Anatolia Bar and Grill
Very good food and ambiance. Quiet atmosphere. Would recommend for any size group.
We love this restaurant. The decor is lovely. The owner is so welcoming and pleasant and the food is deliciously prepared and beautifully presented.
Hi Brenda, Thank you for joining us, and we do hope to see you again. PS: We love you too. :) -M, CSM
Great service a delicious entrees. Highly recommend!
Great, genuine Turkish, Mediterranean food! Very friendly environment. Delicious entrees. Highly recommend.
The waitresses are most friendly. They had a drawing for 2 prizes for the 26 parties that made reservations for the night. I am not a cheesecake fan, but they talked me into trying it and it was by far the best i have ever had. Great time and food.
Despite a full house on Valentines day, our meal was served as a work of art and with the appropriate temperature. The chef is to be complimented for this miracle. My Lamb Shawarma was excellent and my husband's chicken kabob looked scrumptious. He also said the Baklava dessert was the best he ever had. Although the calamari appetizer was the most expensive I have ever had, they were very good; the crisp seasoned coating enhanced the squid rings and were cooked to a wonderful tenderness.
Hi! Thank you for joining us on Valentine's Day! I have passed along the compliment regarding Sevan's miracle. Thanks again for coming, and we hope to see you again -Matthew, CSM
Enjoyed a great meal with friends. Staff was very friendly.
Nice variety of menu items. Attentive service. We will go again.
Delicious food and the owner could not have been more hospitable. We will definitely be back.

We had Christmas dinner at Anatolia, our first visit to this restaurant. We arrived early and spent time talking with the owner who recommended some outstanding choices on the menu. Enjoyed a very nice dry Armenian wine. Overall a very enjoyable meal and we highly recommend this restaurant.
Hi Keith! We are very glad you joined us for Christmas, and we hope the new year is treating you well. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed everything and hope that we will be seeing you again soon! - Matthew, Customer Service Manager
The ambiance was great. Service fantastic. Wonderful authentic dishes. Turkish/Armenian food. Linen tablecloths. Couldn’t ask for better. Highly recommend the restaurant.
Hi Patti, I am glad to hear you enjoyed everything and we hope to see you again soon! -- Matthew, Customer Service Manager
Anatolia is must. By far the bet Med dining in Williamsburg!
Hi Tim! Thanks for joining us. I am glad you enjoyed everything and we hope to see you again soon!
Everything was good until I was given old wine. It smelled old. YUK! Then towards the end of the evening, my friend and I were the only ones in there. It was only 830pm and the owners and entire family, cooks and all sat down to eat. They had little kids running around screaming. They were all loud. It was very rude. Then I had to ask someone that wasn't our waitress to get the check. We were there probably 20 mins just waiting. This was only my 2nd visit but I dont think I'll go back.
Excellent food to go along with personalized service provide by the owners themselves. There is a solid investment at Anatolia's for you to relax and enjoy your dining experience. Each visit brings new food and great conversation. I real treat in Williamsburg.
I had one of the lunch entrees and it was wonderful. Good portions for the price. I will be back.
Able to try a new wine and a new dish. The staff were helpful in making suggestions. Will go back.
our meal here was very good but nothing exceptional. We will definitely go back so it was not lacking anything, it’s just that overall we felt that the meal was not as flavorful as we would’ve expected for such cuisine. The wait staff was very good and wine list was certainly adequate. Was nice to see several specials though the one I got was nothing I would probably ever get again. My family members liked that their meals As the herbs and spices used were better than some of the other food we had.
Anatolia is a lovely fusion of Armenian and Turkish cuisine and wines. We enjoyed delicious appetizers - cheese boereg and spectacular muhammarra. The chef, Sevan, made tender lamb chops and deliciously stuffed eggplant along with fresh sautéed vegetables. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, and Bea, co-owner, rounds out the experience with her entertaining stories and recommendations. Be sure to have her homemade baklava!
Imy husband and i dined with 5 other people so we had a varied menu . The food was delicious, service was great but was the owners wife .i had the lamb chops best ive had ina long time ,the only downside our waitress/owner had to do everything, which in fact was not great 2couples walked out .Get more help and it would be perfect
Hi, I am sorry that we were understaffed that night. We are working to make sure our scheduling is proper for the expected guest volume. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. - MS
We ordered the appetizer trio, hummus baba ganoush, & a yogurt with dill & walnuts. All ere excellent.
