A special meal for sure! We wanted to celebrate our anniversary before all the restaurants in Portland closed. Andina did not disappoint!
Our server was awesome. Food was awesome. Beer selection could have been better.

Plates are lovely and prepared nicely. Service is perfect. Noise was outrageous. Seated near large round table of men, several chose to scream as a means of social dining communication.

One of the two women sitting at the closest table next to us was foul-mouthed constantly swearing. Otherwise a great dinner.

Andina is always great but this time it was outstanding. We had the Paella and it was amazing

If you want to visit during your meal, this is not the best place.
When I make a reservation, I would prefer to be on the main floor. The next time I dine there I will ask, but you may find it appropriate to ask as well.

The food, ambience, and service made the evening very special. Next time we will order twice as much of some of the dishes because my 5-year old granddaughter ate most of the beets. yucca, and prawns all on her own. The servers were very good about advising us quantities and spices. Next time I will take other adults who are more careful about sharing!

what a wonderful treat. Our waiter was super informative and explained the Peruvian dishes precisely. Without it we would have been stumped. The food is not only good but beautifully presented. And, if you have a special occasion, be ready for a treat. We were there at lunch. If dinner, I think reservations would be a must.

It took an hour to receive our food. The waiter was very apologetic, and comped our appetizer. All other patrons seemed to receive their food quickly.

Chef Ray and all the staff were terrific and very professional! The food was delicious, an explosion of falvor - from appetizers to desert!! The ceviche caliente with leche detigre, was FABULOUS! Great atmosphere and time all around. Thank you for a wonderful experience! I highly recommend it.

Excellent ambiance, food and drinks. Service was exceptionally slow taking over an hour to get 4 entrees from the time of our order.

Birthday Dinner - Service and quality of the food was excellent. Really fantastic that there was a vegan/veggie menu also.

Andina has been a favorite place for years when I am in town from Alaska. My brother, a chef, let me know that Andina had a recent poor health review. He then told me things were probably perfect now as restaurants normally work hard to overcome any bad press. So with this knowledge I invited a friend for a nice dinner at Andina. All was fine until my guest found a large piece of red plastic (possibly part of an artificial fingernail) in her soup. We advised our waiter and a manager came by with appropriate concern and all was resolved, as much as possible, in a gracious and professional manner.
Our service was excellent. I have enjoyed dining at Andina's for many years and weathered its steady popularity with a reservation later than desired last Saturday.
I hope this restaurant resolves the issues earlier reported.

Andina is just a great restaurant. We chose to share small plates. Every dish is delicious. The service is over the top! Food comes out quickly and plates are cleared right away. The staff is so friendly and helpful.

We sat downstairs for a bit quieter dinner. Everything was excellent. As a group of 4 we decided to order wine and a wide range of tapas plates. All were wonderful!

One of my favorite places that I always recommend.
Went to Andina, our favorite Portland restaurant, for my birthday. We started with the grilled octopus, which is so delicious and everyone loved it! My wife got the Peruvian version of paella, which was so packed with yummy seafood, I had to try! It had mussels, calamari, fish over a seasoned rice, amazing. I had the braised lamb, which fell off the bone and was so good I had to eat all of the quinoa and vegetables because the sauce was so sumptuous! We finished with the quinoa crusted Peruvian cannelloni, filled with marscapone and served with a wonderful passionfruit sorbet, just delicious! Overall, a fabulous evening and dining experience! Thank you Andina!

A quick trip to Portland landed us at Andina, where we had one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Warm inviting restaurant, impeccable service and fantastic, interesting food. Every course was a stand-out: the Causa Morada starter, seared yellow fin tuna with tacu tacu and Arroz con Mariscos entrees, and finishing with an incredibly delicious dessert special. Highly recommend!

Exceptional on all fronts! Love Peruvian cuisine - lots of gluten free choice. Wonderful interplay of flavours and textures. Arroz con Marisco (Peruvian paella) had more excellent seafood than rice! Highly recommend this restaurant and meal.
