As always, Amuri was superb. It had been a while since I had visited but it was the perfect location for a convivial lunch between 3 good friends. We had a mix of starters, all excellent; the other 2 then each had the lobster special, which was described as divine, while I had the trofie pasta with pistachio cream, gorgeous. All washed down with some Primitivo, sure why not? It will not be as long before the next return, thanks Luca, Andrea & the team.

House wine on menu not available, next wine recommended and were given tasting ..decided on that ..yet again not available...substitute wine average .All main courses arrived cold .

Terrible food and service. 1. Starter was cold 2. Mains - my pasta sauce was very watery. It was probably defrosted and full of water. Lacked salt. The pasta was very chewy. 3. Sides were ordered, asked twice to be brought on the table and never arrived. 4. They tried to charge me twice for a glass of wine when I obviously had one. Totally disappointing experience. There are better places if you wanted to eat real Italian. I think that the waiter had given up cooking proper Italian food. The waiters seemed to be friendly but seemed more like a tragedy to hide that fact that the food was lacklustre. I won’t be going back that’s for sure.

Pleasant restaurant in a great Dublin neighborhood for food and drinks. A little awkward getting into this 2nd floor restaurant that shares an entrance with. A dental office. Food is good, but not great. Menu is limited and they have almost no options if you’re gluten sensitive. Service was good, but not exceptional and it seemed rushed, or perhaps that was our server’s approach.

What an unexpected pleasure! We chose it because of its location but we would go out of our way to go back again. The entrance is a little funky; it’s up a level and you have to be buzzed in. The food is delicious and definitely not predictable Italian, the service is attentive and warm, and it was quiet enough that we could actually talk.
