Perched on the western corner of Thames Street and located in the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Museum building with the Living Classrooms Foundation, Ampersea dining room, patio, and event spaces offer a stunning combination of panoramic harbor views, impeccable service, and delectable dishes. During our busy season the restaurant has policies in place that may affect your reservation. please review the following:

One of my favorite places for a calm weekend afternoon drink and small bite - if the weather is nice, sit outside. If it isn’t nice, stay inside. Either way, you’re going to have an amazing vibe.

Wonderful second visit! The atmosphere is lovely, the food is good quality, and the service is excellent. Oscar, the Bartender/our server, had a funny & kind personality. my friend and i will definitely be coming back! :)

I made this 3pm reservation several months in advance to celebrate my daughter graduation from college. Upon entering the establishment, we are informed we have an hour to eat because they are closing for a private event. What do we do! I wanted to leave, but my daughter was starving after a three hour graduation ceremony, and it’s a beautiful Saturday so everyplace is probably busy and then we would have to wait to be seated. We stay. The food and drinks were great, but we felt rushed and could enjoy the meal, ambiance, or each other’s company. This was our oldest child graduation ! Needless to say, we ate, we paid, and we left. Never to return again.
