Visit Andy's Bistro when you need to "LIFT YOUR SPIRITS."
The variety of appetizers is wonderful. Entrees are always delicious and prepared just right.
Great restaurant. Food and service is consistently good. Try the scallops if you order the decadent chocolate cake. It is HUGE, enough for 3-4 people
Excellent food! The wait staff needs a little refinement -- brought the salad well before the appetizer was finished and was slow clearing the table. Brought main courses with dishes still on the table. Overall a good experience however! Recommend Andy's!
Phenomenal experience! Everyone was so friendly and the food was incredible!!! Was the perfect date night!
Excellent bistro with delicious food. Great variety on the menu, and high quality ingredients. It’s a “go to” place
We had a great experience at Andy’s Bistro. My son specifically requested Andy’s for his 8th birthday because he loves the restaurant. We were seated before 6pm and were able to order from the prix-fix menu which is a great deal. We all ordered the petite filet which was grilled perfectly.... rare plus. The owner surprised my son with a complimentary 5-layer chocolate cake which could literally feed 6 people. This made his birthday weekend. The service was great and very friendly. Thank you to the staff and to Joe for making this night special for our son!
I just did not care for the dish I ordered.
Always enjoy this place! Food is delicious, service is wonderful, clean, great ambiance for a party or date night.
Onion rings / bacon / tar tar / steaks were very good
Scallops were sent back due to having a strong burnt taste ( grill marks )
Waiter was mediocre and not very attentive
Service was great !
I made reservations through OT after looking for a convenient place to have dinner with family. It’s hard to believe that we had never been to Andy’s.
We were seated promptly. Our server, Amanda, approached our table quickly. When the rest of our party arrived, she approached, took drink orders and returned with drinks in a reasonable time.
Our orders were simple, a wedge salad (very good and large portion easily shared), grilled oysters. Main courses were Andy’s Hamburger, Flatbread, Pork Chop Milanese and Mac n’ Cheese. The hamburger, flatbread and pork chop were served at the same time; the Mac n’ cheese came when we were all finished w our entrees. Amanda most probably forgot to put the order for Mac n’ cheese in. We had to ask repeatedly for it and waited an unreasonable amount of time for it to served. No apologies were forthcoming.
The food is overpriced; $200 for 4 people and not exceptional. Sadly, we will not dine at Andy’s again. In the city of NO, a $200 meal at a neighborhood restaurant should be a “wow”.
Great experience!! Just a bit upset that they are no longer serving lunch!! Wish they would’ve continued that!!
Great weekday early dinner special! Double-cut pork chop was cooked perfectly and delicious. Nice atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend!
If the worst thing there is to say about Andy's is that that linen tablecloths have disappeared, then any diner is doing very well.
We made an open table reservation, and were promptly seated. Ronnie, our server, was delightful, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Andy's has a decent wine list, and we found an agreeable glass of chardonnay.
We quickly received complimentary warm bread and butter.
We decided to split an app, which was a good call, considering the size of the meatballs, served with marinara and ricotta cheese. The garlic and flavor was reminiscent of Mosca's.
We each got a bowl of chicken and andouille gumbo, chock full of meat, and with that wonderful latent heat in the excellent dark roux, that says seasoning, not cayenne cover.
For entrees, wife got the shrimp scampi over spaghetti, very tasty and nicely presented, the only knock being only five shrimp. I got the special, Alaska wild-caught salmon over the wood fired asparagus. It had a wonderfully flavored crust and was perfectly presented and perfectly cooked to order.
We were stuffed and bypassed dessert, but maybe next trip.
Andy's has their own well-lit parking lot as well, and just a few steps to the door, or you can drop off in the rain.
Andy’s serves one of the best filets in the area and at a reasonable price. The early special is a great bargain. The pork chop is also outstanding and the wedge salad is delicious! It’s a neighborhood restaurant with superior food!
Went to Andy's for my son's 25th birthday. I had been there about 1.5 yrs ago and had a wonderful meal. Started with chargrilled oysters, very good, and onion strings, just ok. Our entrees were varied and ok... chicken, eggplant rollatini, veal and shrimp scampi. I will say the red gravy was good. For dessert we all split a key lime pie slice which was tasty.
Here's where I tell about how I felt about my experience. Our waitress continually rushed us... to place our order, to pick up our dishes, etc. Before picking our dessert, I asked her how they all were and she said, Oh they're good. I asked her which ones were more popular and she said they're all about the same. When our dessert came out, she dropped it off and left. We passed the pie around and alternated taking bites, no plates! Our bill would have been $200 but I shorted the tip to 10%. I think she was having an off-night or needs to be retrained. I felt like I was eating at a cafeteria and she was waiting for a casino bus to drop off 50 people to dine and she'd ask us to leave!!!
