The food is absolutely amazing. They even gave us some champagne for our anniversary!
Wife and I had a wonderful time at Amorette. The food was wonderful and the service not quite like a Michelin Star course meal service but very nice.
The food, service and sommelier were first rate! We've been to many top rated restaurants and Amorette is definitely in that rating tier. Wonderful to have a 5 star restaurant in Lancaster.
Outstanding experience! Amazingly delicious food. We chose the four course dinner; no-one felt deprived, in spite of small servings. The staff was excellent: professional and personable. We look forward to our next dinner.
Wow! Amazing meal. The 4 course tasting menu gave us lots of choice... even for my picky eater. The food was wonderful, the service top notch. It’s expensive but worth the plunge for a special occasion.
Had a great time. Food courses come quickly. The steak was out of this world! The first 3 courses could have a little more food so you're not relying on bread. Otherwise, 5/5 stars
Amazing place! Would definitely go again for their 7-course tasting menu and would recommend for a nice night out. I treated my parents to dinner to celebrate their upcoming birthdays, and Amorette went above and beyond to make it special.
The experience was very enjoyable! The setting is elegant, the service was perfect and the food was outstanding!!
We are making Amorette top of our list to return to soon!!
Amorette was absolutely fabulous! I took my husband there for his birthday, and we both were blown away by how delicious and innovative the food was. We plan to return again as soon as we have another special occasion to celebrate.
Amazing experience, we selected the 7 course tasting menu. Food, service and atmosphere were exceptional.
Had the 4 course prix fixe-delicious!! The fois gras was excellent, main course rabbit and lamb were amazing. Service was spot on and not snooty-much appreciated.
The food, drinks and atmosphere are great at Amorette. We have been there several times for drinks, but we enjoyed the food during Restaurant Week when we were going to see Evita at the Fulton. Everything tasted very good. Dave always gives us a welcome greeting.
Servers are conscientious and attentive, excellent execution of the food and an upscale ambiance
We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife’s birthday. The staff was very attentive. Management visited us at our table. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. The dishes of each of the courses was a work of art. Amorette is a welcome addition to the restaurant scene in Lancaster.
This was my second time there and it was even better than the first time. I selected the 4 course prix fixe and got some wines by the glass to compliment each course. I had fois gras which was soft and buttery smooth and simple outstanding. I enjoyed the Russian River Valley Pinot Noir with that and my next course which was the pasta selection. 4 light buttery packet of pasta not unlike Gnocchi which were a succulent delight. The "main" course was slices of rib eye which was excellent and prepared to perfection. I paired this with a Syrah which was appropriately complementary with the steak. The dessert was a fresh peach sorbet which was very good. The ambiance is like nothing around here and sitting where we were, you could have been in New York or any large city in the world it is that appealing and cosmopolitan. I would go back in a New York second. F
We’ve eaten in the lounge many times. First time for dinner. Four course dinner with wine pairings was outstanding!! Service was excellent and three hours later we were totally satisfied with the experience. Made reservations for the wine/dinner night in October. A great addition to the restaurant scene in Lancaster. No need to travel to NYC or Phila for a great dining experience.
My husband truly unlike anything we've ever had with plenty of options for anyone to choose something they will like. We even received a complimentary extra dessert with a glass of champagne for our anniversary. It was an experience we won't soon forget! We cannot wait to return!
Second time there. We have been to a number of Michelin star restaurants and this compares nicely. Elegant but not snobby service. I asked the assistant sommelier for wine suggestions under $100 and she suggested one for$52 and one for $72. Not trying to rip you off. We had a drink first in the bar because it was beautiful
We had a great experience here!! The food was delicious and beautifully crafted, and they included a lot of value added things that I didn't expect at all, like warm towels for our hands at the beginning, two amuse-bouches, and a few nice gestures for my husband's birthday! It's a bit expensive, but definitely worth the experience. Also, we got the 4 course meal option. We would definitely go back, for special occasions!
Hard to believe this is in downtown Lancaster! Great cocktails & engaging staff at the bar make it easy to start the night. The prix fixe dinner menu took it to another level - great choices, perfectly prepared and plated. Each course was an experience. The wine list is amazing, but we let Thierry pair each selection with wine and it was fantastic. Thanks to all for a special night.
Amorette did not disappoint. Excellent service, delicious food, exquisite presentation and a beautiful chic decor made our dining experience worthy of five stars. The special details including recognition of my daughters birthday. Highly recommend!
