Andiamo Trattoria - Clarkston Ratings and Reviews
Went here for an anniversary and had a great time. Coming here often would be tough because things are a little bit pricy, but for special occasions you can't beat it. Our server was incredible and if you get a bottle of wine and don't finish it, you can take it home! We'll be back for sure.
My family celebrated my mother’s 91st birthday at your restaurant. We are new to Clarkston and had never been to your restaurant. I asked for a quieter area for our table because of my mother’s hearing difficulties. My request was honored and the food was exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I will definitely return.
Normally when I come here the service is better, but I do understand that they were incredibly busy when I went. The pasta was alright, and they had a really nice selection of hot tea. The soup was really good, and the bread basket they gave us was warm and very good. Their deserts are also quite nice! We ordered some sort of espresso mousse cake. This isn't my favorite place to go, but it is a nice place to go once in awhile.
When we arrived we were shown to our table. There were very few people there. As time went on the room right behind us had a big party and the table off to the side had a large group come in. All very noisy. I am sure the hostess knew of the two large group that they put us in the middle of. Our server was good, but we received our entrees much later than the large group that came in after us. Disappointed that we had trouble conversing with friends and our dinners arrived much later than those that came in after.
My boyfriend and I went here on our one year anniversary for a late dinner after I got off work. Our reservation was at 9:30 and there was no wait and there were only a few other people in the restaurant. The hostess was very friendly, our waiter was nice and attentive, we even spoke with the manager who was very kind and understanding. If you go later at night like we did there is a chance they will have thrown away the soup for the day and since I'm not a salad eater they offered to substitute french fries for me at no extra charge which was extremely nice of them since a lot of other places wouldn't let you do that. We both had the chicken piccata and it was excellent. The restaurant is on the pricey side but worth the money.
Visited just before a concert. Venue is very close to the concert location. Staff were very knowledgeable about the times when the Acts were going to be on which was very helpful. My only niggle was that when I looked on-line I thought I saw Pizzas, but there didn't appear to be any on the menu I saw, also the dinner I had pre-selected in my head on-line also wasn't available (I was that confused I thought I was at the wrong place!) - apart from that great evening.
Very good. What I expect as an Andiamo/Vicari standard. Veal was flavorful, tender, large portion. Half taken home. Server, Jamie was excellent. AC seemed to be an issue, but resolved within a decent amount of time. Mgr moved around the room, checking on meals, water, service. This is how a business should be run.
The restaurant was very nice. Our waiter was very helpful and professional. The food was good. We were four couples and the seating was very comfortable. The only complaint ( very minimal) was the noise lever was high. We could not hear the other couple at the end of the table.
My boyfriend and I planned a date night one weeknight. We originally had planned to go to Saganos in Clarkson because we had Italian food the last time we went out. When we arrived at Saganos neither one of us could read the menus and felt overwhelmed. As a result to not knowing what to order and not having an appetite for any of the food there we left and I chose to go to Andiamos. Being a classier restaurant I was worried we wouldn't get a seat without a reservation so I did some research and then found that I could create a reservation on my phone for 10 mins later then the current time! My boyfriend and I fell in love the moment we stepped out of my car. The decor and the set up was gorgeous and the live music outside was just our style. We walked in and the hostest already knew that we were the reservation for two. My boyfriend said something to me about getting a booth and this would be perfect well our hostest took us right to a booth with gorgeous architecture away from the few other groups in the restaurant at the time. The main reason why we chose this restaurant was because a week prior my boyfriend was diagnosed with celiac disease and can no longer eat gluten. Well get this, Andiamos has a gluten free menu that is amazing and has several options not just four. The food was amazing both the gluten free and non gluten free. I can't count the times my boyfriend said I made a great choice and he loved the restaurant and the food. The menu is huge and there are many more dishes we can't wait to try. We are no doubt going back to our new favorite restaurant every chance we get!
I've spent my birthday dinner at andiamos for the past 3 years . It was a perfect evening sitting outside with great Italian food . It's also my favorite place to meet friends as a halfway point to have dinner . Love the atmosphere in the bar area and the entertainment is always a bonus .
We were there for Father's Day, and enjoyed it thoroughly! Our waitress was Amber, and she was absolutely wonderful! Everything was done to perfection --- not to slow, and not rushed! She explained the special to us, and the wonderful desserts! It was a great experience.
My wife and I visited Andiamo - Clarkston for our wedding Anniversary. The food was great, but we found out the next day that our daughter had ordered and paid for a bottle of champagne to be on the table when we arrived, as a surprise. The champagne never appeared. We were extremely disappointed when we found out. We called Andiamo's the next day and explained what had happened and they were not very apologetic. I guess I will not be celebrating any more anniversaries there in the future.
