   This restaurant should NOT be on open table at this time as it's a seasonal place. Made the reservation and was NOT aware of this. It was a busy night in the area as there were multiple events at the casino and there were not many options. We had to scramble to find a place to eat after assuming we were all set here. Very disappointed.

   We were the first customers there, on a Friday night. But, it filled up quickly! The haddock with a dill sauce was absolutely scrumptious! And my husband enjoyed the fettucini alfredo with broccoli and chicken. Service was friendly & efficient until we went to pay the check. We could use no credit card because their machine broke down. We are lucky we had enough cash on us to pay for the meal! Other than that one problem, it was worth the drive for such a nice meal!

   We were pleased with the decor as we walked in, interesting, but not cluttered. The food tasted very good, but the side dishes of garlic butter pasta broccoli were served lukewarm at best. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I will return.

   We got a table right away, but they did not have enough Waiter staff available. The last time we were there the Prime rib was delicious, but this time we sat there for two hours without our food, they did not come back to ask for our drink order, we had to go to the bar to order. He said that we were going to get bread....No bread, my husband and I had a full bottle of beer and the waiter brought us two more that we did not order. The couple with us needed the beer, they didn't get it. The prime rib was awful, when it finally came it wasn't cook to our order, they were all well done, like they were cooked in a Microwave. I am sorry, but I was so upset, because my friends could not believe it, and I raved about the place. It was a night I would like to forget. Never again. It was a two hundred dollar mess.

   This was our third Valentine’s Day dinner here. We enjoy the interaction with the owner and the friendly atmosphere The food is some of the best at the beach

   Our family wanted good food and service. We were not disappointed. The owner did everything in his power to make sure we had an enjoyable evening. We'll recommend the Anchor Light Inn to friends and family. Elizabeth Carone

   Anchor Light has become our "go too" place in Sylvan Beach. We always have a great meal and service.

    Everything about this place is awesome! The food, service, price and atmosphere are all top-notch! We've been there about 3 times now for dinner and have not been disappointed. Highly recommend!
