This is my third visit at Anejo - I think the staff may have had a bad day yesterday. Service was very lackluster last night.
Great food, it was very flavored Mexican food, especially the Tacos. Good atmosphere too, there was a lot of activity if you're eating on the street but there's still seclusion in the dining area.
Amazing service and such good and fresh food.
It was our second visit to Anejo and it was as good as the first if not better. Our waiter was so helpful in accommodating our allergy needs which made the experience relaxing. We will return on our next trip to the city.
We had Alma as our server and she was so pleasant, attentive, and gracious. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We got the bottomless brunch and every time I took a sip, my mimosa was refilled. Absolutely the best bottomless brunch I’ve had in the city ever, and I’ve lived here for 6 years. Can’t recommend enough
Delicious food and amazing spicy margaritas
The service was fantastic. The plating was gorgeous, and the food was pretty delicious too!
The food was all delicious, seriously recommend! Prices are reasonable and menu has something for everyone. The only thing I didn’t love was that the using was so loud I had to yell to talk to everyone at the table and they had to yell too or else you can’t be heard which is fun for a Saturday to just drink at but not if you’re trying to catch up with friends you haven’t seen in like a year.
Very loud. My friend and I had to consistently yell at one another in order to have a conversation. The ambience is cool, but the service is terrible. We had several different servers throughout the night which made it difficult for us to effectively communicate and order. The food was hot but otherwise had no taste. I ordered and it came out in maybe three minutes which is a red flag, considering it was something that had to be cooked. Ordered the salsa combo, and the salsas were just spicy with no taste. The best thing I had was the guacamole. Also, this sour cream sauce thing, which was unbelievably good. Terrible experience but my photos on Snapchat were lit so 🤷🏾♀️
We're a busy restaurant. Sorry for the noise. We have different layers of service to make sure we don't miss anything our guests need. If you found it confusing I apologize but all of our staff are trained to serve the guests the same way so now I'm confused on how its difficult having more than one person willing to help you. Some of our food items take time to cook such as rice & are kept on a steam table well within health code standards. Our food is normally a hit.Sorry you didn't enjoy it.
Brunch was amazing. The French toast and guac are really high quality and the ambiance is great. Only complaint was that the entrees could have had more substance (I.e. more than one egg) but they were very good too. Drinks were great and service was 10/10.
It was amazing! Food & service 10/10
Food took too long. Tacos were not good. Appetizers were avwrage
Came when they opened at 12- this place is AMAZING. So attentive and we came on a Monday so it was only us and we were here for 4 hours because we loved the ambience so much!!! 10/10
food tasted amazing but there’s was very little selection and variety of brunch menu
Staff sucked and service was horrible. Unfriendly waiters who messed up our orders and took forever to come back to our table.
We reserved for outdoor seating, but was seated indoors while there were open tables outside. The appointment was delay for 20 minutes because tables weren't ready. The waiter ignored us twice when we were trying to order. They said unlimited chips and guac but that never happened, and they barely refilled for the bottomless mimosa. The portion of the food was so small it's not worth the price you paid. Would not recommend to my friends.
Emma, Sorry about your recent visit here. Sounds like there were a few things we could've done better. Our brunches do get pretty busy, but making sure our guests are happy is always at the top of the list. I would like to speak to further to try to get you back here for a proper Anejo brunch experience. Benny Ramos GM 212.920.6270
Alma was fantastic. Did need to wait an extra 30 min to get seated which was ridiculous since other parties took too long to leave.
Good service-it began to rain while seated at an outdoor table and the staff was quick to accommodate us and was quick w refills for bottomless brunch
Have been three times in a month. Really good food, great mexian drinks menu, and the interior style is what you would expect for a good Tribeca place - high quality, thougtful design. Good for friends, social work lunches or dinners, or even a family dinner out.
Great atmosphere for a brunch with the ladies or dinner with your partner.
Went for brunch; drinks are good but the actual food they offer is mostly just chips and bread. My entree had two bites of meat and an egg.
Patrick, I apologize that you didn't enjoy the food. Our food is normally a big hit. I will discuss with the chef and find out exactly what went wrong. Please don't let this be a deterrent from you returning. Benny Ramos GM
Outstanding food, Great service….never a disappointment!!
We waited 40 min for two lunch plates when they weren’t that busy.
The waitress was attentive and we were credited for our drinks but it was a failed effort to dine with a client.
I love coming here!! Will be back next week ❤️
The food was meh (outside of the salsa and guacamole combo which was phenomenal & the drinks) but our waiter was really friendly and he helped make the experience that much more enjoyable.
There are only 2 bathrooms to serve a huge restaurant so there is always a line backed up to the staircase. I can't imagine this meets code with all the additional seating they added outside during the pandemic. Restaurants get a pass for slow service these days. We know it's not easy. But when slow service is accompanied by surly wait staff, then there is a problem. For such a popular restaurant with good food, we wish they would do better.
Paul, We are trying. Every day we make adjustments. There isn't much we can do about the restrooms as we do have limited availability to make upgrades such as adding restrooms. We are blessed to be busy, but like every other restaurant, we have a lot of new staff that are still adjusting to the very busy environment. I apologize about the slow service. Benny Ramos GM
Wonderful people and service, very good food, overall very pleasant experience. The music was a bit loud for my taste, but the younger people did not seem to mind it. The guacamole was excellent. We had the various tacos, and share them.
We loved this place! The food was delicious and there was a fun vibe on a Thursday after work. The manager was fantastic. He accommodated us with our seating request and made the visit memorable.
The food was bad. Either lacked flavor or wasn’t tasty
Sorry you didn't enjoy the food. Our flavors are usually spot on. I will speak to the chef to ensure all ingredients were properly prepped that day. Benny Ramos GM
The food was not great and we were sat outside with no fan and it was incredibly hot.
Volkan, Our structures are covered & sidewalk tables have umbrellas. Unfortunately there is little we can do during a heat wave. It was 95 degrees outside. I'm sure the host would've accommodated and found you a spot inside you if you had asked. Anyone who was outside that day was not comfortable. I'm sure that added to your experience. Is 1 star really appropriate because you were not being fanned while you ate? Call me if you'd like to talk about it. Benny Ramos GM benny@anejorestaurant
this is the ultimate NYC brunch, value, atmosphere, vibe, everything, it's a must do!
Bruch is $47 totally worth it!! Unlimited drinks and delish food 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Definitely do the bottomless brunch! Drinks are great, wish they had more entree options.
super great restaurant with amazing food and drinks
The bottomless brunch was delicious and a great deal. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining areas and I've really enjoyed going for brunch and dinner.
The food and drinks were great. A little pricey but worth it for a fun night.
Brunch was so fun the bottomless was truly bottomless!! I never saw even the middle of my glass. The menu is small for bottomless brunch but the food is delicious (and the guac is amazing). 10/10 would recommend for boozy brunch
Good food though tends to be on the rich, oily side (eg the rice and beans were swimming in oil). Unfortunately the outside tables on a Thursday night were *incredibly* noisy, impossible to hear my dinner partner. I recommend the Margarita flight
My friends and I loved sitting outside & having our skinny margaritas and yummy tacos. Finished off with churros & good laughs. Will return again✔️
