Amazingly creative cocktails and even more incredible brunch cuisine. The Chilaquiles are so unique and done thing everyone should try. I have a hard time ordering anything else even though the other items are amazing as well (French toast and perdita (duck potato and egg casserole).

Only offered outside seating but no heat lamps. Was freezing outside. Service was quick but will only go back here if they offer inside dinning.

Hope this excellent dining spot stays open with so much closures during this pandemic,

This is our 'go to' restaurant when in the area. The guacamole is outstanding! We ordered a pitcher of hibiscus margaritas - very tasty but there was so much ice that it really diluted the drink. The individual drinks are more balanced. The carne asada with potato cakes was our hands down favorite entree - perfectly cooked medium rare steak and to die for potatoes. The tacos were also delicious. We look forward to our next visit!

I've heard about this restaurant for quite a while and finally tried it. The food was much more imaginative than most Mexican restaurants here in OC. Portions were well sized and the food was delicious. Good margarita too. Our waiter was excellent. We'll be back.

Consistently amazing food and great drinks.

A modern mexican restaurant is exactly how I would describe Anepalco. Loved the decor and ambience. Their house margarita is the bomb! The food presentation is outstanding and, although a bit spicy, it was very tasty too!

Staff was nice. We went for the Chilaquiles... sad it was very soggy. Mixed drinks were good.

We have been here many times and never disappointed. The food is first class. By far not your ordinary Mexican food. The ambiance, music and atmosphere is very pleasant. As for service always attentive and professional.

Seated at a table next to the door leading out to the patio. Was a cool night not so we requested to move to a warmer spot within the restraunt. Our request wss honored after a short period of time and we were relocated by the hostess. our server Gabby was very warm, gracious, and hospitable. in actuality the entire staff fantastic in offering us genuine hospitality throughout our dining experience. Food presentation and taste are superb. great value and had an overall great experience. This was my second visit, and look forward to many more .

Good was good. But the place was freezing cold. So our food got cold real quick.

Loved the trendy decor and design of the space. The food all had beautiful presentation, even the appetizers. We loved everything that came out. They had a kids menu option for $10 for kids 10 and under. The 13 year olds did not like the options on the regular menu so that was unfortunately to have the entree cost and them not eat it. I hope to return here again.

I love this restaurant. Service is attentive, drinks are well crafted and the food is always good and inventive. Hosted are company holiday party and everyone enjoyed their meal, drinks and desserts.
Only negative was the music was TOO LOUD. When we asked for it to be lowered, we were told that is how the manager likes it, so no. We couldn't hearour conversations very well.

Go for the food and the drinks.

Anepalco's brunch is awesome! The chilaquiles and divorciados are always on point. Drinks are great too. Everyone is friendly and offer great customer service.

Anepalco is wonderful! The ONLY issue is the noise.....VERY loud, so be ready.

The food was so delicious! I never leave a comment on open table but this place is worth! Juanita was our server and I must say she was THE BEST! I’m coming back again and again and again!! So delicious!!!

The tables are a metal mesh construction and very uncomfortable to rest one's arms on. Our table was outside on the patio and was pleasant but unfortunately, the restaurant is very close to a hospital; during the evening a number of ambulances with sirens and even a Life Flight helicopter landing nearby interrupted the otherwise romantic setting. Nevertheless, the food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. If not for the noise level, I would give this restaurant 5 stars, although it is rather expensive for what you get. One failing I noticed is that they cannot make a blended margarita - only on the rocks...what restaurant with a bar doesn't even have a blender?

The food and drink are always amazing. It’s a prefect little spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We've eaten at Anepalco a dozen times in the past year. The food is always excellent - the chef is very talented and were first introduced by our chef who loves the cuisine.

The service has gotten better over time and is now excellent as well.

This time our enjoyment was not complete because of the sound level - the music was too loud and when we said it was too loud and we would have to sit outside, they let us do that in 90+ degree weather. Sitting on the patio is nice but not when it's that hot. I really can't believe that most guests like the music that loud - it's reminiscent of a habana nightclub kind of loud.

We made a reservation to make certain we could have a table and sit inside. This was very disappointing.

But I would always recommend Anepalco and have for the excellent food and service.

The food was a big let down..
