Angel Stadium - Saint Archer Brewing Co. Ratings and Reviews
I have Saint Archers at least 20 times this season the food is always excellent as it was this time however for the first time ever the waiter was the worst I have ever had. Our food came no condiments by the time he brought us the condiments 15 minutes later the food was cold. When we ordered another round of drinks he would stop to chat with the people at the other table and 15 minutes later he would walk by us and we'd have to tell him we order drinks again. We got up to go to the restroom told him we would be back left a note on the table saying be right back he gave our table to another couple that already had a table but they wanted a better seat.
Every time we now go to angel stadium we eat and enjoy the game at Saint Archers. They have a very good selection of beer and it is priced within $2.00 of the stadium beer. Food is better then stadium and served to you by very happy waiters and waitress. It is a great place to watch the game and enjoy some nice food without walking over people to your small seat. If you do go ask for NICK. he is a great waiter while there.
A great selection of up-scale pub food. Portions are plentiful, and food is hot when served. Because they serve in seatings (one dining room full and then 2 hours later the dining room is filled again) it is difficult for the servers to get to everyone at the same time. They do a great job of getting drinks out so you are not just sitting there. Oh, by the way, did I mention you have a terrific view of the ball game, and if you choose outdoor seating, you also get the sounds and excitement of the game. Give it a try. You'll love it.
This was my first time dining here since the name was changed from "The Knothole Club." The menu was a bit different, but everything was delicious! I highly reccomend the Philly Cheesesteak and Blueberry Funnel Cake. The Nachos appetizer was very tasty, as well. However, just be aware it's not a super large Nachos plate like you might be expecting. It was more of a gourmet type Nachos with mini tostadas as the chips. Harder to share with a group of people, but delicious and perfect for 2!
Reset in the outdoor patio and had a great time watching the game. The food and service were excellent. I would ask that they create a cocktail menu because I don't care for craft beers. I am a Apple ale fan but Crispin is the worst of all of them. It taste like champagne. I would be much happier if they carried Angry Orchard, Reds , Woodchuck, or Strongbow
Everything was good except our server. We asked if we could get a table one row above us to get us out of direct sunshine but she was un empathic, saying those tables were for parties of four. None were filled. Later we saw a few tables with just two patrons. But the real insult was she ignored us most of the night!! We just basic service.
Service was quick and our server was friendly. The carne asada nachos were amazing! The only thing that was a slight bummer was the glare off the stainless steel tables on the lower patio. We sat on the upper patio and the reflection was almost unbearable when looking towards the field.
As a season seat holder on the Club level I have eaten at this place numerous times. The last couple of years as The Knothole Club the food was terrible & the service worse. It was simply not managed well. As Saint Archer the experience is terrific. The food is great & the service excellent. I am a huge fan of Saint Archer beer so I love the beer selection. Visited with my son, daughter-in-law, & 3 month old granddaughter this week. The hostess & wait staff were very accommodating. Had the pretzel, jidori chicken, chicken sandwich, & wings. All were delicious. Thanks much for making the changes.
Brittany was by far the best server I have ever had at St. Archers. A pleasant smile, friendly and attentive. As usual those serving other tables taking orders or delivering food had no indication they wanted to be there besides occasional smiles or chuckles amongst each other. Certainly not for their jobs or their customers. As always something had to sent back.... wedge potatoes uncooked and hard on inside burnt on the outside. Thank you Brittany you made the visit pleasurable despite everything else! You are a rockstar and should be the example!
Another Fantastic Experience @ Saint Archer Pub = Food Was Great & Service Was Outstanding As Always = Big Shout-Out To The Angels Stadium Staff Who Assisted By Handicap Buddy = Looking Forward To Enjoying Today's Game @ Saint Archer & The Big "A"

Been three times and the first 2 times were great. last time the service was horrible. No drinks for over 20 min and but waiter keep saying he was getting it. Food was so-so - waiter never brought napkins but told us many times he was in the process. So for me its 2 out 3 for going back!
Seemed like a great idea for lunch when going to an Angel game. They say you have to arrive early and your table will be given away 15 minutes after game starts. Well we were early and our table wasn't ready until the second inning. Service was slow. Food was good. Took 20 minutes to get check. I won't bring a group back here.
The chicken was so tough you couldn't cut or chew through it. I've had far better at fast food restaurants at much more reasonable prices. Even the salad wasn't edible. On top of that our server disappeared for long stretches at a time. This place was better when it was the Shock Top.
Food was pretty decent for Stadium food, but overpriced for the quality. Hostess was very rude and uninviting. Wait staff was fine, as well. What sold the experience was the view of the field and a decent meal at a stadium before the Angels game. Overall food quality could be improved a little and the service needs a lot of improvement.
