Service was great and the food was absolutely phenominal! Little pricey but it's traditionally made food and worth it!
Excellent food and service. Really enjoyed our quiet early evening meal with a variety of Lebanese dishes. Simple decor, and very warm and friendly!
It is wonderful to have authentic food that is family style and fills your heart and soul. I also think it is a great opportunity to support our neighbors of all cultures and traditions.
We loved it and met some new friends.
The food was sensational. Very big potions. You have to try an appetizer, baklava and Lebanese coffee. You will want to return. Family owned and run warmth. They will invite you to come back and see them soon.
Great restaurant. Not a lot of people there but loud music in background. Food was excellent!
Mediterranean restaurant as advertised. Food was fresh and tasty. Service prompt.
Food delicious, all homemade and authentic. Server inexperienced and couldn't answer any questions.
Hands down, this was the the best Middle Eastern food we’ve ever had! My husband is Lebanese so we have had a lot of Middle Eastern food. The tabouleh was better than my mother in laws. We got the super appetizer which was a fantastic variety with a nice size sampling of all the appetizers. The chicken with mushroom and onions was so yummy. The portion sizes were huge so we enjoyed the leftovers the next day!
Andy and his wife gave us superb service and were so nice and welcoming.
I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely come back.
Food was good and the service was great. The belly dancer was not a +. Neither my wife nor I was interested and the music was louder during her performance. Unfortunately, that was most of the time we were there. That was not a deal breaker though. It was the cost. We paid $80+ for an app and 2 meals, 2 drinks and 2 desserts. We could have paid 1/2 that for the same quality.
I called the next day to see if the staff found an item that I may have dropped during our dinner. No one ever called me back.
We dined there for the first time on NYE. The place is quaint. There is a belly dancer, which is fun, but the food is OK. I thought it was a little expensive but it was NYE... I'm not sure we'd go back but who knows.
Lamb shank was beautiful, flavor of chicken was wonderful, but, for third trip in a row every skewer was massively over cooked. Chicken would have been wonderful but was far to dry, the ground beef skewer was cooked beyond being edible...shame. Someone needs to master kabob cooking and teach the entire staff especially since skewers are the star of the menu.
Had a meal before going to see a play. Dinner was relaxing. Loved my gyro salad and the baba ghannouj was my absolute favorite.
Fabulous! Couldn't have enjoyed my experience more. The mushroom saute' and the cabbage rolls are both outstanding. Cincinnati needs to support this place.
I wish I lived in Cincinnati so I could dine at Andy's more often.
Our server could not have been more accommodating or friendly. The food was superb; both fresh and flavorful, seemed as if everything was made from scratch onsite. Every aspect of our experience there was extremely positive.
Cincinnati, please support this gem.
We had a great time eating with friends before our Pkayhouse in the Park show. Our friends were vegetarian, so we were looking for ideas and Andy's food choices worked out well for all in our party!
The gyro meat was like steak ums if anybody remembers those.
Presliced and horrible, barely hot and overwhelmed by the huge pita wrap.
If you can't get this right in a Mediterranean restaurant you need to close up shop.
Salad had no flavor whatsoever
They gave us a free baklava but it tasted like it had been baked quite a while ago
The only good things were the fries and the hummus
This place needs a new take on everything.
We were two of eight people in the entire restaurant
We won't go back and you shouldn't go either.
My daughter wanted to go to Andy's before she moved Out of town. The sampler platter was good although the falafel was very dry. We had children with us. The menu listed cheese pizza ; it is not cheese pizza it's a piece of flat bread with some cheese on it. Two of the children refused to eat it. The wraps include pickles, which was unexpected and one person in our party wouldn't eat her wrap. The baklava was extremely dry. Overall, disappointed.
There were only the 3 of us and one other couple in the whole restaurant! The appetizers were quite good, the main courses adequate, the desert must have been 2 weeks old and kept in a closet. The neighborhood is frightfully at night. It should be taken off the open table list.
For some reason the place was dead. The wait staff took care of us and the food was great.