The main courses of chicken kabobs & lamb shank were well prepared and nicely presented.
Owner and waitress were very attentive.
Hi Michael, Glad to hear everything was excellent. Make sure you come back and visit us again soon! - MS
We went to Anatolia Grill on the written review of another person in our neighborhood.
We loved it! Monica, who greeted us was our server, and she was lovely and very professional. Later in the evening we met the owner, Bea, who was gracious and warmly checked in on our dining experience during the dinner.
Our appetizers were ample and delicious. Our main course vegetables and salad were extremely fresh and outstanding as well. My meat course was good, and it was my mistake for suggesting medium when I should have asked for well done. Portions were enormous, and even though we didnt think we could squeeze in dessert, we did and the baklava was amazing.
We will definitely dine there again, not only because of the food, but because of the staff that made it so personable and enjoyable!
Hi Douglas, Thanks for the feedback! We love knowing our staff exceeded your expectations. Definitely be sure to come back and visit us again soon -MS
Our group of eight women in town for a golf weekend decided on dinner at Anatolia. What a great decision! Everything was perfection. Our hostess Bea was a delightful. Helpful with suggestions and clearly passionate about the food she and her husband prepare. The food was spectacular. Velvety hummus, incredible lamb chops, veggies sautéed in garlic and tomato sauce, and of course multiple types of homemade baklava. We can not recommend this quaint restaurant enough. Bravo!
Hi! We are glad to hear you enjoyed everything, and we hope to see you again with us soon - MS
While Williamsburg has a good variety of restaurants there is no rival to Anatolia. It is unique in its menu and since the owners are in the kitchen as well as out front.... the food is always fresh and delivered with
concern..... oh, is a taste treat! Our return is a must.
Hi Tim! Great to hear. We appreciate the love, and look forward to seeing you again soon. - MS
I loved being in Anatolia. I am Armenian, and I know how to prepare Armenian foods. My mother has been an amazing cook her whole life and wrote a wonderful Armenian cookbook, Please Pass the Pilaf. Being in your restaurant was great, and I enjoyed having authentic, well prepared food with good ingredients.
I rated it "good," rather than higher, because the rice seemed to be plain rice, not moist, flavorful rice pilaf. How could it not be pilaf? The helping was a bit small. The falafel was good too and the tahini sauce, but they were not very flavorful. The salad was the same, a bit bland and not an Armenian salad. I was excited to try the khadyief dessert, but I found the shredded dough to be too compressed and dense and the pistachio filling to be too sweet. I love the dough to be fluffy with a moist filling and served warm. I am willing to give it another try with something else, but I hope you will tweak your recipes.
Hi Karen. I would like to thank you for your honest feedback, and I apologize that we did not surpass your fullest expectations. Please rest assured that I have taken your feedback to heart and will pass it along. We look forward to being able to meet your expectations next time. - MS
Part of 3 promptly seated for an early dinner. This is a small, pleasant dining room in New Town. A diverse list of menu categories: Cold apps, Hot apps, salads, House Specialties, Entrees. Our party were vegetarians so we mostly stayed with apps & salads as the house specials & entrees were very meat heavy (1 fish item). All in, the food was very good. We also ordered a bottle of Armenian wine ($50) which was very good. However, we were surprised how everything added up to a pretty expensive dinner. Apps + salads + dinners + wine + tip = $185.
We are new to Williamsburg and seek out a different restaurant each week as our night out.
This restaurant is a gem. Beat the owner was so pleasant and kind. Her guidance was truly helpful.
We love to try foods of other cultures and dining here is truly a learning and flavorful experience.
You really can’t go wrong if you aren’t too shy to ask for explanations. Bra is a proud and accomplished person and it shows in the foods she and her husband prepare.
Large delicious portions served by staff that want to be sure you are pleased and owners that really care and share.
Hats off to this restaurant !
I meant fezes off to this restaurant!
Hi! We certainly appreciate the love! We are glad you enjoyed your time with us, and look forward to seeing you sometime soon! - Matthew, CSS
Everything was exceptional. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. It was perfect and it is one of Williamsburg’s best kept secrets. Highly recommend.
