Always good food and service.
This is the third time I have dined at Amici. The food has been wonderful each time. There is energy in the room and the wait staff is very attentive. I will definitely return.
We had a 6:30pm reservation for 4 people and served our dinner at 7:50pm. Meanwhile we noticed tables of similar size who were seated later were served dinner much sooner. We were offered no discount on our dinner or appetizer due to the extreme delay in service. Based on this dining experience, we will never come back to Amici.
Had an informal office meeting here for 6 people, so got a table in a quieter location around the corner from the main dining area. Artichoke appetizer was AMAZING. Salmon kale salad fresh and generously sized. All enjoyed their meals immensely.
Very loud. Waitress over-burdened, too many tables for one server.
We enjoyed a great dinner and birthday celebration. Our server was very attentive. The table next to us had unruly children and the parents were oblivious. Certainly not the restaurant’s fault. The noise level was pretty significant.
Highly recommend Amici’s
Poor service and mediocre food. Mgmt staff doesn’t know how to remedy when they don’t deliver on service or food.
Excellent service with good food. We would go back for sure.
Always great food and great service !
Very good food, service excellent, wine and cocktails extremely overpriced.
I loved the appetizers, special note to the octopus which was perfect! Beautiful setting, and our server was really nice. Wines a little overpriced.
But everything else was great!
The decor is cool and the food was really good. We had the burrata appetizer, the meatball appetizer and the soup of the day- all delicious. Dinners were the bolognese (outstanding, super flavorful), the gnocchi (like little pillows of yumminess), and the fish of the day. All very good. The wine was nice. We split the tiramisu for desert - just okay, we would not order it again. Nice evening.
The salmon dish was amazing. Food has been excellent the 2 times we’ve been. The four stars came from the fact that when we arrived we were told by the hostess that we had to sit outside because we booked our reservation online. We felt like we were demoted for using their website versus calling. The inside has a much more romantic atmosphere which is why we chose this restaurant for a date night. The outside is very casual and doesn’t feel like it matches the ambiance one is looking for in a date night.
We had calamari as an appt and pizza, salad and the angry chicken (my husband’ favorite) for dinner. Everything was excellent. The service as was very good — attentive, followed up and even the bus person apologized when he dropped a plate a few feet from our table. I was very impressed - management clearly is training the staff to provide excellent service.
Amici’s is always so good! The food is fresh, well prepared and consistently wonderful! The menu is diverse enough to please everyone including the kiddos. The patio is cute and dog friendly, with treats and water bowls for your fur-friend. The cioppino on Sunday nights is not to be missed.
I was having a rough day & the excellent waiters and staff helped me recover lol. Very polite, professional, friendly. Generous & delicious servings, very accommodating and comfirting. Thank you!
Service was good but a little slow, otherwise great local spot and good overall experience.
Service let this place down. Took a long time to be seated and a long time to be served. Never brought our appetizer order and when we asked them about it we were told the kitchen must have lost it. One of our entrees was wrong so had to be sent back. Manager then came over to apologize. It’s a shame as this place could be a really great popular restaurant but if they don’t improve their service it will go the way of the restaurant across the road and be empty.
Great service and great food! Would recommend this place for any occasion.
Really enjoyed my 21st birthday dinner and had a very sweet server who attended all our needs. Very pretty restaurant.
Great food and service !
Excellent food and excellent service. We had tasty calamari and a wonderful beet salad followed with a beef tortellini and a side of cauliflower. The cauliflower was good but very strong flavored & pricey for what you get. We definitely recommend and we will return!
We went for Restaurant week and ordered from the $35 menu. I loved the octopus 🐙 appetizer, jerk chicken 🍗 and carrot 🥕 cake for dessert. We also got tiramisu and all was delicious 😋
Excellent Food, Great Service, and Best selection of wines
We keep coming back to try new menu items and our favorites
It was crowded and the waiter was slammed. Service was not great
Unfortunately understaffed . The staff were doing their best but management is ultimately responsible
It was very good, however when I made the reservation on-line with Open Table a few days before the 6 of us showed up, it seemed they did not know we were coming. We had to wait a few minutes for them to scoot tables together and seat us. So call them directly to make a reservation in lieu of Open Table. It was probably an oversight, I'm sure, but the food was very good and the service was good too. The restaurant is clean and very well decorated.
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Service was a little slow which was surprising since we went early and it wasn't very crowded. Would return for sure.
We had a nice brunch used to go when it was Dolce; does not seem that much different; will definately go again.
Outstanding service and spectacular pasta ! Add a great bottle of Chianti Classico and it’s a wonderful evening
First time there. We had a reservation, but there was a line of people waiting to check in - and no hostess in sight. After standing there for about 10 minutes, the hostess gave us a very limited selection of tables, and walked away. We saw a few empty booths and sat down at one. After the waiter finally brought our bottle of wine and cocktail, the manager came over to our table and said there had been a mistake, and we would have to move to another table. We were stunned (and as a sidelight, the majority of the other patrons were very poorly dressed). I suggested to my husband that we just leave and go somewhere else. As we were getting up, the manager said "the problem had been solved," and asked us to stay. Food service was terrible. It took an HOUR to get some simple pasta dishes - the ones recommended by the waiter.
The brunch menu was appealing. I ate the pizza and it was delicious. Just the right amount. Everyone enjoyed their food. The only reason I’m not super excited is because of the service. Everything was super slow, from ordering to the food being delivered. Our waitress didn’t even remember what we ordered. I would understand if they were busy but the place only had three tables occupied. Again, the food tasted amazing and for that reason I would go back.
The food was really good, nice selection. The decor was cool and inviting. The service was impeccable. We liked this when it was Dolce at the Highlands, but with leaning more toward italian, we like it even more.
This was so delicious!! We sat at the patio because it was slightly quieter than indoors. We had the bruschetta appetizer which was amazing! The tomatoes were juicy and sweet and the cheese was creamy and delicious. I ordered the Bronzino special which was pricy but so good. It was stuffed with crab and had squash to accompany topped with fried onions. My one son had the steak special which he devoured! The steak was cooked perfectly and the side potatoes were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. So good!! My other son ordered the pasta with clams. He wanted to compare the dish to the one in Italy and he said it was even better! Loved everything and will definitely be back. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and we were greeted with a smile. LOVED!
Was surprised the value I got , food was excellent and an unexpected affordability. I’ll be back
Hostesset us with a smile and a hello; we were seated promptly. Server - Vanessa tool great care of us and checked in frequently to make sure everything was ok.
Appetizers (lamb, portobello, and octopus) and dinner choices were delicious.
Will definitely return.
Service was fair - food was okay.
Bus boy brought water to the table in a large bottle and did not offer to pour it.
Fish soup was ordered with mussels which were not in the dish - waiter said the chef was not including them
in the "soup".
Folks at the next table ordered pasta with mussels after our order was served. They got the mussels.
My friend got sick the next day - we both ordered the lamb chop starter. Not sure what made her ill.
Solid food and service. Beautiful restaurant, and a fun patio. Plus they have Allagash White!
