A bit disappointing. Felt more like a family diner. I thought it would be a bit more upscale. Food was only ok. My lasagna was warm not hot. Main course came while people still eating their salads! My biggest pet peeve. Felt rushed and amateurish. Didn’t feel like anything special at all. Really sorry my once a hear treat for friends was so disappointing. Maggiano’s next time for sure,
I worked with Craig Bowen to set-up an all expense paid dinner for my parents. Craig went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly, and that the waiter was in on the experience I wanted for them. I can’t recall the waiters name, but according to my parents they were exceptional. My parents had an amazing time, thank you!
My server was a little arrogant. I wanted to make sure the check came to me right off the start. He said I don’t care about that now. We will figure it out later. A server should never shut down a guest. Our server was not tentative as he should have been. Meaning we had to FLAG him down to many times. Also I had Grilled Salmon Ceaser. With that title I assumed the salmon was included in the price. They was another ceaser Hail that was plain and you could add salmon. I chose the grilled for the price which I assumed it was included. Nope . I work in Food and Beverage at at country club st night. I know a bit about F&BOff the subject of our server. Your bussers should never carry a plate or bowl by the side always on the bottom or better yet a tray. I don’t want fingers on my food plate or a thumb in my soup bowl. Especially from a busser or runner. I had just driven 7 hours and were meeting family looking for a nice visit. But the dinner experience was not good at all
Andiamo is always a good option. Effie was awesome, the best service we've had in a long time! This one is convenient off M59 at Lakeside Mall. I'm glad they have Open Table, is was so easy to get a table reserved. We ordered the ravioli, chicken parm, and chicken marsala. All very good. Would recommend to a friend.
Very disappointed in this visit. Can’t recommend it based on this dining experience. The last time we were in the manager put a spefic server on our reservation. When we arrived, a new manager asked if I still wanted that specific server to which I replied yes, but he gave us someone different (who was still good) any way. Asking didn’t help, it was ignored. There were only three other tables occupied that Friday night. The food was not up to par and sending back wasn’t an option based on everything else happening. The pan seared gnocchi weren’t pan seared at all, the whole dish was mushy, just a collection of soft salmon, tomatoes and gnocchi . The tortellini were overly salty. One steak was extremely rare and was just taken home and cooked later. We did not stay for dessert because of the disappointing main dishes. My $20 open table voucher wasn’t used and my Mille Grazie account was only credited 203 points on a bill that was $390 (before tip). Not sure what is going on there now but we aren’t going to rush back there. Very, very disappointed!
Although the parking lot seemed packed, the restaurant did not seemed overly crowded or noisy. It had the appearance and feeling of an upscale family restaurant. The waiter made sure we were well taken care of. He took his time and went out of his way to insure that we had a great dining experience.
My 16 year old grandson chose Andiamo's in Sterling Heights for his birthday dinner. We were not disappointed. The waitstaff was very attentive and the food was delicious. We were able to enjoy an excellent meal while also enjoying conversations in a quiet atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon.
The chef and waitstaff did a great job suggesting, preparing , amd serving the very delicious food. Fine dining, but healthfully prepared. If you love Italian, you’ll love this long-time family owned location of Andiamo. They were very helpful in helping celebrate my husbands birthday.
My wife and I both ordered the 12 oz New York steak special for $20.00 each. We enjoyed our meal and the house wine was excellent. I had the New England clam chowder and it was servered hot and delicious. The General Manager came to our booth to get our feedback. Overall, we were pleased with our dining exprience
We were there for a 30th anniversary dinner and we were delighted. We were pleased with every aspect of our meal. The staff was friendly and courteous, Our server, Michelle, was wonderful, helpful, funny and made our first visit a memorable experience. The food and dessert were delicious! We'll be back, and we'll tell our friends, too!
Had to send my steak back twice because it wasn't cooked enough and then it was tough. Waited an extremely long time for the dessert tray and to pay our bill. Thought they were giving us complimentary dessert because of the steak problems but that was a miscommunication so that made paying the bill take longer. Our waiter was confused and overwhelmed. The manager also stressed him out and talked over him when he was asking us what we would like

I've had them bring out the Rings with the desert and they did an excellent job!! I was quite impressed and so was she a little speechless.
I will definitely go back. You are well taken care of here and treated like family not a number.
The food was phenomenal along with the exceptional service. I will definitely be back thanks for making our day special and rememberable it will never be forgotten.
Nice place, good food although the mushroom soup and the brown sauce over the veal - definitely where too salty. This is why my review give Andiamo only four stars for this visit. Hopefully the chefs will take into account that we can always use salt shaker on the table...
