I understand that things are different due to the virus, but you will likely not survive unless you ramp up with more and better selections. By 7:30 pm you were sold out of two or the three entree choices. Overall selection was fair at best even if you had everything on the menu available, which you didn’t. And the French press coffees at $12.00 for both was a total rip-off.
We have loved Amuse for years as a special occasion restaurant. But we have no reason to return unless the food selections improve. Service was also fair at best.
I appreciate the somewhat lower prices, but the experience was utterly forgettable in every way.
I’m really sorry to write such a negative review, so I do hope you can ramp things up.
Missed this place soooo much! Thx for the relaxed and safe evening!
Incredible service and experience! Great pricing and atmosphere
Delicious Food. Excellent Service. Enjoyable dinner with the family.
Really lovely meal and service. Huge fan of the steak here and house cocktails.
Amuse has arguably the finest food in the Rogue Valley. It’s out go-to spot for special occasions. In off season the three course fixed price dinner on Thursdays gives you great great three course dinner for $46. Amuse is not to be missed.
We live in Ashland but hadn't visited for a while. So glad we did.
Soup, prawns appetizer, ribs eye and Scallops were all perfect. We ended with beignets for a great ending.
We'll be back soon.
Amuse is generally our "go to" restaurant for a nice dinner out.
We had a delicious meal in this cozy little spot! The staff was very pleasant and we really enjoyed our experience!
Excellent, interesting food, beautifully presented even on a very busy night. Service was attentive and personable.
Beautiful experience excellent food and service great chef 👨🏻🍳 definitely be back when we are in Ashland
The restaurant is smallish and seating is a little cramped with table spaces intruding on each other in some instances. But the food is delicious and creative and not unfairly priced. This was the first meal I've had in a while where I enjoyed every course without reservation. Though not expansive, the wine menu offers a fair choice of varietals and blends at reasonable restaurant prices; the wine by the glass menu, which I enjoyed, is varied and the quality is more than simply adequate. We will surely dine here again.
Outstanding dining experience with Exceptional Service as always!
Hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life!! Super cute restaurant with fantastic food and the nicest waiter.
Generally the restaurant was very good, though a bit overpriced. Food was good, service was good. Tables were too close together.
Amuse is a lovely restaurant nuzzled inside downtown Ashland. I went here with my fiancee on New Year's Eve and they had great specials of Oysters and a perfectly cooked steak. The ambiance made it perfect for a romantic dinner date right before the start of the New Year.
Amuse is our favorite restaurant for celebrating. We go every year for our anniversary, and it never disappoints.
a little more elbow room would be nice. the first course was good sized, the main portion could be slightly larger. chef did excellent job.
Excellent food and service as usual. One of our "go to" spots in Ashland that never fails to please.
What can I say, this is one of the best restaurants I have visited world over. Excellent service, food, drink and ambiance. This restaurant was recommended to us by some locals that we talked to while visiting Ashland, OR. A must visit if you are in Ashland.
Food was bland and tasteless. Wife’s birthday and she couldn’t consume her dinner. Not we had experienced on prior visits to this restaurant. Very disappointed.
It is a pricey dinner but with all the flair and interesting foods! Its our special birthday place!
We thoroughly enjoyed everything regarding our dining experience at Amuse, will be back, and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Ashland.
Low key nice restaurant in Ashland. Intimate restaurant with nice room set-up just off the main street. Excellent food, not overdone. Small but nice wine list with good pricing. Enjoyed the cheese course after the main . Would definitely go back
We enjoyed our dinner! Service seemed a bit slow (to order, get drinks, get served), but we were catching up with friends, so it worked for that particular evening.
Another great meal at Amuse...consistently one of the best restaurants in Ashland. Really exceptional service on this visit...and they're always very open to working with dietary restrictions / issues. Highly recommended!
A perfect date, thank you! I will definitely be coming back, and thank you for the outstanding customer service!
A fine restaurant with delicious food and fine service.. we asked for a relatively quiet table and received one. The red pepper soup and salmon were among the best I've had. Less that one block from the Ashland Springs Hotel, 2-3 blocks from the theater.. a perfect place for pre-theater dining.
Excepional service. The food was delicious. We were seated at the very intimate table by the corner window in the small room up front. It all made for a truly special evening on our final night in Ashland.
We enjoyed our dinner but felt we were rushed. When our waiter took our order for drinks we had a cocktail to be followed by a glass of wine . Our dinner arrived within minutes of our cocktail. We did not order an appetizer but at least expected we could enjoy a few minutes of conversation before our food arrived. A hostess asked if we would be attending a show we said no. They also knew this was an anniversary dinner. Did we need to turn the table??? This would not be our first choice recommendation for a friend.
Innovative dishes, perfectly executed and served graciously and professionally.
Had really nice anniversary dinner there. Great food. A little noisy and waiter not very attentive but otherwise would definitely recommend to friends.
Appetizer choices were fine, especially the shrimp but, as with most restaurants these days, overpriced.
Dinner Menu choices were disappointing. Chef is trying too hard to be creative and original.
Salmon was tough.
Desserts were average.
The waiters were amazing ! We loved how the chief truly cares about his food and what he puts out there! And the desert was the best I've ever had !!!!! Thank you all for such an amazing anniversary:) hope you all keep doing what you are doing and that we come back soon!
The experience at Amuse was exceptional: freshly prepared, distinct and well complemented flavors, and perfectly proportioned entrees delivered by a wait staff that was knowledgeable and gracious. My preference for the halibut entree cooked beyond the menu’s description of seared was accepted and communicated to the chef without an eyebrow raise! It was cooked perfectly! We enjoyed our cocktails and dessert as well. The chocolate truffle cake was deliciously complemented with espresso ice cream. And it made a wonderful highlight to a birthday dinner for two.
We sat outside on their heated patio and were quite comfortable. We frequent this restaurant and are never disappointed. The food is fresh and creatively, respectfully prepared to the best it can be. I love the amuse bouche and surprise sweet treat at the end of an always delicious meal.
Continues to be one of our favorite Ashland restaurants.
Will be back next year.
We went to Amuse for our honeymoon dinner because we have been there before and the food is wonderful. We were surprised that we got an amuse bouche but had to pay for the bread. Our waiter looked really bored. Our entree, which we shared, was a game hen which was very tasty. I had salad for dessert which I love. The dining room was not full but there was outside dining on a lovely night which was mostly full. We will return as the food is that good.
I had the duck confit which was outstanding. One of the best things I have ever eaten. Then I had the gnocchi which was great. Then I had the pineapple tartan. It tastes great, but I had to ask for a knife to cut it.
We were going to an 8:00 o’clock theater play, so we arrived a 5:30 with 5:45 reservations. The waitstaff was very nice, but slow. We had to push them to get a desert menu, and the check so we could barely make it to the play. We had told them at the beginning- when they asked - that we were going to a play. I think they were just short on staff.
Food was great and authentic regional cuisine. The ambiance was marginal. The restaurant may be due for remodeling
