Angelicas is a family-operated business and is located in the historic district of downtown Redwood City, come visit us Tuesday through Sunday for breakfast, lunch, dinner, happy hour, or weekend brunch. Our Executive Chef Angelica, offers a unique style of California cuisine with Latin Flair. Dishes are vibrant and full of flavor. We offer cozy indoor and outdoor seating.

Happy Hour: 4pm-6pm, Tuesday to Friday.

We came here to celebrate Father’s Day and a birthday, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. The food was just okay — the tortilla soup, in particular, was overly salty and inedible. Service was also disappointing. Our server was difficult to find and seemed rushed anytime we had a question or tried to engage. The restaurant automatically adds a 20% service charge for parties of six or more, regardless of service quality. We did bring our concerns to the manager and were told the service charge would be credited, but we’re still waiting for that to be resolved. Overall, the visit felt overpriced for what we received, and it just wasn’t the special celebration we were hoping for. We don’t plan on returning.

Seated right away and had our drinks order in, 2 minutes later. I tried a Vesper martini and it arrived ice cold and delicious! My seatmate had some very nice sangria. One of our party had the Desayuno Americano - scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes and potatoes. Although they enjoyed their breakfast, they said they wished the eggs were seasoned. The party who had the huevos rancheros enjoyed their meal very much. I had the veggie omelet and they were nice enough to sub out the spinach for avocado and add cheese and sour cream and salsa on top. I don’t know how they seasoned the eggs but that omelet is the tastiest and best I’ve enjoyed recently. I also loved their breakfast potatoes and appreciated the thin slices of watermelon and pineapple. Service was very good on our visit, even though the restaurant had two big event parties going on while we were there.

What a beautiful day inside the patio for Brunch with a friend of many years. It was windy outside, but the ambience inside was fun and warm. Delicious food and a great menu with many choices! Attentive and friendly service.

AMAZING patio atmosphere! Their service was spotty but it was Mother’s Day brunch so I totally understand they were busy. Food was incredible… definitely will return!
