Anatolia Turkish Restaurant

This was the third time we've held a family celebration at Anatolia and it won't be the last. Excellent food and great service.
It was ok.
The use of extremely small bread plates for both bread and shared appetizers was problematic. While the meat was executed well, the steak came from an animal that I fear suffered a fair amount in it’s final years of life… And the vegetables were severely undercooked and unseasoned. Our waitress was nice and worthy of note.
Simple things like the rice and the olive oil on the table were oddly altered / stretched in someway. I’m sure someone from the restaurant is about to argue that they are from a little village somewhere in Turkey that “does it” that way… But a number of these choices were like no Turkish, Greek, Iranian, Lebanese, Arabic, Kurdish, or Armenian food my family has ever eaten… And we like all of the above. No one at our table tried to seafood, soups or stews…so perhaps that would have been a better choice. ::sigh::
On the upside, the restaurant is pleasant. The wait staff are all very nice. There’s a fair number of wines by the glass, the hummus was well executed, and we all liked the chicken and the koobideh (it’s possible they had a different name for it as we got it as part of our mixed grill).
We are shocked by others higher ratings of this restaurant… all in, it probably should be in the 4 range… so I’m purposely selecting a three overall to try to attract some attention to some of the challenges above.
If we were to go back… We would have pita, hummus and a glass of wine…And I think we would be very happy with that.
We love this restaurant. The food is wonderful. Weather vegetarian or meat , all is delicious. My granddaughters think they have the best rice in Nashville!
👍🏼😊 great place
Will be back
First time I’ve been out to a restaurant since before the pandemic, and it was a great experience. The lamb kebob is fantastic. Great date night place.
Very nice atmosphere and excellent service
Dennis, waiter is personal and professional. Great suggested based on your appetite!
Consistently great food from a family owned restaurant. The lamb chops are great, as well as the trout. They serve a great variety of cocktails, including Prosecco. We are so happy they are in the neighborhood.
Excellent, as always.
Best Turkish experience in Nashville
The lamb Kabobs were delicious and the Lamp Chops were tender and moist, very flavorful. Great Deserts also. Great food.!
A rare found in Nashville. No offend- we found it on Google map not through opentable. I went there just because of their Kenefe/Kenefeh. It was freshly made and was so delicous. Better than I had in middle east or Patterson NY. We were there for lunch. The appetizers sampler and Gyro were great. Will go back when we visit Nashville next time
Not enough servers. Restaurant was incredibly busy. They need more wait staff to help things move along faster. Disappointed.
Love this restaurant = good clean food!
We have been going here for 20+ years!

This is one of the best overall restaurants in Nashville. I have eaten here at least 20 times and never had a bad meal. Highly recommended.
Great Valentines day Dinner. Great Turkish food..Great service...very attentive..helpful in choosing new cuisines. Nice table settings for a romantic meal...Great time.
We had a fabulous meal on a very busy Valentines evening.
Appetizer platter great
Eggplant salad fantastic
Salmon lacking seasoning and flavor
Kinda pricey for portion size for entrees
Great food, great ambiance and great service. We will be back
Love this restaurant! Had a wonderful dinner with close friends.
Loved our server-Zoda. Great personality and service. Food is so very tasty and was the perfect way to cap off this year. Not your typical meat and potatoes place (though they have those entrees.) Very quiet and easy for conversation in our party of 6. We love Anatolia and don’t mind the 30 minute drive from Franklin.
Wonderful, hidden gem! Food is always excellent. Service is spot on. Social distancing maintained. Prices are great.
Holiday treat with delicious fare and friendly staff.
This is our go to place for a quiet very good meal.
We have never been disappointed with the service, cleanliness, quantity or the quality of the food we enjoy. The desserts are impeccable.
All around excellent, with authentic taste and atmosphere and very caring service.
My fav place in the city!
Anatolia is our favorite restaurant in Nashville. The staff is friendly and attentive. Their food is always delicious and fresh, made from scratch.
Great food and service
Best Find of the year for me. Dishes were simply amazing. I cannot wait to go back.
Our favorite restaurant in Nashville!
Excellent service, meal and Turkish wine made our anniversary celebration wonderful.
The waiter even brought us baklava for dessert.
Food was very good. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Service wasn't that great. Our server wasn't the friendliest. Perhaps he was having a bad day, but his attitude was not welcoming.
Anatolia is our favorite restaurant. Food is fresh and always excellent. Staff is kind and friendly. We are fans of Anatolia.
Birthday celebration for my daughter. Wanted to show her cuisine I grew up with in Ankara Turkey.
