Andiamo Bloomfield Ratings and Reviews
We went to Andiamo's for my husband's birthday and as a date night. Everyone there was very friendly and helped to make this a very enjoyable, comfortable, and grand evening. It was also nice to see Rick and Dana performing who we met while we were dating. Thank you for helping to make my husband's birthday , and a quote from him, "the best birthday!"
Six of us went there for a birthday party and waited 20 minutes for our first drink to come, which is unusual. We ordered appetizers they came out at a normal time great temperature and well prepared.Wanted to order more drinks but couldn’t get service in time before our dinner.
The dinner came out in a good time except not all at once, five of the dinners were OK and one for spaghetti which should have been excellent was prepared wrong and lacked flavor. Still love this restaurant but they are either short staffed are too busy.
The food was great as it always is. I really appreciate good live music that’s loud enough to hear, but doesn’t drown out table conversation.
As a gluten free diner I appreciate the well marked menu and fresh GF dinner rolls.
We’re going to start coming here more often. They really do everything right.
Our service was very good. We were seated without having to wait an hour as it was Christmas Eve. Our server was very polite and knowlegable but she sent over a wine specialist to clarify a few things and we ended up with a very tasty wine. Will go back again for sure!
We had been here multiple times before had good experiences. This time we were there on Christmas Eve. Appetizers were good. Meal was horrible. Service was horrible (it was just our waitress, others seamed to have good service). I don’t know if we will go there again. Too $$ for the quality.
Even though we had a reservation with OpenTable we had to wait 30 minutes for a table to be made available. The food was excellent but our waiter was a bit distracted and we had to ask someone else to refill our water glasses. We had a nice view of the fireplace but it was a little chilly in the side room past the bar.
Having dinner on a Thursday with friends was great, however music started at 7 it 7:30. The group was good...and I love music, however, It was too loud and we were unable to converse. Some how that needs to be addressed . Was very disappointed that happened. We will, however, return. Food is awesome and servers were great
After making reservations 8 hours ahead of time I show up still having to wait and not getting a booth like I requested, supposedly “the booths were booked before my request” even though it was submitted at 11:30AM! The manger Ryan who seated us was very rude and not accommodating to my request, you would think a high class restaurant would have better skilled managers? To top it off after getting the bill I asked if we can use my place of employment discount but I needed my badge, I spoke with the other manager rocky stating I don’t carry my badge everywhere and I pulled it up for him on my work website with all my information along with my picture ID, he asked if he could make an copy of it? I thought I was applying a credit app to purchase a car? You don’t need a copy of my information it’s only a $10 discount!! He wasn’t able to give me the discount because I said no to making a copy of my personal information that had my SSN #! Both managers need better customer service skills, learn how to treat their customers with respect and go back to training! Very disappointed with andiamos and do not plan on visiting this location again! I work for a big corporation and I will make sure everyone will hear about this horrible experience. Thank you andiamos for ruining my birthday dinner, hopefully you choose your store managers more wisely. Thanks!
One of 2 restaurants on Telegraph Rd convenient and usually open for Sunday dinner on the drive home from Detroit Metropolitan Airport. This visit, we were very disappointed in the food. My husband’s brisket was tough. My gluten free pasta (only offer penne, despite my numerous suggestions they offer a more versatile gf noodle like linguini), was over cooked to the point of the prosciutto being dry, tough and charred black. When I told a server they need to inform the kitchen that prosciutto should not taste like that, our waitress came back and told me the black charred pieces were only the onion! Too expensive to be served poorly prepared food —and with no apologies.
The service was just fair, and slow. My order (Fish on daily specials) was overcooked and flavorless. I asked for sauce on the side, it wasn't. The vegetable was broccoli and cauliflower, I only had broccoli - which was under-cooked and charred. Every 3 minutes someone came by to take a side dish away but I wasn't finished with it, made me think the bus staff was incentivized on how many plates they could collect. Although my table-mates liked the chowder, the Minestone was watery and underseasoned.
I used to love this restaurant but the food on Saturday was awful. I ordered the brick
Chicken which was undercooked. It is usually crispy. The salad ,spaghetti and bread were good but the entre was terrible. I should have sent it back. Won’t be going back for awhile.
