulous, and our party of five each cleaned our plate!

   Salad ingredients are always fresh and tasty with excellent dressing. And the chef creates some lovely sauces. The service is always excellent.

    My friend and I ordered the chicken which is a staple in the menu. I could tell that the chicken breast was not only from frozen but had turned. The waitress swore that she “saw the chicken being delivered that morning” (saturday!” And “guaranteed that it was fresh that day. I could not eat the meal, sent it back but was charged anyway. I used to go to AngeloMio all the time. NEVER AGAIN
