I was quite dissatisfied with the food and it was not very good, definitely things you could easily make at home for like $5. Would not recommend going there to eat maybe just drink at the bar.

I asked for a spicy margarita, which they don't have on the menu and the bartender made the best one ever. He even came over to ask how it was. Our waitress was amazing, the food and atmosphere was fantastic. Need to check out this gem!

Great atmosphere and location, food was delicious (though a little spicy across the board), good value, service was not too attentive as we sat with empty waters and cocktails for the majority of our main course. Pro Tip: Get the eggplant chips - id go back JUST for those alone!

I’ve been to Amis a few times and always enjoyed it. The food is very good. My last visit wasn’t as good. The appetizers were great but my pasta was dry. Otherwise, service was excellent and everything else was as good as my previous visits.

Overall it was nice however our waiter got less pleasant as the evening went on. It seemed he was annoyed about something. Maybe he was having a bad day but he should not take it out or make it obvious to your customets?

We had a nice time but they were understaffed. The bathrooms were awful. Our server was lovely - but the bar was short staffed, took too long for someone to greet us. Expected more. The entrees were delish tho - rigatoni and short rib.

Our res was at 6:30 and we were seated close to 7 due to guests who lingered despite they were told they needed to be on there way at 6:30 - well, allegedly anyway. The waiting area was a pseudo bar area with tons of staff traffic and an unattended child/guest. On the bright side, my pinot grigio was good. Little gem Ceasar - meh, short on flavor. Nothing special. And then came the bolognese - simply unedible as it had no flavor. Clearly it wasn't actually bolognese as bolognese by its very nature has flavor. The hostesses were mostly amenable and had the good sense to comp our wine.

It will be a while before we go back. Unfortunately we had the worst service during this dinner that we have had in a long time. We have dined here many times and it’s one of our favorite local restaurants. Our appetizers took over 45 minutes to arrive while we watched the two tables next to us get theirs as well as their cocktails and entrees. By the time we finally got our starters all the tables that came in at the same time as we did were finished. We were not offered any extra bread nor were we offered compensation off of any of our menu items. Such a disappointing and frustrating experience for a $200 bill for 2 people.

The floors were dirty and sticky. The tables were sticky but the waiter explained it was the sanitizer they used. The veal saltimbocca was dry meat with sauce served with frisée salad. The bucatini probably had no flavor as my friend kept adding salt. Overall it was location location location. A great table for us to sit and chat with wide open windows which is why no one complained about the food

Sadly it’s not what it used to be. Food has taken a big nose dive. I think there are new owners perhaps? We have given it so many tries since it changed. This used to be our go to for dinner but we will need to find a new place.

Our food was so peppery we must have drank a day’s worth of water in one sitting! The gnocchi was meh. The burrata “salad” had about 10 leaves of (some wilted) arugula. I don’t think we will be rushing back.

Service a bit slow but they might have been understaffed. Appetizers came out very slowly one at a time but they took the 3rd off the bill because it came out with the entrees. Food is always good and drink too.
