We really enjoyed our dinner. Our server was very professional and delightful. She had alot of knowledge for my options for gluten free. The only thing I want to say is my portion of gf pasta was so small for the price. I compared portions to my boyfriends dish and mine looked like a kids portion. The house salad was extraordinary..

My husband and I came here for my birthday. We haven’t been here in over a year and was disappointed that they no longer serve chicken Parmesan or chicken Marsala. Our waiter was great along with the rest of the staff. Next time if we dine here I will call and make sure they have either one of the dishes I just mentioned. We both had the lasagna, which tasted bland. I would not recommend it. The salad, bread, steak bites with mushrooms were great, along with the dessert the waiter brought me for my birthday. They need to update their online menu which says they have chicken parm and chicken Marsala.

Pros: very good, tasty food and a great value. Nice view of the Detroit River and Windsor. Cons: service was not as polished as other similar restaurants, including Joe Muer seafood, which is right above on the second floor. Decor/seating could use some updating. Frankly, dinner wasn't bad (it was good), but it was underwhelming. Other Andiamo locations (such as even the now defunct Dearborn location) offered a better experience. I'd recommend visiting a different Andiamo location. [Paid parking only. We parked at the Beaubien/Atwater garage, charge was $15 (no validation available) for two hours.]

I absolutely Love Andiamo Riverfront Detroit. I celebrated my Birthday in 2022 there with family and friends and everyone enjoyed the restaurant. I definitely would recommend it for a dinner. It would be nice if they added small plates entree to its menu, (hamburgers, fries, club sandwiches). A nice place for a date out. My server Izzie was GREAT!! was there January 22, 2023, again for Birthday dinner.

Honestly, our waiter Jordan T was the best part of the experience. He was attentive, excellent at his job and was just great in general. It had been quite a while since I've been to this location and honestly, I was pretty disappointed. I ordered the roast duck and only the breast was edible, the fruits of the ocean pasta my husband ordered was great, but the flavor was fantastic. Our appetizer and desserts were TOP NOTCH. I mean, crazy good. I'll never be able to eat regular carrot cake again. My honest review is I'll definitely be back, just maybe not for duck.

Two of our dinners were good, the other two were not. Advertised as a waterfront restaurant we were in a room, although pleasant, could have been in any hotel/restaurant USA. Staff was professional and attentive. Expensive, mediocre dinner.

Service and food was very good. Nice location downtown Detroit with an view across the Detroit River and the Windsor waterfront in Canada. It was a slow night and early in the evening so ambience was quiet. Price was reasonable.

We were seated at a table overlooking the riverfront. The wine was wonderful, had a delightful appetizer and veal with shrimp. And of course, cheesecake for dessert. We had a wonderful time. We would certainly recommend Andiamo's for any occasion.

My husband and I celebrated my birthday. I was hoping to get a table in the dining area with the view of the riverfront but it was pretty full. We ended up in a room that’s used for private parties and very close to the kitchen and service area. The area was just a bit too closed in and it felt so separate from the rest of the restaurant. Our water George was excellent! The food was good and I enjoyed the experience overall. I just wish I could’ve experienced the view of the riverfront.

A 18% gratuity was added to bill for a party of 2 which was unexpected and a bit insulting. We specifically requested seating by the windows or view of the river in the reservation and were seated at the end of a seating area, on the isle right near the staging area with no view at all of the water. Kind of felt like the bums rush for some reason. Food was good, server good. Our fault we should have requested to seated elsewhere but didn't really realize how busy it was in that area until after seated and ordering appetizers

Let me start off with all the great things!!! The meal......and the service......TO DIE for. Michael was our server and he was spot on with his suggestions, and menu knowledge. The supporting staff was equally as great. On the spot with awareness of table needs and meeting the obligations of anticipating the needs, (condiments, water refills, and clearing plates right away.) The only disappointment in our experience was the blinds were closed to the river front.....( my husband opened them anyways), and the WALL that we were seated right next to.........DIRTY. Look like someone splattered something all over it. Might be a small thing to some, but as a former restaurant manager, the menu prices and the ambience in general, This should not have been overlooked by someone. We will be back though. The meals and service more than made up for it.

Always had a good experience here, been here several times BUT this last time I went I got the salmon entree for the first time and it was highly disappointing. It came out in a plastic bag that the waiter cut open and then he told me I could either dump out the contents of the bag or eat from the bag. I dumped out the bag onto my plate and it only consisted of salmon (looked to be boiled or steamed), kale, olives, capers, and a lemon wedge. Salmon did not have any flavor at all and looked to only have minimal salt/pepper on it, no other seasoning. Meal came with 2 soggy pieces of toast that were grilled/charred looking. Will still return, but now I know not to get that dish again. Was very disappointed with that meal, but the appetizers & drinks were still delicious as always and my boyfriend got the entree on special and it was spectacular! Maybe it was just my dish.

We offer valet parking for a fee. We also offer parking in the nearby Beaubien Garage. The parking structure is located on the corner of Beaubien Boulevard and Atwater Street. We validate for up to three hours of use. There is a walkway on the second level of the structure that connects to the building.