An absolutely amazing meal experience. We felt welcomed the moment we arrived. We were treated like royalty but in a totally relaxed atmosphere. Every staff member was very friendly and helpful with acclimatization of the restaurant and explanations of all the dishes. It was the perfect balance of attention without feeling hovered over. The wait between each excellent course was perfectly timed and we enjoyed the special treats between. The sommelier was a delightful and knowledgeable French gentleman as well as his apprentice, Nicole. His assistance is invaluable when choosing a wine with dinner. Cudos for a job well done!
A group of three friends: our Amorette experience was very good to excellent. The food quality and wine selections were amazing. I am still raving about the fois gras! What I loved the most about Amorette was the very classy yet relaxed, nature of the service: each member of the wait team displayed professionalism with friendliness and at times, humor. This made us feel both welcomed and comfortable. The only issue to improve on could be the table location-- great table in front the cellar, but being so close to the wine display table, we found the trainer-trainee, bottle-opening exercises noisy and distracting.
One of our best restaurant experiences.
Food, service, ambience and the bathrooms! All top notch
Dining at Amorette is a next level experience. From the ambience and all-star staff to the delicious, thoughtfully and creatively prepared dishes, this restaurant is not to be missed.
A unique dining experience, perfect for special occasions or to create a special memory with friends.
This was not just a meal; this was an "experience." We had a great time! The food was wonderful! The presentation was a work of art. It was gourmet, for sure. We chose the 4 course menu. There were six or seven options for each course. Portions were small; but it was exactly the right amount of food - enough, but not too much. We prefer to not be stuffed when we leave a restaurant. It's expensive - not something we could do very often. But for an anniversary celebration, it was perfect. It seemed like there were more servers than needed. Then again, we didn't want for anything. Several times a server brought a surprise item - not ordered or expected. How nice! There was music playing, but soft enough that it wasn't a distraction. Best anniversary celebration we've had for quite a while.
Amazing food and a wonderful overall experience
A little fancy, a lot more swanky & really well done --- AMAZING service & atmosphere - AMAZING food & wine. Prix fixe menu with Michelin trained chefs did not disappoint! Their Sommelier is from France, was super knowledgeable & enjoyed sharing his expertise. Lancaster has such a great food scene, with this at the top of the list, for sure!!
Amorette offers an experience that is unique to Lancaster. The food, ambiance, and service and second to none. Expect a quiet, personal level of service with flavors that will blow your mind. Highly recommend the 7 course menu with the wine pairing. Thierry the sommelier will guide you through his wine selections for each course, a truly stellar experience. While the prices are higher than many Lancaster venues, the overall experience is well worth the added cost.
A little bit of Europe in downtown Lancaster. Amazing food, thankfully small portions which allowed one to savor every morsel. Beautifully presented by efficient and friendly servers. Terrific, knowledgeable sommelier. The bar is beautiful, as well.
Excellent food, excellent service. A welcome find as a Philadelphia transplant. Rivals some of the best I’ve had in Philadlephia, a place known for food. The wine list is incredibly expansive, which can be overwhelming for some if not used to it but the sommelier is outstanding and invaluable.
Was unaware that you could bring own wine for a corkage fee which is nice. If the corkage fee was $30 instead of $50, it would be a perfect balance.
Regardless, excellent overall and plan to be back monthly if not more frequently.
The food was excellent, the staff was superb, we will definitely return.
The overall experience at Amorette is like no other. Service was amazing and friendly. The seven course tasting experience was exactly that, an experience. Be prepared to be taken on a culinary journey with all sorts of tastes and dishes. At times it is even a religious experience! Highly recommended if you have the disposable income!
Outstanding food and service! Highly recommend.
We were celebrating our Anniversary an it was the middle of the week so the restaurant wasn’t that busy. It seem like we were the only ones there, so we had there full attention.
From the first course to the last course I would say that each course was better an better.
The ambience to the wine to the wait staff was all excellent. The wait staff made our night a night that we will never forget.
I told my wife that our night there is a night that I will never forget.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone celebrating a special event or to anyone that would like to have a memorable night.
Sometimes you fear returning to a special place because it often is not what you remembered. With Amorette, our return was even better than our earlier experience!! Gracious and enjoyable service, marvelous food (presentation and taste), and such a wonderful atmosphere. And, of course, there's the exceptional sommelier, Thierry Lesparre. Not only does Theirry steer you in the right direction for your wine selection, he will tell you as much as you want to know about the specific wine you select and wine in general. He is deeply knowledgeable, passionate about what he does, and a joy to talk with.
Bravo to the entire Amorette team. We will be back.
