Angelena's is a new Italian concept in Pensacola, Florida.

Chef Briscione’s menu brings creative, Southern touches to classic Italian cuisine. Handmade pastas, thoughtfully prepared vegetable dishes are served alongside an abundance of Gulf seafood. The dining room’s wood-fired oven lends flavor to everything from Neapolitan-style pizzas to meatballs and desserts. Wine Director, Brooke Parkhurst, curates the extensive Italian wine list, highlighting wines from thirteen different Italian wine-growing regions.

    Brother Fox is a welcome addition to Historic Pensacola’s dining scene! Executive Chef Darien Hernandez draws inspiration from both Spanish cuisine and the art of open-fire grilling. In a unique and rare collaboration, he and Chef James Briscione will team up in the Angelena’s kitchen to cook and showcase a delicious array of Spanish and Italian tapas and small plates. Wine Director, Brooke Parkhurst, will pair with wines from the respective countries.

    The most elegant & iconic sparkler in the world represents celebration & luxury. Although the Angelena’s wine list is all-Italian, there has always been room for a select group of premiere champagnes. Domaine Laurent-Perrier is at the top of Wine Director Brooke Parkhurst’s list. The Laurent-Perrier Estate was founded in 1812. “Freshness, finesse and elegance” are hallmarks of theirs. The Domaine’s prestigious past can be enjoyed in every bottle—whether it be in their Ultra Brut, Blanc de Blanc or rosé. Chef Briscione & Parhurst will work with Michael Fix, Winebow’s lead wine specialist, to lead guests through a luxury champagne tasting and dinner. Fresh Gulf seafood, light Italian cheeses and more will round out this memorable event.

    Had a wonderful dinner! The atmosphere was lovely and the tables didn’t feel so crowded you are in someone else’s conversation. Had the signature Limontinni and wow! So good. The fried mozzarella was light and resting in a bed of delicious red sauce, the crispy Brussel sprouts are not to be missed. Entrees were lasagna and butternut squash ravioli and both were excellent. Finished the evening off with a shared desert cannoli that wasn’t my favorite, but the Expresso Martini stole the show!!! Will be back

    Outstanding meal! My sister in law was with us from Bham, and can’t wait to get my brother there!. Waiter was very good and adept at getting us to order a few extra scallops here and another drink there 😂😂. We didn’t feel hurried, even tho our reservation was so early. Lovely, as usual!

    Went for our Anniversary dinner. The restaurant knew ahead of time that we were there for a special occasion, but despite other more intimate/romantic tables, they sat us at a table placed partway under the pizza bar (where we had to stare at a giant meat cutter throughout the experience) jammed in between two other tables. We had the baked mozzarella as an appetizer - which was tasty, chicken parmesan for two for main - which we would not order again (chicken was on the dry side, sauce tasted canned & baked spaghetti side was complete mush), and limoncello cheesecake - which was the worst!! (under baked yet slightly burnt top, grainy, and the half that we took to-go was a puddle in the box once we took 25 minutes to get home). I will say their pizzas appeared to be delicious and my glass of wine was lovely. The restaurant was clean and our server was super attentive and helpful.

    We had a fabulous meal and evening made even more delightful by our server, Madeline. She was knowledgeable, quick with recommendations (which we followed and really liked) - a very pleasing young lady. This is our third time to Angelena's and we will be sure to return.

    Four of us went on Tuscan Tuesday for the $25 pizza and bottle of wine. Had an excellent pepperoni pizza, the best in Pensacola, and a fantstic beet salad. It's a happy, even loud atmosphere, reminiscent of an Italian New Orleans restaurant.

    Excellent service. Knowledgeable staff. Great ambiance. However, the pasta with short rib was way too salty. And the fish special wasn’t the actual fish they intended which was disappointing. The appetizers were great though.

    This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. everything on the menu is perfect. cheers to the chef and staff for providing one of the best dinning experiences in the area. don't expect the norm.. the chef is super creative and the ingredients are fresh and all the dishes are made to perfection.

    My Date has the Filet and it was cooked to perfection. I had the Seared Scallops with shrimp and the Polenta both were excellent. We also had yellowtail and the fried red snapper for appetizers. Highly recommend the place for Dinner.

    Great experience. Andy, our waiter, was very professional and knew the menu. Can’t wait to go back. Beef tartare phenomenal, missed the egg but it was still great. Perfect portion of short rib ravioli and limoncello cheesecake is a must.
