Beautiful dining room and bar area. Food is great take on Italian! Service is friendly and efficient. It can be a bit loud but that just shows you how much people are enjoying themselves.
Pretty darn close to perfect! There were six of us dining. Our starters ranged from the scallop crudo, burrata, and Caesar salad--ALL over the top! My friend and I shared the duck two ways, and it was yummy. The hit of the evening was the Dirty Duck, which was part of the pasta tasting menu that could be ordered alone. One person in our group got the sweet potato ravioli. She said the pasta was perfect and delicious, but the portion was small. She even mentioned that one of the raviolis had nothing inside. We felt slightly rushed. We're that group that likes for everyone to be finished before plates are cleared.
This was a first time dining here since lockdown. Can't wait to go back!
we like the food here and this dinner was excellent. Had the Lasagna.
I requested a seat by the window and ended up in the middle of the restaurant also we were celebrating our anniversary nothing was said or done. We sat for almost 15 minutes and no one came to the table got up to ask someone to get us something to drink manager was standing there didn’t say anything but found out he was having a meeting with the staff and it was running late. Food is over priced poor management very disappointing will make sure everyone I know who doesn’t eat at this restaurant. When you buy the chicken Parm they had another six dollars for the spaghetti never heard of such a thing and I was a manager for 20 years in fine dining in Chicago never seen anything so poorly managed as this was. Two tables sitting without servers while the managers wife standing there texting.
We had a excellent waiter. The whole dining experience was fabulous! We will definitely be going back!
Live this place. It is quiet when it is a little earlier but gets noisier as the night progresses but still very nice and love going here
The ambiance and service was a great start to our evening. The Short Rib Arancini Balls for an appetizer were delicious! My husband had the Meatballs with Rigatoni in Vodka Sauce - he thoroughly enjoyed it and I had Gnocchi with mushrooms and pork rillons in Marsala sauce - unfortunately the rillons were too salty and the Gnocchi was too dense. We shared the dessert special of the night - a Chocolate Truffle bar and it was very, very good.
It was a bit disappointing that the fish of the day was Cobia (and no other choices) when Pensacola/Gulf Coast is really the Grouper capital.
Overall it was a good experience and we will return when we are in the area, but I will definitely choose a different entree :-)
Delicious authentic Italian food! Would definitely recommend and hope to go back soon!
Our server, Jamie, was perfect. Food was amazing. Made our anniversary one to remember.
Amazing restaurant! Food incredible. Cocktail and wine list incredible. Friendly staff!
Awesome! Highly recommend. Food was fabulous, waitress was very pleasant and offered suggestions. Was able to carry on a conversation at the table and not have a hard time hearing each of us.
Downtown location, decent food. The presentation of dishes was excellent however felt most items were overly salty and I do appreciate salt. Focaccia bread with good flavor however believe what was too much garlic salt. Deviled eggs similarly salty. The caesar salad had a spicy kick (horseradish?) I tempered it with left over focaccia olive oil. Both would have benefited with a bit of balsamic. Margarita pizza was fresh and flavorful. The family apparently enjoyed the lasagna (2 cleaned plates). Rigatoni and meatballs, I will pass on and would not order again; not particularly good/bad just certain other items on the menu more enjoyable. Specialty drinks of the two ordered, one was tasteful. Overall the ambiance was Loud and we were not able to hear across the table. Definitely not a setting for intimate evening. Recommend sound suppression as is essential an open tile hall with glass windows nearly throughout. Server was pleasant however either over tasked/slow. Kind service however lacked professionalism and had difficulty remembering items. Potentially worth another visit however numerous preferred locations and for the price unlikely to return unless desired by friends/family.
