Unique menu, with enough to choose from. The service was more than great. The prices are very reasonable.
Service was great, food and portions were just ok.
Met a couple of friends for a reunion. This was the perfect place!! It was quiet, incredibly delicious food, and a gracious wait staff with a sense of humor. Will be back soon.
I’m a big fan of andiamo but the duck confit my wife had was dry and tasteless. Very disappointing.
I frequent Andiamo quite a bit and I find the food to be consistent. Their fish of the day was quite good, pike, and I was very pleased. I tasted my two dinner companions' food, pizza and a pasta dish and I thought their dinner was good as well.
Meet here regularly with friends for lunch before a movie at Violet Crown. The lunch specials are a great value and always perfectly executed. Tried the cauliflower soup this time and it was outstanding. The fresh bread from Sage Bakery is always great. Salads very fresh. One of us tried the calamai (salad) and found it crisp, light, cooked just right.
Service is always excellent.
Andiamo! has the best pizza in town, not to mention a terrific menu of Italian specialties. I just wish the Caesar w/calamari was offered at dinner as well as lunch!
Delicious! Amazing fresh ravioli! Lamb sausage was wonderful. Wonderful salads not overdressed. Some of the best coffee with great desserts. We will be back!
Table was ready on time, service good & food delicious
A wonderful place for Italian in Santa Fe. We go every time we’re in town!
Small tables, big flavor at reasonable prices. A favorite of ours in the $30-40 per person range.
Had a wonderful meal in this small house restaurant. So glad that we could easily walk from our downtown hotel. A Sante Fe friend had recommended Andiamo, knowing we would be traveling here. We had some wonderful calamari and glasses of wine to start. Very fresh calamari! Both of us enjoyed the special flounder, served atop roasted vegetables. Every bite was delicious. We finished our meal with a shared tiramisu, which was lovely.
The table was a bit cramped, close to the neighboring table and near the kitchen, but that wasn't a big problem. Had a few laughs with the next table about being so close and then just enjoyed watching the buzz of servers scurrying in/out of the kitchen. So, what some might consider a lesser table, we thought was great. Would definitely return, when in Santa Fe.
Was a tough night for our waiter, and my party as well. Made reservations for 7pm, however my guests arrived at 6pm. After a call to my cell phone, I raced over to Andiamo. We ordered salads and pastas. Was a busy night so whenthe salads didn't come out right away, we weren't too concerned. However, out came our pastas fresh , hot and delicious. But no salads. A mixup in the kitchen was the cause and we decided to forego those salads. Our wonderful waiter, who kept apologizing all night, gave us a free dessert. All was well even without our greens!
Very pleasant atmosphere with the staff being very efficient and friendly. The food was overall very tasty and well cooked. Portion was good. However, they can improved on their bread that they served before dinner as it was not very fresh. Especially, if they can warm it up a little bit to make it crusty and not soggy inside, it will be better taste.
We had our 45th anniversary dinner at Andiamo with our son, daughter and son-in-law and 2 grandsons. It is a great family restaurant. The wait staff were very patient and accommodating to our 10-month-old grandson, as well as our 7-year-old. Best of all, the food was amazing, delicious and creative! Andiamo is our favorite Italian restaurant in Santa Fe!
The food was delicious and beautifully presented and our server, Antonio, was friendly
and charming while providing excellent, attentive service. This was the best meal we had during our visit to Santa Fe. We loved it!
Great caesar salad and excellent food overall. Highly recommend
This was a dinner before going to the theater and a birthday celebration. We informed the waiter that we needed to be done by a set time to make our theater event and they helped in every respect - the food came promptly, and the bill was handled without delay. Good job! As for the food - this was tastefully presented and was equally tasteful! The fish of the day was flounder - done up excellent... and the veal marsala was also excellent! One thing I noticed - no salt and pepper shakers on the table. First restaurant I've seen this, but there was no need for either. Clearly, the chef believes (and is right in doing so...) that the kitchen seasoning should not be changed. I think that shows pride in his/her culinary skills.
