It was easy to get a last minute reservation! Ambiance and service was excellent 👌. Food was ok, very ordinary and really pricey for what it was. We ordered meat and patatas bravas but the patatas were dry fries. Lol. Meat was really red and bloody, almost cold, even though I advised server in advance that I like the meat well done as I have sensitive stomach. Server was really nice and polite and took the food back to the kitchen. Food came back and was still red and cold :( . I had better food eating tapas at a local place. If you want to experience real Spanish food this is not the place for you as it's more for caterer for tourists that may not know about real Spanish cuisine. 😉

My fish came out completely raw and was taken back to be cooked more but because it was sitting raw brought to the table and then brought back to the kitchen to be cooked more the flavour of the fish had died completely. Was hoping they would cook me a new fish not just slap it back on the grill. Over all the appetizers were great and the service was tremendous. Would recommend.

Did not honor our reservation. Compensated w a glass of wine. Initially Wrong food delivered to table. Rushed to prepare- one dish was piping hot and overcooked; the second dish came w fries- the fries were cold and stale. Compensated w an after dinner drink. Least favorite dining experience in Madrid. Overall taste was good (not great).

Santa Ana staff was accomodating and helpful. Went at 830pm and it really started to fill up by 10pm. Set in beautiful me hotel overlooking the square.

What a beautiful late night at this cute place! We had the Iberia pork and a few other items, and everything was delicious. The service was excellent and they were patient when we tried out our Spanish! I recommend.

The avacado toast was delicious! Seemed a little bit like a hotel guest only breakfast as we didn't feel welcome.

We loved the ham & cheese croquettes. My son loved the burger, I took a bite, he was right that it was delicious. The prosecco sangria was divine.

This was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. It lived up to it's hype. Also, if you get a chance, enjoy the cocktail bar in the basement, not only is it fresh and fantastic, but they grow all of their own herbs for their cocktails. We had the pleasure of the owner bartending. If I ever come back to Madrid, I will absolutely be back.

We were seated at a small table for two by the window. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. We ordered a green salad, roasted vegetables, and the croquettes and a beer. It was all so delicious! Afterwards, the bartender came by and we ordered a glass of dessert wine. The bartender made a recommendation Pedro Ximénez. We enjoyed it all. We highly recommend this place for a wonderfully relaxing and lovely meal.

Years ago I ate here and couldn't finish the rice; it was exaggeratedly salty. Guess I forgot and made a reservation on Christmas Eve. They had reservations available at 5 and later, and I was prompted to reconfirm my reservation at 5. When we arrived, we were told they were closing at 6, and the guy who cuts the ham is gone, so no ham available. We sat down and ordered tea. Soon after a lady started cleaning the floor around and under our table, moving and lifting chairs and basically touching our feet. We asked her to stop, and she wouldn't, so we left. Tapa Tapa nearby was excellent, great service, food, ambiance, etc. Ana la Santa offers terrible food and service. Really unfortunate because the ambiance and appearance are great. Save yourself; go to Tapa Tapa or elsewhere instead.
