Amore Restaurant and Bar
It was our anniversary and we were very pleased with our evening! The service was beyond 5 stars! Would definitely come back.
Great experience ... a gem in Coral Gables . Enjoy Amore spice next month
Thank you so much for your review, we are really appreciate your five star, we look forward to see you again
Very quaint. Nice decor, loved the velvet couches! I had the breaded cod over asparagus risotto and it was delicious! So was the tiramisu.
The service was a little slow besides that everything was great.
Love Amore. Second time going and very happy both times. Great food, beautiful setting, and amazing service. Grazie Amore!
Excellent menu. Very good attentive service. Highly recommended.
We were a party of 8. Four people in their 30's and 4 in their 60's. We all left happy with the food, drinks and service enjoyed by all.
I have had the pleasure to enjoy Amore a few times now and I hope they stay around for a long time, the food is very good. The service could use some improvement. The bar could use some higher shelf products (Scotch, I have mentioned it a couple of times actually) and they should not have added so many more tables. The space looks very crowded now and when there are not many customers, very empty... Less tables made it a more intimate experience, exclusive even. On my last visit one of the waiters poured so much water in one of the glasses that it spilled over onto the table. He then left the other glasses empty LOL. I will still go back, I happen to enjoy their food very much. One thing- the waitress is very nice but wears a strong parfum that lingers so long that you can smell it over the food. (sorry =/) Good Luck Amore!
What a great find! Warm cozy atmosphere, great food & great service! Our waiter ( Oscar I think, not sure) was Exceptional! Definitely going back!
Fantastic. Best carpaccio I’ve ever eaten. We went at 2:30 so virtually had the place to ourselves. Will definitely go back.
The food and the service was fantastic
Amazing food. We all loved it. Beautiful decor.
Very good food.
We went for a recent wedding celebratory dinner, arrived as they were opening and the place was empty, as the evening progressed it filled up. Everything was great all around. The only drawback was with my dessert, I ordered the panna cotta and its texture was not soft, either too much gelatin was used to make it, or it was several days old. In the past the had live music on Thursday nights and saw they were advertising it again, its great to go for dinner or just have drinks at the bar and enjoy the show. Call first because its not every Thursday
We had a delicious Miami Spice dinner! Our waiter was awesome! We will be back!!!
Server, manager, and owners were all very vey helpsuñ and attentive.
Service was great and food was delicious
Food & service were excellent. Two of us ordered the special and failed to ask the price in advance. The specials were doubled the same dish listed on the menu. The portions were generous but we would have never ordered that dish at that price.
The food was very good and I liked the fact that we never felt rushed. If you are in a hurry and want to be served and eat in an hour, you may have to notify wait staff. We were there on a Friday and they were very busy. The staff was still attentive, smiled, and were happy to give suggestions and recommendations. That being said, the did forget my cocktail, but brought it quickly when I reminded them. The full bar was a treat for such a small space.
We had a really good meal here 2 weeks ago, so we decided to return. Cocktails were very good (bartender Ali nice guy)- price went up a couple of dollars per drink in 2 weeks. Food was mostly good this time though the crab cake came still frozen inside- not good. We'll go back again, but not so quickly next time.
Great experience. Cool, modern setting with nice bar adjacent to dining room. Good cocktails. Food was excellent from appetizers (calamari was large and fresh) to entrees. Service was attentive and friendly. Definitely going back!
Service was above and beyond expectations. The food was delicious.
