From when we entered the restaurant the maitre d was welcoming to the servers to the chef. Wonderful atmosphere. Wonderful food. Menu was hard to choose from as everything sounded delicious. My husband and I chose a bread service, 3 starters and one main and delicious desert. Can’t wait to return.

A lovely, intimate restaurant, with unique flavors inspired from Spain and Portugal. We were delighted to try a new place and find that despite a small menu, it had innovative, tasteful, choices. Between the recommendations of Executive Chef Greg and our server, we settled in on a delightful mix of wines, starters, entrees, and a shared dessert. Near the end of our meal, my husband had an surprise medical occurrence which was a little scary, but luckily was not serious. They were very concerned and offered assistance, which was very much appreciated. Thankfully, things settled down on their own, with some extra water and some cooling down. With a frequently rotating menu, we look forward to our next opportunity to return and explore some new taste combinations. We were also impressed to see that the Amilinda is community minded after we happened to catch a TV newspot just a few days later regarding their special Pride Brunch that will raise awareness and funds for HIV and AIDS that is coming up.

John did great as our server, the Monkfish was outstanding. Maybe one more vegetarian option would be good, but my wife loved the carrot entree.

Delicious duck pate with side condiments of mustard, blueberry compote and pickled onions came first followed by a Russian salad which is a variation of a potato salad with peas and ramps and carrots. Our entrees were skirt steak with creamy jerusalem article puree and delicate little crispy potatoes. My husband had a pork chop with a kind of chicory sauce on a bed of white beans. Dessert was a spectacular tart with poppy seed and an orange custard filling with a lovely meringue on top. I’m getting hungry just recalling it! Thus is my favorite restaurant not only for the innovative menu and excellent food but I love the cool fun ambience and the wonderful laid back but totally professional staff. Highly recommend!

We went to Amilinda for our anniversary dinner. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be back again. The steak was as perfect as I've ever had and the mousse alone is worth coming back for again. The service was also excellent and the host was fantastic.
