Andy's Live Fire Grill
Great service and food. Never had a something I didn’t love.
Great place. Excellent food, good drinks, friendly waiters! A definite must try!!!
Excellent server Vanessa!
Loved dining upstairs.
Oh, and the margaritas are outstanding!
Great food to share and enjoy at a great value
We were there with friends for lunch . The food and service were very good. I had the warm beet salad and is was delicious. My friend had the catch of the day (swordfish) and said it was fresh and cooked perfectly. The music was very loud. We asked the waitress if she could lower the music and she did. I think it is worth the price and the quality of food is very good. Try it.
Travis was a fabulous waiter. His suggestions were great. The chicken pot pie was beyond amazing—-four of us could have shared one.
Yes, loved the food and the rooftop is great for dining as well!
this is the best casual food restaurant in south florida by a country mile. the clams casino and black bean soup were two of the best iterations of those dishes that i have ever had. the farro salad and everything else were incredible. this restaurant is not to be missed.
First time eating at Andy’s Live Fire Grill. Food, ambience and service fantastic.
Love the food and the place but the live music was way too loud.
Top both all around ... the food is EXCEPTIONAL... 10 of us enjoyed every single appetizer and entree... a must try.
Great place for all occasions. From fresh oysters to salads to burgers and full entre items like steak, pork chops and fresh seafood, Andy's never disappoints.
Took a party of 8 for dinner before theater at Broward County Performing Arts Center. Server mindful of time so we could get to show on time, excellent food and service, we'll definitely go back.
The best fish and chips I’ve ever had in So Fla. Service timing was a bit off but very courteous. I’m eager to return and try more from their great menu.
Enjoyed the evening but too loud. Nice menu. Wine selection small but adequate.
Great food!! Recommend the pork chops. The live music on the roof top made the perfect ambience
Hidden gem must try food is outstanding quiet downstairs very energetic upstairs with live band
Second recent visit and the same great experience! Warm and attentive servers with excellent food. We loved the lobster guacamole, Cesar salad, grilled grouper and the swordfish special today. Last time we had sweet fresh Canadian oysters, yummy ribs and sliders. Well done!
We really enjoyed Andy’s and we will be back
Ate upstairs beautiful night. Noise from US 1 a bit distracting but it is part of the ambiance. Food very good large portions. Rib appetizer enough for a full meal. Wedge salad plenty to be shared by two. Not extensive but a reasonable wine list. Server friendly and live music nice plus.
Food was overpriced and not worth the money. Artichokes were dry and tasteless except for the garlic butter lavishly spread on. Hamburger was ok. Fries were good. Other dishes included a beet salad barely dressed and not tasty a wedge salad over dressed but tasty and chicken served on a platter that burned your fingers when touched was ok but not great. Manager came by and when we complained about the artichokes dud nothing at all. Staff was friendly. I wanted to love the place but menu needs to be revamped and priced down I love Runway 84 and Anthony’s Coal Fired but not this one
Great find during our stop over for vacation. Food was great and service was excellent. Nice outside seating upstairs.
Took prospective clients for lunch. Service was amazing and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend Andy’s Live Fire Grill
Great food, service and value! A model restaurant for comfort food.
Very good. Anthony runs a tight ship!
Excellent overall. Our first visit as we live in Oregon
The pork shank was top tier. Grouper was fresh and tasty.
Clams casino with bacon was great as they were not chopped.
Artichokes were a treat.
My first dinning experience at Andy's Live Fire Grill was a great one. Thankfully I made a reservation because the restaurant was busy. Great energy! I had the yellow snapper with grilled vegetables and it was delicious. The waitress made a few recommendations for dinner and my entire party of 4 had a wonderful experience.
I will definitely be returning to Andy's....
This is definitely a place to go for a great burger. The swordfish special was fantastic too. The live music upstairs was fun with a good genre.
Back again! Enjoyed my first visit to Andy's with a friend. Had to bring my husband back for the fun and yummy menu selections. Great shrimp creole style, guacamole with lobster, farro salad and sundried tomato hummus. Loved everything. No room for dessert...next time!
