   Friendly attentive staff, nice setting, good sized portion and food very good. I would recommend and revisit again.

   Have always enjoyed the wonderful service. The ambience is lovely. Food outstanding. It's a beautiful intimate restaurant for special occasions.

   I was pleased to see so many gluten free options on their menu and with so many dishes I would like to have tried. The beef brisket was so tasty with the delicious gravy and dauphinoise potato. The vegetables were spiralised, which made them lighter and more interesting. The gf sticky toffee pudding was to die for. The room was all done out with Christmas lights on garlands and this made it feel really special. We ate there on a second night and I had the fish pie, huge portion, very tasty. Great value for money considering the size and quality of the dishes. Great wine too, not too expensive for a bottle. Would love to eat here again.

   Food for all five of us was fabulous. Service was great. Prices on the higher side so good for a special celebration rather than regular eating out. The only downside was that it got quite hot towards the end of the evening.

   A lovely hidden gem with delicious food, nice atmosphere, helpful staff and not bad value either. Will definitely be returning.

   We had a fabulous meal on our honeymoon. Quality and flavours of food were lovely and worth every penny for a special occasion. Good choice on the menu. Definately would recommend

   We went for an anniversary treat while staying at the hotel. The service was friendly and attentive (but not too much!) and the food (we had fish) was well cooked and seasoned. The menu is more traditional but the prices are reasonable and we would certainly go back.

    Had a wonderful family meal. Everyone absolutely loved their food. My youngest daughter had king prawn and chorizo for a starter and loved it so much she would not let us try any! Our eldest had the chicken pate and it was beautiful. My husband and I had the scallops with black pudding and bacon it was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I won’t go into details with the main but suffice to say none could be faulted. The staff were attentive and friendly and the restaurant decor was beautiful. It’s a shame it’s not on our door step as it would become a regular treat.
