Andiamo Royal Oak Ratings and Reviews
Wait staff was good, not pushy
Foodwas good, nothing to write a column about, just good food.
Price was high but that was expected
Not a place I would make as a regular for dinner or lunch only special occasions as i like to spend an evning out not a fortune on the evening
This is a decent place, but the drinks are very watered down. My wife had a mule and you could not tell it had liquor in it, my Old fashion was the same way. Tasted like orange juice with a hint of peach.
I would HIGHLY recommend ordering wine when you eat here.
This was a hot mess, train wreck from the get go. Too many things wrong - from the manager who just seemed to sleep walk through the night, to our waiter who creeped us out with wacky banter to the food that was just barely ok. The writing is on the wall when it turns into “the” place for the HS homecoming crowd. Last time for us at Andiamo.
We had dinner on a recent Friday early evening. Restaurant was not crowded. Wait staff was very good. Ambiance nice. I had the Capellini D’estate which is indicated as a specialty dish. Tasty, but dry. A disappointment. Carrot cake for dessert was also somewhat dry (not moist). Overall, an average restaurant experience. I just expected more from Andiamo.
