Our servers were amazing and the food was great. Definitely will visit again!!
Incredibly small portions for the prices charged...
Not much by way of seafood on this very small and pedestrian menu, however you can expect “large” prices.
A little surprised on the menu for this resort, or maybe it’s done because most guest goes elsewhere to eat!
Sadly only one entree that’s gluten free so my experience was only done in one night!
Our food was delicious and our server was very friendly. We would definitely eat here again when in the area.
FOOD WAS GOOD.SUGGESTION. WHEN YOU DO AN EASTER BRUNCH AT THAT PRICE WHY NOT UNCLUDE CHAMPAGNE???
Horrible ! No one greeted us we actually got a person to go find the hostess to get a seat. When seated the waiter had his mask down , asked what we wanted before we had menus , actually laughed in our faces when we asked about specials! We ordered a drink and when we did look at the menu and $38 dollar entrees we decided to leave and go to Houston’s . If we are going to pay steak house prices we want steak house service , cleanliness and ambience. If you like chaos / cafeterias go here. Extremely disappointed and expect more from the Marriott.
The menu is very tiny here, but what we picked was well done. The food was delicious and the service was way above par. If you are a local - tell them! They gave us 20% off our bill for being a local.
Our steaks were amazing! The ambiance was wonderful. We really enjoyed our experience.
It was a end of the year dinner. Food was a fixed menu, They were out of a couple of plates they offered. Meat was overcooked, chicken raw.
They offered live entertainment that was really boring and was there until 10:00 PM.
Nothing special for an end of the year celebration.
Services was poor and food not good at all.
Me and my sons had a great experience. The staff was very warm and welcoming!
We have made outside reservations as online food and everything looked great and were looking forward to an amazing experience. Dressed up.
When we got their inside looks so so and we walked outside. Well as we arrived on time our table was no where ready nor we were really expected. All outside (plastic) tables (not cloth) were taken. We were asked if we wanted to wait or sit at the high top to the side of the dining area by the pool.....
ok we agreed but once we set down and looked at menu we decided for the buck we are about to leave there we are not getting anywhere near what we expected ambiance wise plus they were out of oysters we were looking forward to.
Haven’t tried food went else where and happily left money where we enjoyed everything.
Sitting outside isn't really ideal because it is right next to the pool.
Server was great but kitchen took forever to get food out and then food was not super hot for having just come out.
Food was good, service was very good. It took a while to get the food, but it still was good and hot.
Great service from our server (Carry), but kitchen took 1 Hrs to provide our shrimp cocktail appetizer. My steak was good, my wife’s sea bass was a total disappointment. We are staying in the hotel, but have changed our reservation to eat dinner somewhere else on our second night.
If you are staying at the Pompano Beach Marriott, do not waste your time and go eat somewhere else.
Exactly what it was. A hotel restaurant. Felt like I was eating in a cafeteria.
The food was really good! But the service was poorly. We waited more than half an hour between asking for the check until getting the change. During the dinner the waitress didn’t pay much attention to us.
We were here for a thanksgiving with another couple. Our server was excellent and the buffet selection was very nice with one exception. Being that it was a holiday we were expecting pie in the dessert selection but there was none. Desserts mediocre at best.
Overall a disappointing experience. Met friends from out of town for early Friday evening dinner. Even though on the beach there is zero view of ocean. Service very slow when restaurant was basically empty. Drinks empty for at least 10 min before waiter finally checked on us. Octopus lacking in flavor, my husband had the wagyu burger ($22) which was mediocre at best. Calamari and the hand cut fries were only things that stood out as “good”. Lighting is very bright...perfect to read a novel, but doesn’t make a very nice ambience. Highlight was the very pleasant hostess. We will not be returning.
had dinner with mom. i had an excellent corvina with cajun accoutrements, and mom had delicious broiled sea scallops on a bed of green lentils. the ambience is like an elementary school cafeteria. i expect to go back again sometime.
The seafood chowder was amazing. Tuesday night is Mojito night and the view of the trees is great. Price is a little steep for the portions.
Food was good, but atmosphere was sterile - lights were too bright and there was no privacy
disappointing menu with no local fish. Poke had no base and the tuna floated in soy says. Chowder was outstanding . and quite pricey
Every large and small detail handled for our group with professionalism and ease, very nicely prepared food, beautiful restaurant venue and complimentary valet parking.
Both servers and management exceeded our expectations.
The calamari did not taste fresh. It wss not tenderized properly and it was rubbery and there were not any tentacle pieces in the mix, only rings. They should have been served with an excellent marinara but were instead served with 2 lackluster sauces.
The server asked my opinion and she was quick to offer me another selection. I chose the lobster roll. Although the sandwich was tasty, there was a little too much mayo and price was not in line with the quality or the portion.
If you are at the beach and looking for a casual spot for a real food this would be a good choice. The remodel has left it with nothing to absorb sound so it’s loud and casual but food was very good as was the service!
Opted for a poolside table for our dinner and it was very nice place to eat our dinner as it was also close to beach. Kids had a lovely Wagua beef burger and my wife and fish. Nicely prepared and a great person named Curtis taking care of us.
My dinner at this restaurant was so enjoyable! This is a great place for those seeking an exquisite Florida seafood meal with great service.
Food was fresh and delicious and on top of our waiter Dwayne being so nice and welcoming. I went to bed dreaming about the food. I will be back.
Great experience - much better value than most spots on Las Olas. Hopefully will continue to get the word out for locals.
Great location, food was pretty good. Views and location are amazing
Absolutely loved this restaurant, loved the service, loved the food. Chef came out to check and see how we enjoyed food. I will definitely be back to this hotel and restaurant.
AND is not open for lunch even though it shows as open. We had to order from the patio lunch menu. Huge disappointment!
Would not recommend.
Staff was amazing. Food was good but way overpriced.
The quality and TASTE of the different food items for the mothers day brunch was excellent; not your boring old egg casseroles everyday items. Figs , Blood Oranges, Fresh bountiful seafood; all very delicious! and everyone was friendly and kind! The chef even came out to say hi and brought beautiful decorative cookies boxed with a bow for mom's; that Tasted even better than they looked!
High Energy......good food....seafood....Omelettes.....desserts......
Octopus appetizer was excellent. Service very good. Tuna appetizer and island stew was so spicy you cannot taste anything else. The lobster roll had too much mayo and filler. Wanted to like it but will not go back. Sorry it was disappointed. Seem to be just another hotel restaurant catering to a captive audience of hotel guests.
Limited menu. Small portions. Big price. Waiter was excellent!! No ambiance.
