This is probably my favourite restaurant in Sydney and I have visited multiple times for business and with friends. Unfortunately, great ambience and excellent food and drinks are (on weekends in particular) often let down by poor service. On this occasion, my three friends and I arrived at 8:30pm for our 9pm booking to have a pre-dinner drink. We were not seated at our table until 9:50pm and were not served food until after 10:30pm. A number of polite inquiries on our part were met with response of "we'll get to you eventually". I keep coming back but I'm starting to wonder why..... Luckily the food was amazing as usual.

Popular oyster bar and restaurant in popular Sydney neighborhood. Unfortunately there was no outdoor seating on a glorious sumner evening. We had an early reservation and were almost the first there Nonetheless we were taken to an uninspired table in a remote corner and not moved when we asked to be, though the restaurant was almost empty. Otherwise... all good.. especially the oysters. Other food was also good, service was competent. By the time we left it was bustling. Next time I would rather sit in the oyster bar as the restaurant had a sort of hokey French brasserie style which didn't seem to fit. It was pricey and rather self-conscious but I'd go back or recommend it.

It's a restaurant with a fun vibe and nicely decorated. Staff are friendly but service is slow & they had run out of a few items on menu by 8.30pm Sat night. Food average. Don't think I'd recommend.