Everything we ordered was tops.
The wait staff was amazing! We enjoyed our small plates . We had onion rings and bacon. I enjoyed my lamb, which was a small plate that I had for dinner. My parents however weren’t as lucky . Our main meals were not good:-(
My husband and I had our monthly date night at Andy’s and we are so happy that we did! We will be coming back!
We enjoyed ourselves and the meal. I think our server was new because he needed a little guidance here and there. No mint for Mojitos! :-( I certainly recommend it.
It was our first time eating at Andy’s Bistro and we were very impressed. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it
Great food. A bit pricey for the area, but would definitely go back!
We have been to Andy’s many, many times. This time we took our neighbor who we love dearly for her first time. She totally enjoyed herself and said she’s going to bring her group of lady friends so they can check it out too! Had a great evening!!
Persephone was an awesome server and food was delish !!! Great 3 course value for $29 !!!
The Prime Beef Ribeye did not have the quality you would expect from a Prime cut. We had the baked oysters appetizer which was ok. Their homemade bread was actually very good. The worst part of the this dining experience besides the high prices for “prime” steaks, all 3 of us got sick. We were not pleased with the experience.
Loved celebrating my birthday lunch with my family
Waiter was excellent as was the food
Only thing was we felt bad bc our reservation was for 3:00 and that’s actually when they close
maybe make last one for 2:00 just a suggestion
The service was ok. We asked our waiter for bread and he never brought it. We also asked to have our leftovers bagged and he threw out the French fries that came with the hamburger. We were also seated next to a long table of very loaf people. It wasn’t the most relaxing meal
Food and service is consistently excellent! Great, friendly waitstaff. One suggestion, though. Last week my friend ordered his steak very well done and it was not, and this week another friend ordered his steak medium rare and it was over cooked. (Mine was cooked perfectly!). So, please be careful when preparing steaks to your patrons’ liking. Thanks!
I would have given 5 stars on the food except my baked potato was cold and not cooked all the way. The grilled oysters were also not the best. The cheese on them was more like the cheese you get from a box of macaroni. The steak was excellent. The waiter was also excellent. As a side note it would be nice to include a salad with a steak meal. The menu said the rib eye was $44 and you had a few choices for 1 side. I ordered the potato but when the bill came the amount was higher than expected. Not significant enough to question, but still puzzling. Seemed like they were charging for the potato even though it was supposedly one of the options as a side.
I say that I'd recommend this restaurant, but it wouldn't be a top recommendation. The service was good, atmosphere above average and overall the food was good. Only problem was that the steak I got wasn't great and I did expect it to be since this is considered a steak house.
Austin is an excellent server. Whole fish *does* have bones. Must get the grilled cauliflower--even if you do not cauliflower.
Great Birthday Dinner with GF. Food and Service was outstanding and definitely will return.
Andy’s Bistro continues to consistently provide excellent meals. Their filet sizzling in butter is my favorite! Other family favorites are the pork and their yummy hamburger. I am delighted they are now open for lunch several days a week!
I write this with a heavy heart as Andy's is my wife's FAVORITE restaurant whether it is for a happy hour martini or a business dinner recently. In fact, my wife and her siblings had their parent's 50th anniversary party upstairs in the private banquet area but Saturday night's dinner for our 25th was just not good. My wife had ribeye for, I believe, $42 and she ate a few bites. It was not marbelized at all. It was full of fat and gristle. I kid you not, we brought it home (since we didn't get another steak) and my 2 dogs did not even touch it. My prime rib had a terrific smoked taste to it but it was dripping blood. It was so rare that it was terribly chewy like taffy. For veggies, since we are both doing low carb, we were only offered green beans, green beans, or green beans instead of a loaded bake potato. Sorry, we typically LOVE Andy's but our bar bill + dinner was about $200 and this was far from a $200 meal. You need to know about this experience as we have spent thousands of dollars here over the past few years and we were sorely disappointed.
We always enjoy coming here. Great atmosphere & food & service. Excellent place & always accommodating.
Ashley, the bartender and Joe the manager are awesome.
A great to visit, the food was very good and hot. Service was great and never asked for anything.
Amazing food and service. Me and my wife had the oysters and steak 👌🏾
We went for Mother’s Day. My mom was very excited. Everything was delicious. The only thing was they did not have their full menu on this day. I wish I would have known that in advance. Next time I will ask.