We went to Amore for dinner to celebrate after my daughter's dance recital. It was a Sunday night, surprisingly not very busy. The service was spectacular...very attentive, not rushed, they served our little's first, they did not have a children's menu but offered to split their pasta dish and prepare it 2 different ways (butter/cheese and Alfredo) without extra charge. They were ON TOP of our beverages, we never went a second with an empty glass. We ordered 2 appetizers, both were delicious and devoured...the Calamari (super fresh, not chewy) with marinara and a Charcuterie board (Prosciutto, Salami, Mortadella, Cheeses, etc.). They also brought us freshly baked Focaccia which was warm and yummy. Our main dishes were plated beautifully, nice portions and, again, delicious. Fresh made pasta, you can tell it's from scratch, melted in our mouths. My father enjoyed the Lasagna, my mother ate a Calabaza soup with Caprese salad, my MIL ate the Linguine Ai Frutti Di Mare, my husband enjoyed the Pollo Al Limone and I had the Filetto Ai Funghi Porcini. We took nothing home, seriously, I would have licked my plate but I was in public. It was that good. The kiddos enjoyed some dessert, a brownie ice cream, also made fresh. I was not disappointed and I would definitely return/recommend this restaurant. You can feel the "Amore" in the food. The ambiance was very pleasant as well. Dim lighting, sexy couches that you can choose to dine from (great date night spot), "chill" music, full bar (A++), very clean bathrooms. The whole nine. Go, you will not regret it.
The pasta is truly amazing! We had the spaghetti carbonara and the short rib ravioli. They were done to perfection- al dente. The carbonara wasn’t dry and the ravioli was very meaty with a wonderful sauce. Very happy with our meal and the service.
Excellent pris fix Mother’s Day dinner, nice touch giving a long stem rose to Mom, ample size portions perfectly prepared. Music too loud when we arrived but hostess lowered upon our request-attentive service
The food was wonderful, the cacio y pepe one of the best I’ve had and everyone enjoyed our meal. The only issue was the restaurant has a boozy Sunday brunch and that did not combine well with families having Easter lunch . There was a long center table , with a large group , made up of basically screaming 30 somethings, that were obviously pretty drunk at 1:30 pm. The noise level was deafening and we almost got up and left. The restaurant staff was obviously mortified, rightfully so! I would highly recommend Amore make a decision to suspend the brunch ,on special occasions, if they plan on serving lunch. Drunk brunch and family lunch do not work!!!
Other than that, the service was attentive and friendly, the squid ink pasta, quinoa salad, pastas and grilled salmon were delicious. Compliments to the Chef!
The food was outstanding and so was the service. The pear and gorgonzola pasta was to die for. And the pumpkin soup was out of this world. Highly recommended this gem of a restaurant.
Incredible pasta! Delicious.
Food and service were excellent, will be one of our regular places to dine.
Awesome. The food and the atmosphere were fantastic. Look forward to returning
The food was outstanding. The staff was warm and friendly and the restaurant was lovely. The only oddity was that there is a beautiful large TV behind the bar on which they show nothing but scenery. It would be perfect for game viewing.
My husband and I, and our daughter, met a friend and her daughter for dinner with our reservation at 8 PM. Unfortunately, our table was not available until about 8:45 PM, so we sat at the bar for drinks. The hostess was very apologetic and kept us updated, and the bartender was very attentive and accommodating. The restaurant also provided a delicious, complimentary appetizer of meats, cheeses, and olives with a honey dip, the Affettati Misti, to make up for our late seating. Wonderful! My husband and I split the special of seafood on black linguine, which was really tasty and plenty of food for the two of us. Our daughter had the Spaghetti alla Genovese, and our friend and her daughter had the Pollo Picatta and the Spaghetti con Polpette, respectively, all of which they indicated were very good. Overall, despite the late seating, an excellent experience and excellent food.
Great food great service. Really hope Amore will be here in the Gables for years to come. Well worth a try.
Great and cozy restaurant for lunch. A wonderful meal.
The pasta and seafood were great. Love the full bar and ambiance. Appetizers were awesome. Can’t wait to try it again!
Restaurant was closed when I arrived. Open Table listed the restaurant as open and accepted the reservation.
Owner was welcoming and nice, the ambience is cozy and fresh, I felt at home. The food was amazing and perfectly priced!
The Octopus is to die for and so was the linguine di mare (black homemade pasta with seafood)
Service was excellent and the food was very good. The Quinoa Salad was good and enough to share. Likewise, the Beef Carpaccio was very good, lean and thin. The Fillet with the wine sauce was very good. The Veal Parm was good, but part of the breading was burnt. A little extra sauce would have been nice.
Nice selection of wine and full bar. Understand there is live music on Thursdays. Will be checking that out
