The last time I was at Andrew’s was 20 years ago with my Parents. I was happy to see that they are still around. The food was as good as I remember. Delicious!

Arrived and indicated I had a reservation through Open Table. The hostess couldn't be bothered to check me in and said "We're not doing Open Table because they are too expensive. I learned that Andews's has changed ownership (we've been regular customers for 12 years, have also gone there for the past two Thanksgivings).

This was like entering a restaurant that we had never been to previously. Not only was the hostess rude, the new owner pranced around seating people without a personality and a scowl on his face. The waitress was extremely nice.

The food was markedly different. Balsamic Dressing was horrible vs previous. The BBQ chicken was dry.
The butter was served in an open dish vs individually wrapped packages. Not very hygienic. Seems the new owner is cutting corners from the get go. This was so disappointing and we feel we'll not return.

Truly this was one of our regular stops and we are disappointed that we walked away with this feeling.

Just being honest.

I ordered a 20 oz Porterhouse Med Rare, they sent me a 16oz T-bone well done. So I sent it back. I did get my 20oz Poterhouse but it was rare. I kept it.

They did the usual, free desert to make up for it. I'm really not complaining, most people would probably give them 1 star for the error, but I look at it as mistakes happen, just fix it, and they did.

From my point of view this is just an average restaurant at best. Not great, not bad, just average.

You can tell it's been there awhile. Nothing bad, just dated on the inside. Regardless of what it looks like, the food was very good. Great family place, you can tell they had a lot of locals. My ONLY gripe, I really wanted barbecue and unfortunately (nothing to do with them) I have a honey allergy and ALL their Barbecue sauces have honey :-( I was really disappointed. Clam chowder was very tasty and the garlic herb chicken could have used a bit more garlic for me. I believe we will return.

Really nice for casual dining. Only issue was the soup had a strange taste. Not my choice of flavor. Service was good and they were able to take us early as we arrived about 25 minutes ahead of our reservation. Would certainly go back.

Andrews is always a pleasant experience. The wait staff is good and friendly. My most favorite dish is the Shrimp DeJonge which is served in a metal casserole and swimming in garlic butter deliciousness. I generally use the garlic butter mixture in a baked potato. This time I decided to try Chicken DeJonghe. Although it was tasty, the preparation was different - no casserole and no swimming in that luscious garlic butter. I was so disappointed because it was not what I anticipated. Perhaps the difference is that shrimp swim and chickens don’t. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will order my beloved rich and awesome Shrimp DeJonge.
