This isn't totally what I think of as traditional Mediterranean food. It is a little different, but not weird. The meal was lovely, and the service was excellent. They had an excellent wine list with plenty of choices by the glass. The wines and the meals were reasonably priced. Overall, a truly nice place to go for an evening out. AND an excellent place to go if you want the restaurant quiet enough for a conversation. Since that isn't often available in Nashville, it seems a real bonus.

Was very excited to try based off other reviews. Our experience did not match unfortunately. The good- appetizer platter was delicious as well as the bread. The chicken kabob also good. The lamb dishes were unevenly heated, even cold in spots even though the dish was hot to touch. No one checked in while my family was eating, so I didn’t end up eating my meal due to it being cold. According to the server, it should have been warm because it was put in microwave prior to bringing to table.

After visiting Turkey in November 2022 we were keen to find a good a good Turkish restaurant near enough to try. Also we were looking for a good Turkish coffee, which we had fallen in love with whilst in the Mediterranean. Anatolia fit the bill perfectly. The humus to start was excellent, and our mains did not disappoint. I tried the Kofta Kabob, wife tried the Vegetarian Sampler. Both were great, large servings and the flavours were perfect. We were so filled that we ordered baklava to go rather than try to fit in more food! We each had a Turkish coffee to finish and it was delicious, sweetened perfectly. We felt this was a real find and plan to visit regularly even though we live in Murfreesboro.

This is a tried and true spot. It’s not hip and cool so it has carpet which cuts down on the noice level. The food is always dependable and has a nice variety of menu choices. It’s small and personable.

Although pricey, it is well worth the visit, especially if you like Middle Eastern Food. It's our go-to place for special occasions. Only complaint. When the door is opened, the freezing cold air rushes in. Ask for a table not directly in line with the door.

Very good but not great. It is a matter of expectations. Having lived in Istanbul for a year in the '70s and visited Turkey extensively over the years perhaps we were expecting too much. Each of the four dishes (2 appetizers and 2 entries) we had were well executed. However, we had better, in Turkey and at one restaurant in New York. The service was superb and our server, Murat, couldn't have been more gracious, even indulging me in my clumsy attempt to speak Turkish. We took away some baklava which was good. The Turkish coffee came in a traditional silver cup with a silver cover; very authentic and good. Plenty of food, reasonable prices, great hospitality. It is a neighborhood gem for one in the neighborhood.Wine, beer list good at reasonable prices.

I recommended the restaurant to my friends to celebrate two birthdays. The experience was all I had hoped for. The service was impeccable. The ambience was perfect for us . We were able to talk and visit in a warm , cozy atmosphere. We all ordered different food, all had the small salad and all the food was a big hit. It was a great way to celebrate!

We just love Anatolia. Food is always great. Their wine list is reasonably priced. It’s of our go to, always dependable dinner destination. We’ve never done takeout, but it appears they do a brisk business.

We read very good reviews about this place and gave it a try on a weekend city trip to Nashville. Having had excellent Turkish food in Turkey and other European countries, the food was barely mediocre in comparison and certainly nothing to write home about. The one exception was the Kunefe, which you should try when you’re there. Also, the service was very slow and we had long finished out entrees before a waiter stopped again to asked about desert. If you’re in the area, it’s an ok place to have dinner at but I wouldn’t go back there.