We visited Andiamo during Restaurant Week and it was so good we went back the following week. Our server, Juan, was great and the food and wine were delicious!
Great menu, server, wine & dessert. We had not been in some time and the place is lovely and transformed. A favorite in the past & present! Not to be missed!
Animal's has a warm, comfortable neighborhood feel, caring wait staff, simple but suitable decor and a uniquely flavored, delicious menu, It?s a new favorite I am recommending to all my frienss.
Everything was absolutely delicious but the Bolognese. Two people had it and didn't like it at all. We are Foodies and know Bolognese. I hope they will consider our criticism.
Andiamo is always super tasty and this time my friend and I brought our 12 year-old daughters to enjoy the $25 restaurant week menu. Every item we ordered was delicious! I had a cream of mushroom soup and the penne with house-made sausage. The portions were more than enough. The waiter was very nice and accommodating, even with our special to-go order. The spacing is a little cramped so I don't know that a party of more than 4 people would be comfortable. The tables are close together because it's a small space but as long as you expect that, it's not a problem.
We were seated at a four top table and were to be three persons. It was restaurant week and super busy. They moved us to a two top table after we were served bread and wine. Unnerving but understandable.
The trout was tasteless and the vegetables were over done.
We will visit again and forgive the inconvenience. Thank you and I hope you had a successful restaurant week!
Three of us had dinner during Restaurant week. As one was handicapped movement and appetite affected we had specific needs. We were not greeted very well - just a basic hello and little support - but they were at a peak busy point. As for being handicapped there is Steps only in front and we were told gravel only in back with no explanation of how to even get to the back.
Once in we were pleased we were not locked into the Fixed menu, and 2 of us went ala carte.
Fried calamari was excellent - lightly breaded. Rest was good if not great but nothing negative to say.
Great food and service. 2 of us were vegetarians and they had great options for us too!
We went to Andiamo for Restaurant Week. It was packed but we had made a reservation and we didn’t have to wait long. Our waiter was Antonio and he was attentive and delightful. The food was fantastic!
Andiamo is ALWAYS fantastic! Santa Fe can get distracted with lots of new hot spots, but Andiamo is consistently delicious and they are always adding surprises to the menu. I've loved this restaurant for years. Don't overlook this deliciously wonderful experience!
It was just OK. It was restaurant week, and completely packed, I swear they added extra tables and we could barely move. We were a party of 7 adults and one child and we really did feel claustrophobic because of the lack of space. The food was pretty good, though not overly memorable. Good value for restaurant week, and good service overall. I won't be rushing back.
Nice place great food good staff
Many regulars fun
Best reasonably priced restaurant in Santa Fe! Every meal is a work of art. I like to cook so going out can be a disappointment. Never with Andiamo! Pure luxury.
Despite having a reservation, we waited for 25 minutes to be seated. Food is fine to excellent. The restaurant is so cramped. Literally, you are seated on top of the next table. Service staff have a difficult time maneuvering the room.
It doesn't take 50 characters to say "YUMMERS!" but they want a few unnecessary words. So how about "TASTY" and "WELL SAUCED." That should do. Try it, you'll like it!
We went for Restaurant Week. The food was excellent and being restaurant week, value was better than usual for Santa Fe.
enjoyed every bit of it! server was terrific! we were nicely accommodated for the table we preferred at initial arrival.
Outstanding Caesar salad and spaghetti bolognese!! Great service!
Had an absolutely fantastical dining experience @ Andiamo that evening! I will MOST definitely be back again.
What a surprise! So glad we ended up at this restaurant. Wine presentation was fantastic. Found was outstanding. Spaghetti Bolognese and Chicken Parmesan were excellent.
My friend and I were there during Santa Fe's Restaurant Week, so the menu and crowd size weren't typical. The noise level was higher than usual, and the wait staff were a bit overwhelmed, but took good care of us none-the-less.
This is a long standing Santa Fe institution, here since 1995, and is very reliable.
