Moved to LA and haven’t found a spot that blew me away until I came here! The food is completely outstanding, our waiter was AMAZING ( I totally forgot his name unfortunately) And the overall experience was excellent. Will definitely be coming back!!!

Good service, and good-tasting food, but very low value for the money. We paid $180 plus tip for lunch for 2 people with 2 glasses of wine that were served on the lighter end (almost 1/2 glass for $18 bucks each), and the pasta portions were very small, so I had to order another side dish to not end up hungry. In short: good food but very small portions for both food and wine.

This was our first visit here in a few years. We raved about previous visits. This was good but unremarkable. Nothing stood out. Also, their website summarized on Open Table listed corkage fee as $35 per bottle for the first two bottles and $50 for each additional bottle. We brought 2 bottles and they charged $50 each.

Excellent as always. The food is truly outstanding . The octopus being one of our favourites and is ordered every time. Our server was a gem. Fluent Italian, professional, and just all around lovely. Fantastic!

Whenever to travel up to LA from Del Mar, we try and eat at least once at Angelini. This time was no exception, and the greeting, service, ambiance and of course, the food, were up to our expectations. What more can you want - comfortable atmosphere, attentive, knowledgeable service, and great food and wine - without being rushed. You feel like family and it makes for a very special experience.

This was my second time at Angelini Osteria. Everything we ate was outstanding. We started with a salad that included nice pieces of lobster and thin slices of fresh peaches. We split that and also our pasta course of penne pasta with crumbled bacon in a mildly spicy sauce. My friend had a steak that was perfectly cooked and sliced in long slices that made it easier to cut. I had one of the best swordfish steaks I have ever had, perfectly cooked. For dessert we shared a chocolate moose. All of that combined with a lovely evening in the side garden area made for a perfect night.

This is a wonderful restaurant and it's been our favorite in LA for many years. The staff are great and the food is normally excellent. They only disappointment is they now have a $50 corkage which is too much to pay when their actual wine list is also expensive.

They were out of several things that were in the menu. I understand it if they are specials. Service was fine but it did take a bit to get our server. It seemed like other servers were much more attentive than ours. The food was good.

Angelini Osteria is an authentic Italian Osteria. We lived in Italy for four years and have visited Italy several times since. This place is for real. Outstanding food and service. From the ANTIPASTI to the PASTE to the DOLCE, no disappointments. The staff is attentive and responsive. A must visit. Don’t miss out.

I normally love Angelini but last night it was a bit off. I’m a big fan of the tagliatelle bolognese but this time there was barely any beef. Very skimpy. And the pasta portion seemed smaller than usual. Also our waiter forgot to order an appetizer of zucchini so that was disappointing. I’m still a fan of the restaurant and will continue to go back, last night was a rare miss.

The food and service at Angelina Osteria are always outstanding. Every meal we have eaten there has been a tasty treat. This time we shared bruschetta of red and yellow tomatoes with basil and arugula, tagliolini with lemon cream sauce, the salt crusted branzino with vegetables and mashed potatoes, and tiramisu. Everything was excellent. The tomatoes in the bruschetta were complemented by the grilled bread. The pasta was fresh and incredibly delicate. The fish and vegetables were perfect. The Pinot Noir we had with dinner just enhanced the taste of the food. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. They always make diners feel welcome. The restaurant is always crowded because diners can’t wait to return for more delicious food. We are outside, and it was lovely.

I live in Portland, Oregon, and I saw Angelini Osteria featured on Food Network. I have wanted to go to the restaurant for 3 years, and I finally had the opportunity on Saturday, September 2nd. It was some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had, and the service was outstanding. The restaurant is high end and in Beverly Hills, but our waiter and every person on staff made us feel completely welcomed and comfortable. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone and can’t wait to return.

This is my favourite Italian In a neighborhood that is close to where I live. Great food, well prepared, well presented and a good menu. Great wine choices and the service is friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. Definitely one of the est Italian restaurants in Los Angeles without some of the pretense of others. I go back again and again...

This used to be a great tiny restaurant that we went to frequently, but they greatly expanded in size and don’t seem to be able to handle the size. A side dish ordered at the beginning basically came as a dessert when we were finished with all other things we ordered after asking for the side dish four times. Most of the food is still good, but they really need to step up their pizza game; my spouse found the pizza to be so bad he couldn’t eat it. After asking for his side dish multiple times, I think he tried to signal to them that he really needed the side dish by having the pizza boxed up in the middle of the meal. This didn’t help, and the side dish still didn’t come until we were ready for the check. Unfortunately, he didn’t want what I was eating. There’s a lot more competition for good pizza in Los Angeles now than when they started. Their salads are so-so. Their fish and pasta are very good, but their prices are a lot higher than comparable large disorganized restaurants. It was our anniversary, and they knew it. A good and expensive restaurant, screwing up the service that badly on a special occasion would’ve comped something or at least apologized. My spouse said he won’t be returning. The place was just too unorganized. It’s too bad because there are some really good people there; we are long-time customers, and I have a lot of fond memories of the place from when they used to be a better restaurant. I put that I would recommend it, but I would probably only dine in if a friend wanted to go. It wouldn’t be among my first choices. I would consider getting a pasta or artichokes to go, however, if I lived near there. There are much better dine-in restaurants in DTLA, Silverlake, Highland Park and West Adams for a special occasion though. The people dining around us seemed to be tourists, so the restaurant is probably surviving on its historical reputation at this point — not on its current value as compared to other restaurants in the same price range.

Our long time favorite restaurant in Los Angeles where both the food and service are exemplary . Their daily menu is huge plus they always have seasonal offerings like Santa Barbara Spot Prawns or Amberjack served with fresh vegetables. Service is friendly and attentive .

I love this place, and it's my second time here. I tried out the tagliolini limone, which came highly recommended, and it was delicious. My friend got the pumpkin tortelli, which was also good, but we agreed the tagliolini was the best.
