Andiamo Royal Oak Ratings and Reviews
This is a decent place, but the drinks are very watered down. My wife had a mule and you could not tell it had liquor in it, my Old fashion was the same way. Tasted like orange juice with a hint of peach.
I would HIGHLY recommend ordering wine when you eat here.
This was a hot mess, train wreck from the get go. Too many things wrong - from the manager who just seemed to sleep walk through the night, to our waiter who creeped us out with wacky banter to the food that was just barely ok. The writing is on the wall when it turns into “the” place for the HS homecoming crowd. Last time for us at Andiamo.
We had dinner on a recent Friday early evening. Restaurant was not crowded. Wait staff was very good. Ambiance nice. I had the Capellini D’estate which is indicated as a specialty dish. Tasty, but dry. A disappointment. Carrot cake for dessert was also somewhat dry (not moist). Overall, an average restaurant experience. I just expected more from Andiamo.
I really enjoyed myself! It was my date and I first time dinning there and Andy our waiter mad it a breeze! The wine list is very extensive! Thank you guys for helping create such a wonderful night for us! And a special thanks to Andy our waiter.. You ROCKED!
We had a very bad experience overall. The hostess was rude, our waiter was rude and only had one functional eye so he was not easy to look at. Our waiter had bad body odor and couldn't speak English and he should've been working in the kitchen and not as a waiter. He was abrupt, abrasive and rude....not the kind of service you want from Andiamo...we won't go back to that location ever again. Not only was the service terrible but the risotto and the gnocchi were extremely salty and cold when they were bright out. A very bad experience overall this past Friday night!
Took my fiancé to Andiamo’s for our first dinner date. It’s been a while since I’ve been to Andiamo’s, however, we were impressed with the plant-based menu! My fiancé is vegan/gluten-free and the chef came out to inform us the gnocchi had egg in it. He made a custom plant-based dish and the marinera sauce was divine. I had the 8oz filet cooked to perfection (medium). Highly recommend and would definitely go back 😉
Our waiter Tritan was horrible. He barely was audible while explaining the feature dishes of the night. He never wrapped up my friends leftovers. Our table was completely bussed and she was left with her plate in front of her waiting to have her dish wrapped up. Very embarrassing for a semi-upscale restaurant. The third person to come by finally wrapped it up. Then Tritan messed up splitting our bill equally. He didn't understand the math. He also had a lazy eye which was hard to look at and an accent that was hard to understand because he didn't articulate very well or speak up. The food was ok but the dessert was horrible. The worst piece of cheesecake I've ever had. I was highly disappointed.
