Established in 1985, Andrew Edmunds is considered one of the last bastions of 'old Soho'. This 18th century town house has, for more than thirty years, attracted many loyal customers. A relaxed atmosphere, seasonal menu and famous but reasonably priced wine list have ensured our enduring popularity.

We had a lovely anniversary meal. The food was stunning and the waiters really looked after us. Can't wait to go back!

The staff was very friendly and nice. The prices were fair. Regarding the food, we feel overall that everything was rather oily. The gazpacho was amazing, well balanced and with a truly outstanding complexity, but dressed in more oil that we would have wanted. The crab starter was good, but it was too strong for the whole portion, it really quickly saturates the palate, sadly the radish did not helped to cut through it, also it was overly salted. Both fished were really good. The hake was delicious, specially with the crispy texture on the skin, the peppers and tomatoes were also quite good. However, the amount of oil at the bottom of the plate covering all the vegetables was too much, everything then was drenched in oil, good oil, but oil nevertheless. The bass had a good flavor, I really liked the vegetables, next to it. The side greens were rather underwhelming, we were not warned that it consisted on cooked cabbage (I think), the fact that it was cooked and not leafy or refreshing, or cutting through the other flavors or complimenting them was disappointed. Overall was an ok meal, sadly I had higher expectations, and most certainly I see the potential for so much more.

Very disappointing. The pork was dry and on a pile of out of the bag salad. The monkfish portion was embarrassing small - the size of a golf ball. Yes, I know it’s expensive - but, honestly! The steak was very ordinary and came with some rather sad deep fried potatoes. 2 orders were forgotten and had to be requested. The initial waitress was very nice and friendly. Overall a great disappointment compared to years ago.

Was a little disappointed, they ran out of special appetizer and it was very loud as the tables are so close. Wine list was good.

Excellent food and wine at this intimate setting. The menu was tricky to navigate, because all of the starters sounded amazing! The ingredients are clearly high quality, along with the comprehensive and competitively priced wine list.
