    Friends recommended. Said food was outstanding. Well, chicken was dry and average flavor, rice was cold. Gyro was so/so. Not a $29 value for the half chicken. Nice staff, nice ambiance. Over all, just above average

    The restaurant was fine. The lamb was not tender. The hummus, lebneh, falafel were excellent. Michael, our server, was outstanding. Great ambience. I don't like the policy of being charged as much as $10 per person if you cancel your reservation in less than 24 hours. That's a long time and things can happen.

    The food was delicious as always. Frances was very attentive, yet not overbearingly so, and answered all of our questions with well informed answers. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will be back!

    We always love going to Ammatoli, and this time we went for Brunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was quieter, with fewer people, and we arrived a little early but were seated right away. There were three of us, and we decided to go with the Family Brunch Time option. It was very good and plentiful, but a few too many dips. The Fattet hummus was just OK. I was puzzled as to why they list toasted pita in the description, because the pita is actually in the hummus, making it wet with a kind of slimy mouth feel. The Shakshouka is outstanding, too hard to share. We each could've had our own. Next time, we are going to order a side of Batata Harra to go with this tasty brunch.

    It gets better with the time. We have known Ammatoli since the restaurant open for first time, and it has been a good experience since the first time. Every time that we go back the beautiful chef surprise us with delicious flavors and really natural food.

    Jaz was our server and did an excellent job! We have dined her before but our friends had not. She gave a little history on the chef and explained the way to best enjoy the experience. She was attentive without hurrying us. From the fresh out of the oven pita to the off the charts appetizers….we barely had room for entrees. We managed to eat every morsel of the rib eye kabobs and spicy garlic chicken. It was a 10 on service, ambiance, food and cleanliness. We can’t wait to come to Long Beach again!

    Amazing food and ambiance! It was our first time there and we were guided on menu selections by our waiter, Chase. We tried items we would have never picked ourselves and were greatly pleased! Highly recommend requesting Chase for an awesome experience! Can’t wait to go back!
