   The food was excellent. However, I've had to reduce the rating as the service was not great. We came in under the impression that they have read the booking for the feast menu with pairing wines. But the first waitress did not know what we were talking about. The other waiter then approached a different table mistakenly thinking they wanted the feast menu. Then came back to us telling us they no longer provide the experience, but will do it for us for an extra charge with the wine. We're already there, so we agreed. The first waitress then forgot our requested table water, she also tried to take our wine glasses away when the other waiter placed it there in preparation for the second course. While we enjoyed the food, unfortunately the whole experience just left us a little anxious and disappointed. And this experience was booked for my husband's birthday as we wanted to try something new together. My suggestion, if you're allowing your customers to select if they wanted the feast menu and experience, then the service should review what's on the booking before the guests arrive, or if the menu is no longer available, advise the guests prior to arriving.

   While the restaurant was packed, the servers were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was delivered timely, and it was all delicious! Special mention goes to the lamb shoulder. It was so tender, it literally fell off the bone. The seasoning was perfect as well. We highly recommend Anason!

   Refined and delicious food, as always. After multiple visits, the standard remains consistent. Service staff are attentive but not overwhelming. A meal at Anason is a delightful experience in a harbourside location

   Amazing food, and some great wines on the menu too. Their lavender honey halloumi is to die for, a must try. Anil the manager was fantastic, and we all enjoyed the evening so much. Thanks, will definitely come back again x

   Beautiful food at this restaurant. Every mouthful was Devine. We had a mix of vegetable dishes, no meat. All the dishes were delicious. Really couldn’t decide which was our favourite. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Lovely bottle of Italian Pinot Grigio which went perfectly with the meal. Would definitely eat here again.

    We were a party of 5 celebrating a good friend's 60th birthday. The food was super delicious, as was the wine, and we were very well taken care of by Katie. It was wonderful lunch - thank you.
