Angelo Elia Pizza Bar Tapas - Weston
Opening Angelo Elia Pizza, Wine Bar and Tapas restaurant was a passion of Chef Angelo Elia for more than eight years. While Casa D'Angelo has been a place for him to showcase his depth of Italian technique, he wanted to create a restaurant that felt more like the simple Italy he visits year after year where ingredients are at the forefront. A place where you could come and sit and pick at food as you want with friends. But it didn't come that easy. Like all things that are simple, careful thought and research has gone into the menu and the guarded sources of our premium ingredients. In the end, D’Angelo is all about friends and a good bottle of wine enjoyed in a contemporary, easy dining atmosphere.

Added 20% to our bill. Even after not having our wine and picking one that was more expensive. We ordered 2 bottles so 20% was a heavy tip. Mostly because my wife and mother in law were asked if they wanted their plates boxed 3 and 2 times respectively. I was asked once while I was chewing. And we weren’t asked why we had a special occasion. Shame because we are local and could come here often.
absolutely amazing as always!!!
Always predictable - which is exactly what you want when going out for the evening with friends.
Dinner was great- Short Ribs, Pizza, Calamari, .... little of everything - and all perfect.
Old Fashions from the bar were good, Mojito, wine- all good.
Fabio our waiter did a great job - and usually we have Jennifer and she's always super too.
The waitress forgot to bring us bread, but that's ok. The food was amazing as always. It is a little overpriced. My friend got ravioli that was $32 and I go salad with Shrimp that was $24. As I said, a little overpriced, but soooo good!
Food was good but a bit pricey for what it is. Service was a little TOO attentive to the point of being pushy. They kept asking if we wanted to order then kept wanting to take plates away when not everyone was finished. Once or twice is okay but they asked multiple times to the point of annoyance.
Food was mediocre. Barely a step up from Olive Garden. Our previous visits were certainly more enjoyable.
Service was awful and the worst part of the experience. Forgot to put in half of our orders.
Had been warned that it was not what it used to be. We should have listened. Will not be back.
Have been a few times. Along with having been to their flagship Csaa D’Angelo a few times as well. This place has quality food. Service is always just fair at best. The menu items are a little overpriced. It’s certainly not a go to spot despite living less than 3 miles away. Usually go out of convenience such as a movie in Weston after dinner. Good food. Fair service. Slightly overpriced
Great service and food!!!
Always excellent food, service. Our favorite pizza, seafood, pasta go to place.
Wonderful Gluten Free Options!!!
Would drive 45 minutes just for the GF Pizza
Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. We will be back!
Best place for salads and pizza.Always delicious!
Great menu, good vibe, a bit noisy but top notch service!
Table located too close to kitchen, waiters bumping chairs too much activity to truly relax.
Great experience. Enjoyed it very much.
This is an exceptional Italian restaurant and totally worth the visit. The pizza is out of this world and what was surprising is that the pasta is even better. We keep going back and it keeps up with the exceptional service, food and atmosphere we have gotten used to.
This has become my favorite restaurant in Weston! Superb! Don't miss!
Dinner was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was pleasant and very accommodating. Will definitely be returning.
Food was excellent
Como siempre, fabuloso.
I was hungry for a pizza, and since I have eaten here before , I thought of this restaurant. Loved the Maguerita pizza! And the Barolo wine was tasty as well.
Como siempre- mi filet mignon riquísimo!!!!! Nos atendió Fabio - encantador!!!!! Volveremos pronto
Excellent. So happy to have found this place. Food is outstanding and the service and ambiance is wonderful. Love that they have everything from raw bar selections to fine dining specials to pizza and paninis.
Delicious food and great service highly recommend
Great food and modestly produced. Marguerita pizza and burrata (appetizer) were both amazing.
Our favorite place in Weston, always the best food and excellent service, Janisa took great care of us!
The food and service are always great in this place.
Food and service was great but overpriced for what you get
Been here quite a few times. Best "Happy Hour" in town. Food is consistent. Sometimes specials are awesome, Like the Roasted Boar. Worth a try!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Weston. Excellent as always.
My daughter and I went for mother's day. The food was excellent! Really enjoyed the venue. My daughter has never liked tiramisu. I convinced her to give theirs a try. She absolutely loved it! Definitely recommended for special occasions.
My family and I went to have a Mother’s Day lunch at the restaurant and it was a very ehhh and unimpressive dining experience. First off, I made a reservation in advance through OpenTable and when my family arrived at the restaurant, the table wasn’t ready for nearly 10 more minutes while we watched a few other groups be seated ahead of us. The hostess did not do her best to ensure we were seated appropriately and we had to awkwardly stand near the front area of the restaurant as we waited to find out what was occurring with our table—mind you, we had a reservation for a specific time and for a specific amount of people. When we were finally then seated, the server was alright, not very personable, and he did not listen to or record the order very clearly. The food was also alright, and unfortunately nothing special today. We typically have a much more pleasant and enjoyable experience at the restaurant and today was not really as special as we had intended. The server ultimately did take care of the problematic food orders and we appreciated his assistance. In addition, the server brought out the check at the same time as he brought out the dessert and stuck them both rather hastily on the table. It sent a message that since typically dessert is the final course of a meal, that we were assumed to be done and that he would not be returning to our table other than to collect the check payment. It was just a very off-putting experience today, however, possibly in the future we will try again and take this not-so-positive experience as a moment in time and not a typical treatment. This review is not intended to bash anyone in particular, but merely provide feedback from our Mother’s Day experience today.
Nice place with a sophisticated atmosphere but still very family friendly! Food quality is good with very reasonable pricing for the regular entree menu and a higher prices for the specials of the day. Good selection of food. Service sometimes could be a little better with more attention to details, but nothing that would cause a bad experience.
We like the food and the ambiance. We met a wonderful couple sitting next to us which already made plan to see each other again. Food was exquisite.
My dinner was just amazing .. stuffed artichoke was soo yummy .. the short ribs are the best
OUTSTANDING SERVICE TEAM. OUTSTANDING QUALITY FOOD.
It was great food and experience with my family
Been coming for a long time, I know all the crew but they don’t know me, I think they should be a little more friendly with the frequently customers, in the other hand, one of the best server is Fabio, that guy is always one step ahead.
I would recommend to teach some others server, to be careful when they are going to pick up the table near the closing hour, because make the mistake to remove the plate before we finish, and that is a little disturbing. At the end of the day the most important is the food which is always amazing.
Our server was excellent. I ordered a pizza which tasted great. The Cab I ordered was very good too. My wife on the other hand ordered a panini and didn’t like her food at all. Hence, the lower rating on food.
The menu is varied in options--tapas, appetizers, pizza, entrees. It is vegetarian friendly. The service is superb.
