The ambiance was extraordinary, the food options were commendable and delicious, ah and the cocktails... simply amazing!

Excellent service, food and ambiance! Very much worth trying, if you are looking for a vey nice meal for business or for that special person in a classy setting!

My only complaint is I’m positive my reservation required a quiet table AWAY from the kitchen and restrooms, but to my surprise I got a table right next to the restroom entrance. ???

I am a frequent guest for a reason; namely, every experience has been excellent.

The restaurant was a bit quiet for Saturday night but the service and food was excellent.

Given the fact that 1) there were only a few tables occupied at the time, 2) it was the Barclay Theater "Free Appetizer" coupon that introduced us to your restaurant, and 3) two salads and one glass of wine totaling $70 is quite expensive, you would think the service and food quality would have been off the charts, i.e., beyond great... but it wasn't. Far from it. It was a great opportunity for Andrei's to gain another customer. Why go to the effort and expense of coupons to bring in new customers if you're going to "burn" them? Anyway, my wife and I wish we had never received the coupon.

Andrei's was a good find for a business lunch that was close to my prior appointment. Farm to Fork type of restaurant. creative menu with very fresh, seasonal ingredients. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff, good service, good food.

The food was beautifully displayed but okay on flavor. Stake was undercooked and drinks were light on alcohol, but again all items looked photo worthy. Service was fine but nothing amazing. Although I will say the place is beautiful and the bill showed it. Overall I walked out feeling like "meh"

Good solid restaurant. My dining companion and I both had entire salads for lunch meeting. Both were fine--nothing outstanding. Good, central location for a lunch meeting in O.C.

It was pleasant! Easy menu. Casual. Tables are far enough apart that it’s not crazy noisy.

Sat on Patio. It was a bit cool but they turned the heater lamps on for us. Visited during Orange County Restaurant week and for $20, we had a three-course meal. Could choose among three appetizers and three entrees and then they brought dessert ( a small carrot cake with fresh berries), which was very good. My friend and I decided to be adventurous and try new things; so we had the squid appetizer and the mushroom bolognese with carrot ribbons. Both were very tasty. It was just kind of hard to look at the squid...lol. The service was attentive. It was very quiet, as we were the only ones on the patio. Valet parking is complimentary for lunch; $6.00 for dinner. Would like to try it again on a summer evening.

Good food, poor service

Always a great experience! Very happy AGAIN and AGAIN...

This was both me and my boyfriend’s first time at Andrei’s and the entire experience was amazing! The ambiance was perfect for our late Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was delicious, with such great attention to taste. The amount of food was absolutely perfect. It was just enough to fill us up. We ordered the bread pudding dessert and that was honestly the cherry on top to our night. The best part about this experience was our drinks. The bartender was great! I asked for a specialty drink, one that is rare in this area and the bartender nailed it! I’m happy to say this isn’t going to be the last time Andrei’s will see us. We will be making our way back very soon.

Disappointing menu and service for Valentine’s Day... with many choices out there, this restaurant needs to focus on customer service! The patio door was open with cold air coming in... we asked more than once to please close the doors. Value could be better too, the special could include one glass of white, pink or red wine with the meal. I have eaten here many times but this night was not your best. I expected more... we had to ask another waiter to pay our bill as it was getting late.

Went for Valentine’s Day pre fixe dinner. The oyster shooters and lobster dish were really amazing. I’d go back for both anytime. The desserts were just ok. The mousse was the best, the macaroon was stale and the dipped fig tasted like perfume. Service was fine but it did take a while to get a simple water for my daughter. The server came to our table 3 times each time saying “I’ll get that water...” ambience was nice and seating very comfortable. I’d go back especially for those oysters.

Friends in from out of town loved the restaurant!! Food drink all was excellent!!!

Had the chopped salad with salmon on a Monday night. Service was attentive and the food was cooked to perfection.

Great food and yummy signature cocktails. Went as a family and all ordered very different items: burger, steak, kids menu pasta, and I had the vegan GF pasta dish - it was amazing!!!
We will be back!

Andrei's is one of those restaurants I really want to like. The food is great, they change their menu often, and the dining area and bar are lovely. So what's not to like? Consistently, the service. For instance, we'd finished our dinner before the wine that was to accompany it showed up (it was a tough choice--cold fish with wine to wash it down, or a hot meal with no wine?). It would have been more understandable if the restaurant was crowded--but there were hardly any tables filled. Maybe other diners have had similar experiences and are now staying away?

We sadly concluded that it will be a while before we try Andrei's again. My recommendation to them is to hire a really good manager who stays on top of the service situation, both in the restaurant and at the bar (my daughter had a horror story experience with a pre-arranged happy hour group outing a year or so ago--no one would bring them the bill, even after repeated requests!). There's just no excuse for service like that in an otherwise high-quality restaurant.

The service here is always excellent, this business lunch was exceptional! Our waiter was great, a little bit of humor and knowledge of the menu.