Lovely little neighborhood gem. The food, atmosphere, and Amanda were lovely. We had the best focaccia and delicious frisée with a lemon vinegarette and Cesar salad for starters. I had the ravioli and it was amazing: it was one large ravioli with half short rib and half creamy cheese with an Alfredo sauce, topped in a cheesy foam and crispy Parmesan crisp, accompanied by the crispy Brussels sprouts and decadent polenta. My husband and friends enjoyed the chicken parmigiana with their amazing homemade pasta and the grouper ( catch of the day) served with a beautiful side of fresh vegetables. The drinks were lovely as well. It’s probably the best restaurant in Pensacola.
Seating was good. Service was good. Don’t feel the food was up to par with the prices. My hubby ordered a steak and it was inedible, but the management stepped up and made it right by comping the steak and also giving us a gift certificate. Very impressed with the way the restaurant is managed.
The service was amazing but the food was over cooked and not worth the money, unfortunately.
The addition of a rose wine to the Tuesday pizza and wine special was delicious. Hope they continue this.
Lovely place. The chef's tasting menu was high quality. We really enjoyed the ambiance and will be going back!
Our server was absolutely amazing thank you so much Logan
Service was outstanding. Food was incredible
Fantastic meal so fresh. The wine was delicious. Perfect evening
Its a beautiful restaurant with excellent service and food. We were seated close to the pizza oven area and it was a bit hot in comparison to the bar area. non the less, its a wonderful restaurant.
4 out of 5 of us are gluten free (a couple are celiac) and the chef and staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Angelena’s is regular stop for us because of the amazing GF crust pizzas and pastas. Service is always great and the food is always delicious! Shoutout to Jared, Sam, and Chef Briscione! Y’all are the best :)
This was our second time dining at Angelena’s. Service was great. Appetizers were great! We have the cheese plate and meatballs. For dinner my wife had the pork chop which was delicious. I had lasagna and it was delicious as well. We were sat near the bar which was a bit loud but tolerable. Atmosphere was great! Overall it has a nice, upscale vibe!
Great experience! The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the products.
Great food and service!
Our server this evening was Becky and she was amazing. We always enjoy our visits to Angelena’s but Becky made it even more enjoyable!!! Dinner was wonderful as always!
Food was delicious and Logan was a wonderful server, we will definitely be back.
I was on vacation in Pensacola and have really struck out with many restaurants. This restaurant turned out to be a wonderful surprise
Everything was perfect!!! From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left!!! Best dining experience ever!!!
Excellent service, food and ambience. We were first-timers, but will be back
Old adage " What you pay is what you get" applies here . We went here to try out Restaurant week menu.
I ordered Salad with chick peas. Dressings was on sweeter side. No better than any other ordinary restaurants. My wife ordered Egg plant. It was very good. As per my Entrée, it tasted like plain old Mac and Cheese with few Shrimp Thrown in. My wife have been here before for lunch with her friends and she said it was very good. She told me hat quality had gone down. I am not in restaurant business and in tis time of Pandemic- free Government money: I would imagine how hard it would be to keep the business going.
Angelelena’s never disappoints! Wonderful service, great atmosphere all combine for a special occasion or just a casual night out.
Logan was the best waiter I've ever had here and all of them are pretty damn good.
Disappointed. Rigatoni & Meatballs Alla Vodka was inedible.
Overall it was a nice experience. Food and wine are expensive but we were happy in general
We have been to Angelena's several time and is one of our favorite Pensacola restaurants. This time we went due to the special restaurant week menu.
The dishes were. Chilled tomato soup - very savory and excellent. Italian chopped salad - a caesar salad enhanced. Very good. Pizza - a white pizza with chicken. very good and large enough for two. Shrimp Fra Diavola - Spicy with excellent rigatoni. Outstanding. Buttermilk panna cotta - Light custard dessert with chopped peaches. Butter pecan gelato - just excellent.
It was busy that night and the service was a little slow as is typical given the labor shortages everywhere. But, it is a pleasant place to simply enjoy the atmosphere.
Theres so much to recommend at Angelena's.
Very good food, wait staff was pleasant…overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Restaurant week Pensacola. Three choices of. of app main and dessert. All awesome
Great service & food was awesome. Great wine selection.
