World renowned Pitmaster, Andy Annat, opened his first restaurant at the Blues Bar in November 2015. In this short time, his food has become a big hit both locally and nationally with menus inspired from live fire cooking in over 33 countries.

This new and exciting dining style offers succulent meat and fish dishes, vegetarian options and delicious desserts, all freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients.

To add to the extensive choice on our menu"s, we also offer sharing platters for two or more. Uniquely different, we are sure you won't be disappointed.

Our restaurant is designed around sharing booth seating that allows for friendly gatherings, is perfect for informal corporate dining and can be booked for private parties of 30 or more.

With over 20 years experience, we have a well deserved reputation for creating gourmet dishes from the barbecue, live fire and spit roast ovens and serving you with style. Our menus cover everything from canapes and starters to set menus & a la carte and can be individually tailored to your requirements. We guarantee 100% customer satisfaction and strive to exceed your expectations no matter the location or how large or small your event.

We are happy to book out the restaurant for private parties with a guaranteed minimum 30 guests. This will allow you exclusive use of the Green Room for the entirety of your event. You can choose your dining style from table service to sharing boards. The food will need to be booked in advance.A deposit will also be required to secure your booking.

On street parking is available within the vicinty between the hours of 8am to 6pm, currently at a rate of 70p per half hour up to a maximum of 3 hours. There are also multi-story car parks in the Town centre, at the Conference centre and behind the railway station with a long stay car park in the Montpellier quarter situated behind Montpellier Parade on Crescent Road.
Public transit
The restaurant is a 10 minute walk from Harrogate Railway Station and Harrogate Bus Station, situated on Station Parade in the Town centre,The No.36 Leeds to Harrogate (northbound) bus route has a stop just before Bettys of Harrogate opposite the Cenotaph War Memorial. From here is less than a 2 minute walk to the restaurant.

Amazing meat platter! We had so much meat left over we took it home for a meal the next day, cooked to perfection!

What a great place the drinks were excellent from water, to cocktails, to wine, and gin , etc, The food was awesome, it's just a friendly cool place to eat and drink with exceptional service, highly recommend

We visited on a quiet evening so enjoyed a booth for 2 people. Need to be prepared to share a booth at busier times but this is made clear at time of booking. Great food & music. Will visit again.

This place is fun. The décor is quirky and interesting and the staff are incredibly keen to please. So the atmosphere offers enough to keep you interested right from arrival. We greeted warmly as we arrived but we were the first in the place which meant it was quiet and we were a little apprehensive. Other diners quickly arrived behind us and that nice background noise buzz was established, the booth sitting arrangements are cozy and offers chance to chat, however as we a couple we directed towards the smaller 1/2 booth facing out of the window, nice view and settled quickly. Staff all introduced themselves and were attentive throughout our visit. The menu is very barbeque focussed and we went for a meat and fish feast - not for the faint hearted but we enjoyed the variety of flavours offered and just about finished it. We declined the sweet but a complimentary one with owners compliment arrived anyway - to cleanse the pallet - a good call it worked. We then went downstairs to listen to some music - fabulous evening the two business compliment each other well

The place for a major barbecue blowout - the three tier platter of meat had to be seen to be believed. We did our best but couldn't manage it all - no problem - the remains were bagged up to take away and fed us for the next day too! Great live music in the bar downstairs.