Our server Travis was awesome. So friendly and very knowledgeable about the restaurant and menu. Next visit we would like to sit upstairs
Clams Casino are fresh and delicious tasting. Love them! Went specifically for the Porchetta special Wednesday night. As the flavor profiles were very tasty with tomatoes, herbs, onions, garlic, the dish was very fatty and not a ton of meat. I've had Porchetta in Italy and it was very different. I have noticed with a couple visits here, that most of their dishes are done very differently than you'd usually see them. They surely have their own take on things. They did come around with samples of a new appetizer they're testing. It was a Soy Curried Deviled Egg and IT was delicious. Husband ordered the Chimichurri Steak ( med.rare) and it came out well done. Had to send it back. Waiter was gracious and it was handled immediately. Rooftop patio is lovely and has a nice breeze. It is very loud from the street right below , though. There was a DJ the night we were there so it drowned out some of it. DJ played music at a very tolerable level. It was fine.
What a great surprise. Tried Andy's for the first time last night. The menu selections were great. Lots of healthy delicious choices. We ordered the Lobster Guacamole appetizer and I cannot wait to return for that. The salads were excellent and portioned generously.
We arrived at a party downstairs with great music. We were not guests but got to enjoy live music. We met lots of local friends and neighbors. Obviously, Andy's already has a following. Planning to return this weekend when there is live music upstairs.
So excited to have another great local place. Ft Lauderdale is blessed with super restaurants and entertainment. Andy's is now at the top of my list.
upstairs patio ambiance was wonderful, food delicious and the music level was perfect!
Very nicely upgraded! Fun place. Grilled grouper & veggies was amazing. Also had the Mac & cheese very good.
Husband had steak and black pepper mashed potatoes which he loved! Heather very attentive and the staff was amazing
Went at 715 and they were out of the ribs ?? The rest of the meal was good.
Food was great. Drinks were great. The restaurant looks beautiful. The only negative is the service. They were way too overattentive. Took our plates away before we finished eating and constantly kept interrupting to check on us.
We were anxious to see what had become of the venerable Ernie's so we made reservations for a Friday dinner at 7pm. Valet parking worked well, although not a free service. Total transformation inside! Lovely contemporary decor. Decent service. Inconsistent food. Grilled oysters were good, seafood chowder o.k. Yellowtail snapper was delish but the accompanying grilled vegetables were terribly undercooked. Enjoyed a $28 pinot noir. But the noise!!! Aye yi yi! Had to yell at my bride to be heard! Conversation, nyet. Server suggested "upstairs" might be a better choice. We wanted to check it out. Tried to use the elevator( we are in our 70's with the attendant knee issues) but were told it was out of service. After 11 weeks? Trudged up the stairs. Again, excessively noisy. Decent value but until they improve the acoustics we probably won't return.
Everything we had was good starting with our server then hummus with crackers (yum), oysters from Maine, shrimp cocktail with horseradish, tender pork shank, flavorful skirt steak, roasted garlic grouper with amazing risotto and rib eye steak. Visited the upstairs open bar/table area which was nice but we missed the live entertainment which ended at 10 pm. Will definitely come back again.
In town for just one night we chose Andy's for its location and menu. Three adults and one fussy 7-year old. Sadly, there isn't a kids menu at Andy's so we had to order a full sized cheeseburger plate and leave half as it was just too much food for the 7-year old. He also wanted some mac and cheese and the only option was the large "sharable" size. It was far too much for the child so over half went uneaten and wasted. A shame. Our waiter took our order and my husband clearly ordered "sweet tea". The tea that was delivered was unsweet tea. When we questioned the waiter he said they don't serve sweet tea. Perhaps that should have been mentioned when the order was given? The order of ribs was tasty. The cheeseburgers were delicious, hot and home style. Very pleasing. The order of short ribs with noodles was also very tasty. I also ordered a side of kale and brussels sprouts. I would have reminded the waiter of the omission but he didn't return to our table to check on our order until my meal was fully finished and by then I didn't want the vegetables. He said he would take them off my bill and he did, as he should have. The waiter failed to come to our table so our drinks ran dry and I was unable to order a second beer, a loss for the restaurant. Overall the food was very good but the lack of a kids menu and the lackluster service hurt our overall experience.
Great for big group. Server was very attentive without being obnoxious. Only complaint is that the temperature is just barely above artic level. I have been to Andy's four or five times and love the place. But it's simply too cold to enjoy. EVERYONE in the restaurant was complaining, but it still remained freezing. Upstairs is comfortable, but for curly haired girls, too humid. Adust the downstairs temperature and you get *.
