Andy's Bistro Ratings and Reviews
My wife and I were very pleased to discover Andy's Bistro. We tried the colossal crab cocktail and cowboy ribeye (we dined on a Friday evening- Cowboy is only available on Fri and Sat) and both were exceptional. We also had a wonderful Pinot Noir and cheesecake for dessert. We also dined outside, which was a wonderful experience.
Great find!! Food was delicious. Service was great... especially Brook our waitress!!! We had a great time, dinner was fabulous!! My husbayhad The burger, I had the porkchop.. cooked to perfection & we shared an app.... lump crabmeat that was delicious!! We will definitely return. Keep up with the great food & service!!!!
The food was amazing. The steak was one of the best filets we've ever had. The bartender was extremely friendly and helped come up with a great solution for the wine we were looking for that night. We also tried the lamb chops from the small plates and they were tender, juicy and had perfect flavor. Would highly recommend this hidden jewel to anyone looking for a great meal at a local establishment.
Last minute reservation on Open Table, needed a place on the way home from the airport - Lamb flatbread appetizer was delicious, salads were fresh and crisp. Veal was seasoned just right jumbo shrimp were awesome. Key lime tart and cheesecake desserts were a perfect finish - Dave our server was awesome too.
We love eating at Andy's. it is convenient, very comfortable dining room, the staff is friendly and very good, and the food is always terrific. My wife and I did a Saturday night date night. We had a cocktail and crabmeat napoleon to start, then my first steak Andy's. I ordered a ribeye and wifey had a filet. Blew me away! I honestly think it may been the best ribeye I have ever had. Perfectly cooked but the texture and quality were both amazing. Aaaand I have a little leftover to to toss an egg on this morning👍. Wife's also raved about her filet. Beautiful cut nice and thick, but also cooked perfectly
Hidden Gem off of Vets, we were wonderfully surprised by the quality of the food, attentive service and expertly prepared cocktails - I had a rye old fashioned and it was perfect, not too sweet. The lamb flatbread was spectacular, huge portion - excellent value. Get the bacon appetizer, the dipping sauce is delicious. We will definitely be back!
I'm not one to usually complain on great flavored food, but I must say that I feel I need to say a little something. So we started off with the roasted oyster which I thought was great, but was not expecting pimento cheese. Like I said, I liked it, but some may not. The shrimp ravioli was excellent. The wedge salad was also excellent. On to the main coarse. We had two veal dishes which had great flavor, loved the pasta with it. But when you look at the next table and see a pile of crab meat on their veal and look at yours and can barely tell that crab meat is in your sauce. That sucks! My aunts veal also had barely a hint of crab meat. So little crab meat that I wouldn't advertise that it had crab meat. Maybe crab flavored sauce. On to the next dish. My wife had the redfish on the shell. Loved the rosemary butter on the fish. Now I understand if you find a few bones in redfish, I've cleaned my fair share of fish. The fish was thick, so you can tell the piece came from a larger slab of fish. But we pulled out at least 15 large bones. Not fun pushing your tongue through hot fish to push large bones out. You should run your hands across the fish before cooking to feel for large bones. My mother had the fillet which was excellent. I have to say the steak was cooked to perfection. On to dessert. We had two key lime pies. Would definitely get it again and I'm not big on key lime pies. Very light lime flavored! Also order the chocolate cake. Some people may like, but I wasn't a fan. I'm a chocolate lover and this dish just did not do it for me. I have to have my chocolate!!! And one pet peeve I have, is no prices with desserts. Especially when u get the bill and see a whopping $18 bucks. If the cake is gonna be close to $20 bucks, mention it. I would have passed on $18 dollar cake. Granted the whole table could have ate off of it. I think that sums it up. I will definitely try this place again, but different dishes.
This was our first time dining at Andy's. I was not impressed with the food. We ordered the oyster appetizer and the cheese topping was so salty it was almost inedible. Also, the oysters were milky & served room temperature. My husband ordered the pork chop which was so so and also very salty. The location is great and I would like them to do well, however, the food will have to improve a good bit. Our waitress did a great job.