I am not sure when, but Andy's changed their menu and eliminated many (if not most) of their dishes and raised their prices. While the food tasted great, I felt the portions were smaller and it was expensive relative to what we got. I did not complain and the service was attentive, however I don't see myself going back anytime soon. It is really disappointing to say, because Andy's used to be a favorite to celebrate special occasions.
This was our first visit in quite a while to Andy's. We LOVED the chicken kabobs, although we would have liked an option for a veggie and chicken combination. They were very accommodating at letting us add a veggie kabob. They have several (15+?) local draft beers on tap as well, so that was a surprise/bonus for us. The prices are somewhat expensive ($22 for 4 shish-kabobs), but I did have enough for left-overs/take home.
We often dine at Andy's after a performance at Playhouse in the Park. I'm not sure if it is a menu regular, but I had the Shrimp Sauté for the first timeand it was wonderful. Plenty of good sized shrimp , a great selection of veggies in a lemony sauce and good rice. I had enough left over for lunch for two of us!
We started with olives and tabouli, both of which were large portions.
Their tiramisu was very good--again, leftovers.
We always enjoy our meal at Andy's.
Loved it - we had really good food and amazing service. Took a work group with people from 5 different countries and everyone liked it.
Have been here several times in past. The food is good and authentic. Our service was excellent. The belly dancer was upgraded since our last visit.
Jumbo Sampler was delish! Wine is pretty pricey but they do a good pour on a single glass. We were the only people in the whole restaurant. The food is very authentic and delish. The man that waited on us was not very friendly but he got us what we needed so I guess he was efficient. No smiles or warm welcoming feelings but we enjoyed the visit!
Attended with friends who frequent the restaurant. Was looking forward to the grilled meats and would have enjoyed more if meats less done.
My husband and I came here on a date night to have dinner before a show at Playhouse in the Park. Despite being long-time Cincinnati residents, we'd never been to Andy's before. Well, we loved it!!! The service was wonderful, the food was fantastic, and it felt like something 'different' from our normal nights out. The hummus appetizer was the best hummus we've ever had, and the Greek Salad and Falafel Wrap were both out of this world. Try the Turkish beer for a great alternative to the craft brew scene - this beer just tastes like Europe. We keep talking about how we can't wait to go back, and how we feel it'd be a great choice for our whole family too, not just a date night. Can't wait for our next meal here!!
our meal was exceptional... friendly service ...punctual ... reasonable in price ... highly recommend this restaurant
Food was very good, service was great/friendly. Ambiance was average, seemingly casual despite a rather expensive menu. Not a bad experience but it did not leave me with a desire to return.
The food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect for a girls' night out before the theatre.
Bad choice for a business meal. One of the waiters was watching a video on his phone and it was quite loud. The table beside us had a bottle of windex and rags on it the whole dinner!
Both food and service were very good. A little noisy with unruly kids but other than that as we expected.
Weeknight dinner to meetup with friends......casual atmosphere, quiet enough to carry on conversation....attentive, friendly server......sat close to fireplace....nice, cozy atmosphere....ordered Morrocan Shawarma....very tasty.....will definitely go there again!
The food was great. Our server Mark was excellent. We will definatly go back.
I would ask for house salad with less dressing - the lettuce was swimming
Andy's is our go to place for celebrating birthdays with kids in tow! The food is outstanding, our server was fantastic, we had lots of fun! Very kid friendly! Always awesome!
Great fresh humus, Davis's lamb burgers & Greek pizza w/ Shwarma
Has potential but food was underwhelming and not a good value.
The food was great. We shared a hummus appetizer. Then she had the (half) chicken kabobs while I opted for lamb. Both were seasoned and prepared nicely. The hummus had enough for a meal at home later. The kabobs were well presented on a bed of rice. We also shared a baklava. Paying the bill was odd (change wasn't brought then no $1's to increase the tip) but overall a good experience. I'd both recommend and return. I was surprised only three other tables were filled while we were there. I'd also heard there was belly dancing but maybe 8p on Saturday was too early?
